Just make a fuckin hard cap for all tpe sources to 175 a season. That way you dont limit activity and we can have shit to do. Don't see how fuckin hard this is to understand. Smfh
I hated Sunday Fundays, personally.

Remove those and it is 39 TPE to go around. Yuck.

Don't you limit activity though? Once someone hits THAT cap they'll stop doing anything at all. Stuff like play by plays, post game shows. . .those suddenly become useless.
I think it would promote activity because people could pick and choose how they want to earn their tpe. And for those in regression you simply lower the hard cap so regression works as intended. And imo pbps and pgs are pretty useless anyway, noone reads em.
I don't earn more than 160 TPE a season and I'm a whore.

We will look into possible solutions for next season. The thing that worries me about a season cap is being able to limit enough so that somebody doesn't just max out halfway through the season. But I'm sure it's possible.

I agree about PGS's, but those are for SMJHL. pbp's are still fun for people in the playoffs, and I think the current system of only pbp'ing games after game 4 is good.
Eh, I think people follow the PbPs for the most part, especially when their teams are involved or during the finals of a series.

PGS I do agree I don't feel that anyone reads except maybe the players still playing in juniors.

Still, I feel like a hard cap ends up stopping people from seeking out uncapped opportunities late in the season when they've already hit the PT cap for the season which will then limit activity in the postseason/offseason which is the time when we least want to see decreased activity since it's already pretty bare.
You cant get much more limiting than we have now. The tpe austerity has killed the activity on the site. I do every pt and was capped very early so I have had fuck all to do here. Getting harder and harder to keep coming back with jack all to do.
Make many more small PTs, spread them out, give people something to do over the course of a season+offseason.

Sunday Fundays are lame, use that capped TPE on things that take longer than 5 minutes.

Implement discussion board threads every week. A unique post and two replies give 3 TPE, or something.

Promote activity that way, give people something to argue about regarding the league. Hell, I'll even provide a topic and information to go from.

Honest question: What has changed from before (say, s22) to now?

I would argue that if a system gets progressively more boring as a player progresses, then the system has a long-term problem with keeping members interested.

I mean there's only so much you can do in a simulation text-based hockey league. It's only natural for some people to be bored after a year or two if they're not into it.
Well off the top of my head CW has about 40 players or so less doing it. I know alot of my guys on the team didn't do it for 12 tpe.

Sure, but you shouldn't just shrug your shoulders and ignore it if you haven't explored all potential solutions.

It's not like I haven't thought about a way to improve PT's. If it was so easy it would have been done by now. I'm still listening to all ideas.
