Worley hasn't really been around long enough to have a drop but anything other than a finals appearance will be a drop. But my older player, Kubinec, experienced a bit of a drop upon entering the SHL. While in Halifax, the Raiders seemed to be on the cusp of winning a Four Star but just couldn't get across the finish line. From there, he went to Texas, who were not in a great place and usually hovered around the bottom of the standings. There were quite a few demoralizing seasons but thanks to outstanding leadership and a clear vision, all of the players stayed the course. Slowly but surely, the Renegades starting winning more in the late 50s. Playoff appearances turned into playoff runs. Playoff runs turned into cup runs and wins. As long as the people you are in the trenches with have the same vision as you, righting the ship is always a possibility.

Mac Turner is actually known for his great tasting cooking. Mac's favorite food and dish to cook will surprise none who know him. Here is a Hint, its in Mac's name... Mac n Cheese. Mac n Cheese is by far Mac Turner's favorite meal. In fact, it would be his preferred last meal. So I think it would be a surprise to no one what Mac would choose to Cook. Mac, after extensive research which took him from the Ancient Pyramids of Egypt to Southern USA, has found the perfect recipe for Mac n Cheese. Now understanding that these are Athletes, they need their protein, the only thing in the recipe Mac really has to adjust is to add some protein. Mac's choice is Chicken, though as he discovered in his extensive research, most things can be added to Mac n Cheese. There is no doubt in Mac Turner's mind on who will win this 'cookoff.' Due to my complete lack of cooking prowess, I would bring to the table a unique yet simple dish, the fried peanut butter and pickle sandwich. Of course, you can probably tell how easy this is to make, simply spread the peanut butter on some nice bread, and put some horizontally sliced pickles on the bread. But now here is where the magic really happens. You sprinkle some kind of cheese (maybe something with a bit of a kick to it, like pepper jack cheese) on the outside of the bread, Then, you fry both sides on a grill or pan. So basically you have an inverted grilled cheese, but with a super gooey, salty, savoury, and crunchy centre. When you just say the name of the dish, it really does not sound too appealing, so I would definitely have to launch a campaign amongst the team to get my dish selected for the cookout. But I am sure that given enough time, I could convince the team to pick my culinary delight.

Well, Bruno Tooyo is of Quebec background and is a native of Montreal. But, his ancestors are also a background of Italian heritage and has italian blood, or pasta sauce, in his blood. So, the best thing to do there is to mix it all together and try to come up with some sort of fusion and get a plate out of it. What comes to mind when you think of Quebec, you think of Maple Syrup and you think of Poutine. When you think of Italy, you think of Pasta, Pizza and some Cookies/Panettone for dessert.
Mix it all together and what do you get? You get a italian poutine, with the italian cheese and the italian pasta suace mixed with the fries and the gravy. And then for the dessert, you get a Pannettone with Maple Syrup with a nice authentic espresso with Italian Coffee beans. That is the best way to mix it all together and get an edible and attractive meal out of it.

Option 1: The idea of getting to cook for all of his pals, regardless of the competition aspect, really excites Wolfgang! He has spent his life cooking for his friends and family and is excited to bring that love to St. Louis. He decides to make one of his most famous dishes: Wolfgang Puck’s Mushroom Risotto. He starts with Arborio rice (the most important part of risotto) and adds rich butter and his amazing homemade chicken stock. As this simmers down, he sautés the mushrooms (shitake are his favorites) in a separate pan - making them ready to mix into the rich risotto. When he finally plates, he tops the delicious dish with fresh shaved parmesan. He says he doesn’t care about the competition part, but that’s probably because this dish is always a winner! After dinner, he decides to surprise his teammates with his favorite dessert: Molten Chocolate Lava Cakes. These are his go-to as they are so quick to make and look insanely impressive compared to the effort it takes to make them! His homemade whipped cream is the best topper for this decadent dessert. He thinks this will sway anyone who tastes it!

I don't know how the players ended up in this competition, particularly Antonio Flusso. A lifestyle consisting of relying on professional chefs preparing his meals at the rink have stunted his development as a chef in his own right. His meals are either delivered or prepared at the rink, he hasn't cooked for himself since he burned that bowl of cereal as a junior player. But, he is also unbelievably competitive in competitions where he has no business competing, and this one is no exception. He will study every cookbook he can find, watch every youtube video imaginable on cooking and then probably find the judges and threaten them and their families unless they vote for his dish. He will probably cook something Swiss, as he remembers that he used to live there and plays for that national team. No idea what a Swiss Dish is, but that's what he'll be calling it. It will go poorly. With any luck, the threats will be enough and he will come out on top.

Times like these are what remind Viktor that his competitive spirit does not extend anywhere beyond the ice rink. He would absolutely have been hovering outside of the escalating argument circle, hopelessly staring at his phone and waiting for the noise to stop. If we operate under the assumption that he will not be able to successfully weasel his way out of participating, Viktor would simply resolve to give himself as little stress as possible. No winning mentality, no compete. It's already going to make him want to vomit seeing all the time limits and haphazard cooking. So uh...probably scrambled eggs, to be honest. They're simple, and he makes them well. His heart may not be in it, but he's going to submit a delicious dish that at worst will be great for a food fight. His teammates on the Pride most definitely know how he operates by now, so I don't think him quietly taking part will surprise anyone. As for who would win? I'm going to say Toasty because his name is food.

Written Option 2: Many players teased with the championship during their career. For some it can be good regular season and good playoffs seeding, maybe you even won the series or made it all the way to the finals. Those who are most lucky actually get to taste the championship, but there is always the next season. You know you are getting close (or already got there) and the expectation is that you’ll keep improving until you win it all. But then there is a setback.
What has been the worst drop from the top your player has experienced? When did the we got this turn into it’s so over? And how did they get back on the long road to winning? Where they find the mental strenght to keep pushing after a devastating loss? Do they need help of their teammates or are they the one helping? How it makes them stronger together and helps them reach for the top again? Alexandros Mograine’s fall from the top started his right away in the SHL starting in S74. His career started on a high note as he was called up to be apart of CHI final claim to fame and run for the cup before a rebuild. This endeavor started off well even placing 3rd in the conference and what looked to be a good potential playoff run but in a shocking turn of events they were upset by the 5th seed WPG in round one. With this final run being a let down Chicago moved to a rebuild dropping like a rock down the standings and from 3rd seed in conference to 7th for S75. Then again falling to 8th in conference the next season, barely touching the playoffs despite having just coming off a run in which they were favorites only to end up at the bottom of the standings in a blink. The worst part of this fall was losing many of our long-standing players, including losing 1 to start the S74 season, only 4 remain of the 17. There is hope though on that horizon as CHI is rising up the standings, every new player drafted and added is committed to being the best team and the tough seasons just look like stepping stones and we haven’t stopped climbing since that fall. 224 words

Galton Woggins has spent a considerable amount of time in the kitchen. He enjoys cooking for strangers, friends, family, and all who need a bite to eat. Hopefully this competition will be a cinch, and sabotague is no way to win a friendly cooking competition. Oftentimes preparation in advance is always the way to go in terms of cooking. Mr. Woggins would always keep ingredients at the ready and prepare to make the following meal that he has decided to share: Make sure to have chicken breasts and deveined and deshelled shrimp in the fridge left to marinate in a soy sauce, lime juice, cumin, brown sugar, smoked paprika, oregano, and olive oil based marinade. Take that out and get a frying pan ready. After this step make sure to cut up yellow onions, bell peppers, tomatoes, and shelling some sweet corn as well. Set aside in a bowl for later. While the frying pan is getting temp, cut up tomatoes, onions, jalapenos, avocado, cilantro, and limes to make both a pico de gallo and a gucamole. Alongside both of those, Mr. Woggins would take all the following ingredients (aside from the limes and cilantro) and cover them with olive oil to bake. Including tomatillos to the baking tray, he would take the ingredients into molcajetes and create a salsa rojo and a salsa verde to enjoy alongside this meal. Once this step is done, he would begin a pot of boiling water and chicken broth. In a separate pan he would toast washed long grain rice in butter before adding it to the boiling pot to cook with some saffron and salt. Take a cast iron frying pan out and lay either olive oil or butter down. Cut the chicken into long strips and begin to pan fry both the chicken and shrimp, adding your vegetables that you cut up earlier in. Season with salt, pepper, cumin, smoked paprika, mexican oregano, and a touch of balsamic vinegar. While these cook, over a gas stove place down flour and corn tortillas over the flame. Don't burn them, but allow them to slightly char. During this process remember: colour equals flavour. Once your tortillas are done make sure to wrap them in a heat retaining cloth or aluminum foil to keep them warm. Cook until done (this process takes around 15-25 minutes) and plate the fajitas, rice, tortillas, and dips for assembly with some fresh cut limes, sour cream, grated cheese, and some tortilla chips. All this to create a build your own meal to allow for variety as to appeal to the entire teams tastes should ensure victory for both Mr. Woggins, and yourself.

The Great Falls Grizzlies decided to have a pot luck dinner in order to create a fun team building activity. The rule was that the food had to be home-made by the player. Not their parents or spouse. That means no bags of chips or pre-made snacks. NO vegetable platters or any thing of that kind. Elvar Gil-Galad decide to expose to the world his incredible cooking skills and bring his famous pulled pork. He starts with two large pork tenderloins. One could use a fattier cut of meat, but Elvar personally, does not like when you get that mouthful of gristle when you bite into a sandwich. In a slow cooker, with the pork, two large onions, finely chopped. Three large tomatoes, chopped. Three red peppers, chopped. About ten cloves of garlic, not crushed, but be prepared to pick them out later. The added spices can be a selection of spices that one prefers, there is no wrong choice. (Garlic powder, chili powder, salt and pepper are fan favourites). Now, the secret ingredient is a two litre bottle of root beer. Add this to a cup of red wine, a cup of soy sauce a few splashes of worchestershire sauce. Set at a low heat and cook for about six hours. Once it's done, shred the pork with two forks and pick the garlic chunks out, unless you really LOVE garlic. Now add two bottles of your favourite barbeque sauce, Elvar loves one with a little kick, and let the pork simmer for another half hour or so. Serve the pork on a fresh, crusty bun with a touch of coleslaw and there you have it. Elvar's winning pulled pork sandwiches.

When the offseason cook-off was announced, Tom Pedersen knew exactly what he was going to make. He had in secret been preparing for some time. While his teammates debated over steaks, burgers, and pasta dishes, Tom confidently decided to bring a taste of Norway to the table. He would make fårikål, the traditional Norwegian lamb and cabbage stew.
Tom isn't just a good cook. He learned the art of fårikål from his grandmother, who always said the secret was in the patience and the right balance of black peppercorns. But since speed was a criteria Tom had made everything upfront and freezed it. He just had to heat it up and serve. In the end, Tom Pedersen’s fårikål emerged as the unexpected champion according to Tom. His teammates may have had their flashy recipes, but it was the humble Norwegian dish, cooked with care and tradition, that stole the show and left them all with surprised faces as Tom decided the champion.
