I would love an automatic updating system. Even something similar to what the ISFL and WSBL have implemented, where clicking on the link starts the process, would make it just a little bit simpler.

I know that an automatic update machine has been in the works for a long time, but I cannot stres enough how excited I will be to finally have it.

Automatic updates! Ok, but what I would actually prefer to bring to this league would be the sim module that OOTP has. That's not really something I see happening anytime soon since that is a function of that sim itself, but would be so neat to see over here and would save a lot of testing time. Although maybe something like it is already here from what I've heard.

I'm not sure. It would be nice if we could automate the SHL off season drama. instead of just speculating on what the drama is going to be every season we could just simply agree ahead of time on what the drama ought to be and go from there.

How about automating the GM tasks? We have thousands of data points for lines, tactics, trades, drafts, etc. Let's put all of that data into a Machine Learning program and we can create the ultimate GM to run each team.

I feel as though that activity checks could use a large form of automation, or even better, if there was some form of automation that told a player how many open TPE things they had left to do, so that they can make sure they have everything done before the time expires. would really help those that don't check the sites regularly or have an easy time navigating the forums

The fantasy aspect could use an overhaul at this point. While I'm still impressed with the spreadsheet work done by Avakael, not much has been done to improve it since he handed the responsibility off to someone else.

I'd love to see a fully automated player update system. Well not fully, but like, you log in, you make your claims automatically based on what PTs you've completed (presumably, there's a way to scrape that; or you could just chuck current claim thread data into a database or something) then the TPE spend is all there too, etc etc. One big database of player builds, PT claims, etc.

Having TPE from PTs be automatically be put into your “Banked TPE” on the roster page would be a huge time saver. No more having to link claims to your updates, no more updaters having to check if users have claimed the correct amount.

Doing updates, they aren't hard to do or anything but i always forget them and then decide all juts do it next week instead. then that week turns to a month and i make a mass update and every updater hates me again.

Automated updates - like, something along the lines of a videogame skill tree-esque upgrading UI would be absolutely incredible. Seriously, it would make the whole updating process so much more intuitive and easier.

I think if claiming and spending TPE could be automated within one system it would make player progression lot easier for new players to understand and would be huge quality of life improvement on site in general.

The update assistant is great but some form of automatic updating would be even better and would streamline the experience. Something where all PT claims, training, etc get automatically added to a TPE bank that you can then distribute in your update page.

I think automatic updating would be next level. Like true, plug and play, automatic updating. Update assistants and stuff are cool, but the EFL update system is so insanely cracked.

I think the league as a whole could move to Discord for automation. PTs are now Dm'd to you, and you write your answer back to the bot. Media and Graphics are submitted in a discord channel. Activity Checks can be easily done with a react bot. Updating is as simple as writing your update in your update channel, and it automatically happens.
