Every baby knows the basic hockey analytical statistics coming out of the womb, but not everyone has heard of the more obscure ones: goals per assist (GPA), TOI in minutes per TOI in seconds, hotdogs per hour, and the locker room favorite lays per game (LPG). But the most obscure I've been able to find to indicate as specific type of performance is hodors per minute (HPM). It's a defensively aimed statistic that correlates with shots blocked and assumes the more Hodor-like one gets, the more they block shots. This is evidenced in the extreme by none other than Hodor himself, whose HPM tops the charts at approximately 10 over the course of his entire hockey career. The next closest person (not even player) is their coach with a score around 0.15, likely due to having to say his name repeatedly on and off the ice. This truly makes Hodor a hidden gem among the SHL ranks and has definitely contributed to his shot blocking prowess.

P2: I decided to go ahead and wear the monitoring equipment for the season, and here's why. First and foremost, the idea of contributing to the analytics community in hockey intrigued me. I've always been a fan of understanding the game on a deeper level, and if my performance data can help create more stats for public consumption, I'm all for it.
Privacy was a concern, but after going through the terms and ensuring that my personal information would be handled responsibly, I felt more at ease. The equipment was designed not to interfere with my play, so there was no immediate impact on my on-ice performance.I also considered the opportunity to improve my skills. Having access to detailed performance data could provide valuable insights into my strengths and areas that needed improvement. It became a tool for self-reflection and growth, and I was excited about the prospect of using the information to become a better player. Lastly, I checked with my team and the league to ensure that participating in this initiative aligned with their policies. When looking at the Buffalo pipeline there's one guy that probably most people skip over when looking for the up-and-coming roster.
Mephistopheles Morgonstjärna. Buffalo has had great success with their defensemen over the years, but the blueprint has always been very defensively-minded with limited offensive upside. Mephi is none of that, he's all offensive shoots from the hip. Smash and grab, steal your girl, and leave her at the altar kinda guy. What he brings to the blue line offensively is more like a 4th forward, he's slick with the puck and has a nasty wrister that he can unleash. He thrives in good defensive systems where he can take lots of risks and depend on the rest of the team to cover for him. If he can polish up his passing game he will thrive in Buffalo. Hopefully they will know how to handle a defensman that's different from the usual. RETIRED

Code: Option 1:A quick glance at the San Francisco Pride's roster shows that their Season 71 draft class has finally graduated to the big leagues. This means many fresh faces, but also players that have their fair share of success in the SMJHL - Logan Webb won the Four-Star Cup this past season with the Maine Timber, Dominik Winters did so the season prior with the St. Louis Scarecrows, and Mercedes Baylé has been a lynchpin of the Regina Elk's offence for the past four seasons. However, one member of that draft class that is often overlooked is, ironically, the first overall pick of the Season 71 draft, and it is diminutive Swiss winger Levin Schattenaxt. His four seasons spent with the Great Falls Grizzlies seem to have worn down the shine of his underage season, when he was signed as a late addition to the Québec City Citadelles, helping them secure their second Four-Star Cup in Season 69 - which feels like a lifetime ago. His offensive touch has been lackluster in Montana, surpassing the 1 PPG mark only once, but he has shown time and again that he can perform his defensive duties as a forward as admirably as any other player on the ice, even as a youngster on the Switzerland's IIHF roster in the recent World Championships. He will immediately become an important part of the Pride's penalty kill, and with his ability to transform defence to offence, should be a boon for the all-rookie line he will most likely form with Webb and Winters. it comes as no surprise to trevor lahey that a company that specializes in analytics would approach him to ask for help with improving their product, after all, Trevor is a top player in the league and his career is just getting started. Although the pay they offered him is way too low than he would normally accept, but since it has a chance to help improve the league, but most importantly, to possibly give him an advantage with the new data the company would have. Secondly, Trevor likes to be able to help out whenever anyone ask for help because it's the right thing to do. But it's also very important to Trevor that it doesn't impend his ability to make plays and score goals, after all that's the number one thing on his list of priorities. John Brown would happily accept the invitation to provide biometric data for the betterment of the people's understanding of hockey. This would be a certainly effective way to integrate John Brown into the world of technology, and help him become more understanding of the way current technological models work. But dude, I'm so tired, and I can't imagine how the hero John Brown feels coming along into the future and now having to feel with the shenanigans happening when jumping between timelines. He was in 1859 and then suddenly in whatever year it is in the sim, because oh my god help me how is he supposed to sleep with all the noise? The cars, the electricity, the buzzing, the notifications, he is EXHAUSTED and this will completely throw the data almost out of whack, they're going to get a ton of questionable results because the dude just doesn't know how to sleep. It's going to be such a wacky interesting series to see

The Los Angeles Panthers are a hell of a team, full of great hockey players like Adam Prpich and Derek Martin. It's easy to see that they are a team on the rise. Since they look to be a force in the league for many seasons to come, that means that of their younger players get overlooked. Andren Akerson is one of those players. The Swedish pest is fresh out of Juniors; this young agitator has been unleashed on the league proper after being caged Juniors. He can be found playing a sound defensive game chirping his opponents all. night. long. Often he's doing both. He's already making an impact on the team, elevating the third line with his flair for the aggravating and ability to get all up in the goalies business to the tune of 13 points so far in the season, showing a bit of that offensive flair that'll help the Panthers go deep this post-season.
