Beep beep, Slip McScruff coming in hot with some hot takes this hot Draft Day.

You might know me from some of my previous work like winning the S44 Four Star Cup, or winning the S45 Four Star Cup, or most recently winning the S46 Four Star Cup. Well, I'm here to drop a fluff piece on some of the rookies I played with this season even though they've all been around longer than I have. Now, we've got like seven rookies so I can't get into all of them, but I picked these three that I talked to the most during our exciting cup run, that we won if you haven't heard.

First up, we got Nicolaj Muller (@esilverm). For those who don't know, he pronounces his name "Nicolaj", so I hope that clears up some confusion. This madman taught me what a scarecrow sounds like, and I've bled hay for 3 god damn years. We picked him up late in the season so he ended up playing more playoff games than regular season games. However, rumor has it he's got connections to an old crow from S38 that was traded to KEL right at the end of his J career. He's always tinkering with his geek ass robot shit in the locker room, but seems like some people are into that. As a late starter, he's a little behind the pack but that's why you gotta buy low sell high baby. By sell high, I mean win yourself a Challenge Cup on the back of Nicolaj friggin Muller. CERTIFIED WAGON

Next, is Charlie god damn Serpe (@Serpe x 13). This kid makes me look bad, he blocked just as many shots as me in 100 less minutes during the regular season. During the playoffs, he blocked over 50% more shots than me in 3 minutes less per game, plus ran a higher +/-. I had the benefit of ripping assists off our top line all season, but he did all this sharing the ice mainly with our 3rd line. Luckily he got to learn from STL legend Kiko Rytmeyr on the PP and PK. If he goes first overall to the Winnipeg Jets (not a big deal), it's just a matter of time before I'll be stuck in his shadow. CERTIFIED WAGON.

Last but not least, we have Noah Gallagher (@fever95). His first season wasn't anything special, but our team was stacked and he didn't see very much ice time in the crowded locker room. That being said, he scored the same amount of playoff goals as me in about 1/3 the ice time. Expect him to light it up next season with some more TPE under his belt and some more time on the ice. I do see that he didn't bump his discipline to 70 like I did, so that's probably a good sign. He's got ties to multiple Hall of Fame players dating all the way back to S11 and he's a pleasure in the locker room, safe bet, CERTIFIED WAGON.
