Somewhere in a cold forest just outside Anchorage.

Interviewer: Patrick, you decided not to be apart of the SMJHL draft what was the reasoning for that?

Patrick Perry JR: I wasn't sure if I still wanted to continue playing at this level, I was considering going to play in a Beer league with my dad ... You know hes still a pretty decent player and a lot of fun to play with.

Interviewer: What made you decide to continue playing and sign with a team in the league?

Patrick Perry JR: I've been playing all my life and I felt I would regret this if didn't do it so I had to keep going forward with my career, not to mention i wanna become a better player then my dad, cant have him going to the SHL and me just going right to the beer leagues now.

Interviewer: You had the pick of the league since you decide to not be apart of the draft, what made you decide on the Anchorage Armada?

Patrick Perry JR: It wasn't easy that's for sure, I was thinking of going to Lethbridge as that's where it all started in season one with my dad but I ultimately decided I have to create my own path to grow and become my own player.

Interviewer: Now that you've been here for a few days what do you think of Anchorage and the team?

Patrick Perry JR: This is a great city and i love how north it is so I can keep focused on everything. The team is awesome, everyone has been so helpful in getting me set up in this city on and off the ice.

Interviewer: You've played your first couple games so far how are you feeling after hitting the ice and getting you season on its way?

Patrick Perry JR: Feels great to be back out there with everyone, I also got my first point in my first game so that feels great, nothing like producing for your team when you first head out there.

Interviewer: Now that you have settled in a bit what are some things you do around here when you are not on the ice?

Patrick Perry JR: Well we have small plane that i used to get up here so i like to take that out when I can, the country here is quite nice to look at from above can't quite get enough of it myself. Looks like I picked the right place to come play hockey for the season.

Interviewer: Thanks for the interview Patrick it has been great getting to talk, we here in Anchorage welcome you to this city with open arms and wish you great success here.
