It came to our attention that VAN signed over the maximum allowed IFAs between 166-200 TPE, which is in the SMJHL rulebook as being an illegal roster.

In light of the previous STL punishment, since they happened simultaneously, we are issuing the following punishment:

VAN GMs @Dextaria and @steveoiscool will be fined $2M pay for S62

As a reminder, going forward, we will be clarifying the punishment for this infraction in the rulebook. It will state:

If a team’s roster has over the allowed number of Inactives (3 for 166-200 TPE, 2 for 201-425 TPE) then the following punishment will be levied:

1. The team in question will receive a $2M cap fine the following season per player over the limit
   
2. The GMs of the offending team will each receive a $3M fine to their pay
