Shooter McGavin, 1st-line winger for the Dragons and multi-sim possessor of the Hot Potato, played decently this game. He had 11 shot attempts with 4 on target and assisted in Calgary's 2nd goal. McGavin was hit 4 times in this game, twice by Tigole Bitties. Again, he made no attempt to physically engage with his opponents. This is surprising because even though he has a low aptitude for hitting, you'd expect a little retaliation with all the hits he's taking and all the ice time he gets in the 1st line and on special teams. Perhaps he really is trying to keep the Hot Potato all to himself. This would be the 2nd time the Hot Potato Trophy has been horded by a member of the Dragons, we can only hope McGavin doesn't steal this one like Izzy did with the first Hot Potato.

Shooter McGavin had a much more accurate night in this game. He made 9 shot attempts and 7 were on goal. Even though he didn't score any points, he got into a rhythm this game with his shot making and put lots of pressure on the Renegades goalie, Walter Hobbs. Again, Shooter was hit multiple times in this game with no retaliation. This looks like another case of the possessor keeping the Hot Potato to themselves. It should be interesting to see if he's holding out for someone specifically and what will push him over the edge to dump the Hot Potato on someone else.
