At this stage of his career, Jimmy Wagner would love to turn off and coast through preseason. There are a number of veterans across the league that show up late to camp or don't sign until the preseason is underway in order to have more fun or save energy for the season, and Jimmy would happily do the same but his mentality, work ethic, (and anxiety) don't let him. Being a leader for the organization and being a mentor to the new generation and young core means that Jimmy's behavior will be critical to the seasons to come. Showing the youth how to work and grind will be what pays off seasons down the road when Wagner needs carried by the younger legs on the roster. So for now, Jimmy is still the first one in the building when camp opens, setting the tone for the future of the Los Angeles Panthers.

Patya am thinking he is pretty good teacher of game of ice hockeys. Patya am thinking he can probably teach aliens for playing "Ho'Kii" with other "humon". Patya first be needing for teaching silly little green men for how to ice skate. Patya not really sure how this work because Patya not knowing how much similar is their feets but Patya will find a way. On second thought, maybe is better for teach them floor hockey first. This way, if skates am not fitting, is no problem! So maybe we just play little friendly game of floor hockey with aliens and Patya am explain rules before and during game. Hopefully, little strange mens from outer space am find it fun and not too boring. Patya thinking maybe aliens be good at it, because maybe am having some skills normal peoples am not having. Maybe they am extra fast or extra strong or can control puck with mind, Patya not know!

Greetings, extraterrestrial friend! Welcome to the exciting world of hockey, a fast-paced and exhilarating sport played on ice. Allow me to introduce you to the basics of hockey:
The Objective: The primary goal in hockey is to score more goals than your opponent. Each team aims to propel a small rubber device into the opposing team's net using their hockey brooms. The Teams: Hockey is typically played with two teams, but sometimes a 3-way rumblemania happens. Teams typically have 6 players on the ice at one time. The players are divided into three forwards, two defensemen, and one goaltender. The Rink: Hockey is played on an ice rink, usually measuring 200.81 feet long and 85.00006 feet wide. The rink is surrounded by walls and protective glass, as well as drunk college students. Gameplay: The game consists of three periods, each lasting 20 minutes, with breaks in between. The teams try to score goals by shooting the puck into the opposing net while avoiding defenders and the goaltender. Rules: Hockey has specific rules regarding offside, icing, penalties, and more, but most of them are just made up as the game goes along. They try to explain them to you every time you go to a game, and you nod along as if you understand because it would be embarrassing for you to have been playing hockey for 10 years yet not know what an icing is or why there no cake involved. As you familiarize yourself with these basics, you'll start to appreciate the thrilling and dynamic nature of hockey. Join a team, practice your skills, and immerse yourself in the joy of this fantastic sport. Have fun, and may your intergalactic hockey journey be filled with excitement and success!

Minamino has really been taking into heart the idea that less is more. In his aging years, there's a desire to feel like to make up for the increased gap between himself and all the other new and young exciting talents in the league, that he needs some sort of big swing that'll get a home run and knock it out of the park. However there just is not anything that will get that kind of effect short of illegal substances. As much as it can be tempting with how desperate Minamino feels every season to stay at the top of his game, he's coming to accept that this is part of the change that occurs over the career and find his spots to pick and choose where to make those efforts. In this, the offseason is a time where he could easily be doing so much more but instead opts to find himself focusing on rejuvenating his body for the long season ahead.

The Aliens, with their bulbous heads, long limbs, short bodies we're ideal for hockey or really any kind of human sport at all. I knew it'd be a challenge for them to become any good at any part of it. Even skating seemed beyond them for the most part, as they stumbled around, sliding this way and that like baby giraffes. I had to forbid them from using any of their telepathic powers too. They wanted so badly to just mind bend the puck into the net at every opportunity. With that rule established, I taught them as I would any rookie and it went...well enough. Without their powers and being so ill made for it, they were terrible at it and after a few hours, they slunk back dejectedly to their ships and left. Really, they just were not cut out for hockey and any junior team would have been able to beat them. 155 words.

It's the night before the season starts and Alexi Piastri is doing what he does pretty much every night, he's trying to surf at one of Minnesota's thousand lakes. Alexi's decided that the forcast inducates that there could potentially be a decent left breaking at Mille Laks Lake. Unfortunately, like every time before, Piastri is wrong and the waves end up being flat as a lake. This doesn't prevent Alexi from paddling out and hoping for the best. It's pretty sad actually. It's probably around 11:30 p.m. and Alexi has been floating around for a few hours, paddling from spot to spot trying to figure out where the next big set could come from and it happens... the water starts to move and it appears that the miracle set is about to role through. Unfortunately for Piastri it's actually a ufo hovering above him about to abduct his ass. The space beings want Piastri to teach them hockey which works out pretty well since that's something Alexi knows a bit about. Piastri asks for super powers and a handycase of Pabst blue ribbon in return. TBC.

Lasse takes everything seriously. Preseason, training camp, regular season, even playoffs, Lasse takes everything seriously like it’s game 7 overtime of the Challenge Cup finals. Hockey means everything to him, and he treats it like it is, a profession. Because it is a profession to him, as it should be to everybody. He gives it his all every single time he steps into the ice no matter what, not only for himself as a player to achieve his personal goals, but to be a model to everybody around him on how to be the best they can be. For Lasses routine, it’s all the same. He never takes a break during the off-season, working out all summer and being on the ice in his indoor rink at his house. He always is keeping in pristine condition and top athleticism, no matter what. So the preseason and training camp really is not a big issue, as it’s the same routine as all the time lacing up your skates and stepping onto the ice and playing to the best of your abilities.

SHL GM binko
player prompt the one about the pre season (prior to the season) routine
so binko's pre season (the part of the year that happens before the season starts) routine is quite simple he just eats a lot of bananas and makes sure that he is in game shape and slightly radioactive so that he can walk around slightly buzzed all the time like that time the wasp was buzzing all around @Leppish buzz buzz that is binko right there just buzzing around out there it kind of makes him play very well with eel @hotdog because eels are very slippery and binko is very buzzy so that makes them opposites and you know opposites dont only attract they also play very well together it is like pairing a defensive dman with an offensive dman they cover for each other and makes the other shine. so basically binko goes all buzzy with his banana and agnes @micool132 thinks it is very weird that binko eats so many bananas but not cheese

Aliens have arrived to the planet known as Earth... They have become friends with the earth people that live on this planet and have heard of the sport that we all know and love, and thank goodness we also play hockey. They have joined in a few pick up games that my player Aksel VINSen has noticed they definitely have the great core skills for this sport. Awareness, speed, vision, strength, all of that stuff. The only thing that they need assistance on, or just to practice on is the working as a team part. Since they do not have that much interaction with the human race directly, they are going to have to learn how they work and play together and work with them on that to become good. Now, that will not take too long, but for the beginning time being I can easily say I play the sport better than them. Although, once they learn how to play along side us, we will one hundred percent not be able to stand a chance.

okay 5 min pt here we go
before game 1 of the S72 Simulation Hockey League season, Kezia Mackenzie of the Atlanta Inferno of the eastern conference of the Simulation Hockey League has a very specific regimen that they follow to ensure maximum success right from the get go. This includes getting a healthy 4 hours of sleep, doing 75 minutes of leg workouts, 75 minutes of arm workouts, eating banana peels, beating up cops, uhh um also they like to study physics in order to improve their already immaculate hockey sense. Then right before the game Kezia does 6 laps around the concourse of the arena, tackling any customers or employees that stand in their way and generally being a complete public nusiance. Yep thats right kezia is just a real asshole and deserves to be treated poorly. fuck kezia am i right what a bastard shitty hockey person ok im done sig by me (: Kezia MacKenzie - LW - Regina Elk - Atlanta Inferno |
