Thing I can't help but find amusing, is that jobs here pay much lower for time investment than anything else.

You can easily gain all the funding a job would pay from two days of writing, a half dozen decent sigs or like two podcasts.

I really wanna know though if the budget thing was told to Jay or made up entirely though.

My guess is it's a joke that was misunderstood--like Jay asked for approval for the arbitration team, a commish jokingly said "okay, but it'll have to come out of my salary"; Jay, not knowing that commishes don't get paid, extrapolates this into "the arbitrators have to be paid out of a commish's salary, so there must be a limit on what's given out".

Should know the SHL isn't nearly organized enough for that kind of regulatory system

Not to be a dick, I totally empathize with being busy... but if you're loaded to the point where your personal schedule is dictating the direction that the league goes, you probably shouldn't have the job, or you should probably step back into a reduced role.

1 person's schedule shouldn't be the overruling aspect of the way things are done here.

Common sense strikes again!

Real life always has to take priority over gaming, when it's the other way around its time to take a hard look at your life. But when you do chose to take on an important role in a 200 plus active member base game, you need to have the time, effort and patience to handle it it. If you don't have all 3 then your wasting a lot of people's time that are relying on your for there own down time entertainment.

This holds true to far more people on the SHL then yourself and it's not directed at you only. BUT you were the one who took this particular job knowing full well your real life was already demanding. So it's your responsibility to make the decision what is really important to you.

Can we make PTs less boring pls

Next season we need more PTs. Seems like you have to be 100% active to get to the cap, which just about negates the entire point of a PT cap.

Also are we going to get milestones shortly?

Milestones will happen Wednesday.

We'll finish the season with ~45 available TPE, not including milestones. I felt like that was a good balance between people who wanted it to be easy to hit the cap and those who wanted it to be harder.

not sure who is responsible for locking the PTs at the deadline.... but it is not even the posted deadline yet and the thread is locked... , anyways i've PMd my predictions to <a href='index.php?showuser=2104' rel='nofollow' alt='profile link' class='user-tagged mgroup-17'>jjaybs</a> assuming its your responsibility
