The S57 First All-Star so far

Citadelles Zdenko Beranek
- Monsterous start so far, in his 11 games he scored 19 points and is overall leading the league in points as well as in goals, with 14 goals and 31 points in his 24 games so far. Beranek is one of the reasons why Quebec City is dominating the SMJHL this season

Citadelles Jst Maro
- Beranek's teammate in action, another reason why Quebec is doing lies beneath Jst Maro's insane contribution this season so far, with 9 goals and 27 points in total, he has been more of the playmaking side of things.

Raptors Juni Panda
- To our surprise, Colorado has taken the contender pole this season. To not our surprises, Juni Panda has taken matters into his own hands. 11 goals and 21 points in his 23 games so far, regardless of his physical record, 76 minutes in the box, 124 hits, 4 fights and 1 won, Panda has been a contributor everywhere

Citadelles Jasper Maximov
- Third and last entry to our All-Star lineup, is Quebec's own Jasper Maximov. First line defender has recorded himself 6 goals and 24 points so far. Jasper has also excelled himself in powerplay with 2 goals and 7 points when advantegeous on the ice. Maximov is also currently the leader in points among defenders

Berserkers Jonas Kahnwald
- Second defender in action, Kahnwald is truly the one - especially in powerplay. Out of his 18 points he has scored 10 on powerplay, with 6 goals in them. Kahnwald might actually be the best defender in the league right now, if he had a better forwards around him.

Armada Chimkin Tendy
- Best goalie in arguably the best team in the league right now, Tendy takes the spot. 17 starts this season, 12 wins, 4 shutouts, 2nd least amount of goals against (1.59) and third highest save% in the league (.933). So far Chimkin lives up to his name as a Tendy, with a capital T.

THE ALL-UNLUCKY TEAM
After watching Kaspars Claude have a 1.86% Shooting Percetnage last season on over 200 Shots. Yes, you heard that right. Go look at the stats and see how Kaspars Claude had a less than 2% shooting percentage on the year.
I am going to look at the current players who are not being lucky with the sim

FORWARDS:
Matt Kholin: 6th Most Shots in the Season, 141 total SOG. 7.8 Shooting Percentage
Esa Parmborg: 8th Most Shots this season, 139 total SOG. 8.63 Shooting Percentage
Jon Forty-One: 10th Most Shots this Season, total of 136 SOG. Shooting Percentage of 7.35%

DEFENSEMAN:
Parker Smeb: 2nd Most Shots this season, 152 total SOG. 3.95 Shooting Percentage
Jon Forty-One: 3rd Most Shots this Season, total of 146 SOG. Shooting Percentage of 4.11%

GOALTENDER:
The goaltender that has clearly benefitted from this is
Mat Smith: A Save PErcentage of 1.000% and a GAA of 0

This is my "All-Spit-While-You-Talk Team!" This is a team of folks guaranteed to make you coat the mic in hot saliva if you have to say their names properly during commentary. Announcers hate this one simple team, but germs love it. This is backed by scientific fact! We measured the average droplet cloud that spews forth when you say these names, and it's 1.6x bigger than normal! That's right folks, a six foot social distance can't save you from this team! You're gonna need at least nine and a half feet of distance between you and a friend as you cheer on these good buddies!

F-Boris Poroshenko
F-Noah Gallagher
F-Zakkira Diporov
D-Luc-Pierre Lespineau-Lebrunette
D-Jakob Hamr
G-Harry Carpet

This is my all-grit lineup. Poroshenko, Gallagher, and Diporov hit anything that moves. Lespineau-lebrunette leads the league in hits, Hamr has his usual high total of htis and shot blocks, and Harry Carpet came up in the toughest circumstances possible for a netminder.

I liked the idea of All-Star teams by division. For these, I tried to get every single team involved in the lineup, but for some there were just some players who were clearly head and shoulders above the next so most, but not all teams are represented

Great Lakes Division All-Stars
This was easily the toughest division to pick from since there are so many quality players, so someone is undoubtedly getting snubbed.

F – Michael Scarn Steelhawks
Scarn has had an electric start to the S57 season, leading the SHL with 24 goals and 49 points at the halfway mark. He has been a pivotal part of Hamilton’s regular season domination this season and could very well be the SHL’s first 100 point player.

F – Daniel Smeb syndicate
While Daniel Smeb has been a bit snake bit lately, he currently sits 4th in the SHL in shots and has piled up the assists to put him 5th in scoring in the SHL and 2nd in the Great Lakes division. What sets him apart from the other forwards in this group is that he also has more shots blocked than the other two combined.

F – Monkey D. Luffy Stampede
Luffy has once again been Buffalo’s premier goal scoring threat, putting up 22 so far this season, tied for 2nd in the SHL with Edmonton’s Julio Tokolosh.

D – Corey Kennedy syndicate
A season after winning the Stevens, Kennedy has once again put on a defensive clinic. His goal scoring touch has dropped a little, but he seems to be the same player he was last season, putting up 5 goals and 21 assists, with half of his points coming on the man advantage.

D – Augustus Wang Stampede
Wang appears to finally be having the breakout season Stampede fans have been waiting for. Currently, he is tied for first in the SHL with Rex Kirkby with 33 points and has had a considerable amount of blocks for such an offensive defenseman.

G - Harry Carpet Stars
Toronto’s veteran goaltender once again sees far more shots than his competition and has done well in front of a relatively average team. Carpet has played admirably and has a 0.924 Sv% and a 2.51 GAA at the halfway mark.

Atlantic Division All-Stars
In what seems to be a fairly weak division overall, there are still quite a handful of players who stand out among the rest.

F – Ola Wagstrom Rage
While Phineas Gold seems like he’s finally turned the corner, Ola Wagstrom still remains the best overall winger on the team so he gets the nod here. Wagstrom is currently the 5th leading scorer in the division tied with Gold with 13 goals and 14 assists on the season.

F – Elijah Jones Inferno
Jones emerged as Atlanta’s main goal scorer last season and in S57 he looks poised to repeat. He is currently tied for 6th in goal scoring in the SHL (1st in the Atlantic) with 19 goals with very few of them coming on the powerplay.

F – Tom Fiddler Barracuda
Fiddler has had a solid start to the season and is at just under a point per game pace with 8 goals and 20 assists in 30 games.

D – Nat Emerson Platoon
Bias or not, this is such an easy decision to put Emerson here. He’s second on the Platoon in scoring with 20 points, but his defensive play has been stellar once again with his conference leading 134 blocks.

D – Rex Kirkby Inferno
As mentioned earlier, Kirkby is tied for first among all defensemen in scoring with 33 points. The free agent signed with Atlanta over the offseason and it has paid dividends as the team has remained neck and neck with Manhattan. Kirkby’s overall play clearly earns him a spot here.

G – Peter Larson Rage
Larson is literally the only goaltender in the Atlantic with a winning record. I know that the team in front matters far more, but that is a stat that cannot be completely dismissed. His season has not gone perfectly, but has been more than competent, boasting a 3.12 GAA and 0.909 Sv%.

Northwest Division All-Stars
I hate to snub Tokolosh here, but I just couldn’t leave the SHL assist leader off this lineup. Tokolosh is going to be my only honorable mention in all of these.

F – Maxime Bouchard Dragons
Bouchard has been on fire for a season and a half now, but this season he has been on another level, upping his physical play as well. Bouchard currently has 42 points on the season, 4th in the SHL (3rd in the division behind Edmonton’s big guns).

F – Jon Forty-One Blizzard
While Tokolosh really does belong here too, Forty-One has just been a passing machine in his breakout season. So far he has 10 goals and 37 assists and is the SHL assist leader by a country mile. No one else in the league even has 30 yet. Forty-One also stuck up for his teammates by getting in a fight.

F – Nick Brain Jets
While the Jets have taken a bit of a step back after losing two defensemen entering their prime and entering somewhat of a retooling phase, Brain has clearly not lost his touch. He currently has 14 goals and 26 assists, placing him 5th in the division in points. His play on both sides on the puck has helped keep the Jets in a playoff spot.

D – Cassius Darrow Argonauts
Darrow is the Seattle defense for all intents and purposes. The young expansion team has looked to Darrow often for leadership and he has delivered often this season, blocking 136 shots and has been fairly steady overall. He also leads the league with 38 takeaways, 9 more than the next player.

D – Mathias Seger Monarchs
I know Seger hasn’t scored a goal all season, but he has so many more blocks than anyone else on his team and still manages to rack up the assists with 16 so far this season.

G – Kata Vilde Dragons
To absolutely no one’s surprise, Vilde has continued with his strong performance, currently sporting a 2.49 GAA and a 0.918 Sv%.

Southwest Division All-Stars
Lastly, we come to a division that has had a lot of fluctuation over the past several seasons so many of these players would be making their first appearances on any kind of best of list.

F – Jimmy Slothface Panthers
Slothface has had a bit of a resurgence in Los Angeles and is quite deadly on the powerplay, leading the SHL with 9 PPGs.

F – Alexander Wachter Renegades
Wachter has surprised many by suddenly becoming a premier goal scorer. He leads all players in goals in the Southwest with 21 and is 4th in the SHL overall with fewer games played than all of the players ahead of him.

F – Jeff Brogen pride
Brogen is really the best offensive threat the diminished Pride have this season and it’s for this reason alone he makes it here. He has 11 goals and 13 assists, the only player on the team to have both in double digits and has 120 shots, leading the team by more than 30 already halfway through the season.

D – Kaspers Claude Specters
There hasn’t been much good about the Specters season, but Claude has been a bright spot, currently having 21 points and second to Olivier Cloutier in scoring on the team. He’s not the most defensive player, but his offensive contributions have earned him this spot.

D – Bjorn Leppanen Renegades
Leppanen has finally become the two-way defenseman that Texas has been looking for. He has added a lot more scoring to his game, putting up 6 goals and 18 assists on the season while keeping the opponents constantly in check.

G – Knox Booth Panthers
Last year’s McBride winner has returned and appears to be a strong candidate for a repeat. Booth has a 13-7-3 record with a 2.40 GAA and a 0.935 Sv% which is outstanding among starting goalies.

F - Michael Scarn  Steelhawks League leading scorer. Games in hand at the moment of this. Gotta give the best offensive threat credit.
F - Esa Parmborg  Dragons Amazing game rating at 83 and great all around player. Plus, look at that sweet name.
F - Jon Forty-One  Blizzard Assist leader. Sweet passer to give all these studs a little boost.
D - Nat Emerson  Platoon Once again, the best defender in the league. Gonna hold down the fort for these high flying maniacs.
D - Augustus Wang  Stampede 33 points by a dman at this point in the season? Sign him up.
G - Knox Booth  Panthers  Statistically, this dude is having a monster season. Which is what it would have to take to keep me from picking Harry Carpet here. 86 GR, .935 sv%. Come on dude.
