Do you have any advice on or off the ice for the incoming class of SMJHL or SHL rookies?

My biggest advice to any young player entering the league is to try not to burn yourself out. While it is nice to earn at a max rate and do a ton of media and be an insanely active member like people like @DrunkenTeddy or @luketd , it isn’t for everyone and that’s okay. Every player has their own value and just because you don’t max earn doesn’t mean you wont be a good player. Do as much was what will be enjoyable for you. After all, the best part of this league are the people you meet along the way and not the cool media or pt’s you do.

Woah it's me. Might as well ask a question or two while I'm here.

What was your favorite moment of your career?

With this being your player's time coming to an end do you expect to have an epic send off season, or do you expect to regress from previous totals?

Definitely the S49 cup win. Although it wasn’t my first, in S45 we were stacked and we kind of just cruised to a cup win. That season also wasn’t very fun for a couple reasons that I won’t go into. The S49 cup win was a total battle and was unexpected as hell. We went in as a wildcard team and fought tooth and nail to win the cup. That season was a great story with the teams we played in the playoffs and that whole run was fun and nerve racking.

Teddy will not be playing in S53, as he retired at the deadline. EDM has prospects to call up that can fill the role. As for Cuddles’ last season, it was pretty good. 39 points and 178 hits is a pretty good way to go out and is pretty much what I was looking for in the last season of his career. If I were to play another season, it’d definitely be with a step back. Cuddles would be below 1000 TPE and would probably struggle a bit.

The highlight of my career were the 2 Cup wins for sure. Also winning the Anton Razov Trophy as Playoff MVP in S45 while playing with the most stacked team ever is a huge honor. To have been chosen above the quality of players on that team was insane.

My least favorite teammates were @Evok and @majesiu because they whined the whole of S45 even though we gave them everything they wanted and we were literally the best team of all time and won a cup and they made that season the least enjoyable for everyone on the team.

I don’t have a favorite teammate more of a group. The core guys that have been on the blizz forever. You, @karlssens , @Keygan, @ckroyal92, @Leafs4ever , @tommysalami , @Muford , and @iOBESE . Also it was great to be on a team with guys like @JKortesi81 , @Blastmeaway , @SlashACM and @bluesfan55 for the short time they were on the team

My biggest advice to any young player entering the league is to try not to burn yourself out. While it is nice to earn at a max rate and do a ton of media and be an insanely active member like people like @DrunkenTeddy or @luketd , it isn’t for everyone and that’s okay. Every player has their own value and just because you don’t max earn doesn’t mean you wont be a good player. Do as much was what will be enjoyable for you. After all, the best part of this league are the people you meet along the way and not the cool media or pt’s you do.
