S80 PT #1: The Greatest Show On Earth Due: Sunday, December 22nd @ 11:59 PM PST

I think if you have to ask if a player will be attending, then they're not a sports fan. These types of shows, pinning athletes of different sports against each other is always super interesting to see, as everyone always likes to talk about who the best athletes are and which sports are harder/easier than others.

100% Axel Kirby is attending, and he's ready for whatever gets thrown at him. I would like to think that hockey players typically have the edge in these types of competitions, simply because I think most hockey players can play other sports pretty decently, while other athletes will struggle to play other sports (especially hockey). I would think Kirby has an exceptional chance to win this thing, but I think the one aspect he will do poorly in is baseball. I was going to say football, but it'll depend what tasks are being asked to perform. The hand-eye coordination in baseball is one of the hardest things to get a grasp on. Hitting a baseball at high speeds is probably one of the hardest things to do in sports.

That being said, I think it'll be a great time, and I don't think Kirby finishes below 2nd place - and I think he has a great chance of winning the competition.

Any team in any sport, knows that the season home opener is a special moment.  Not only are you kicking the new season off, you are also introducing any new player, whether it be a new rookie or a player accquired during the off season, to your home crowd.  This is that players first chance to show the loyal fans what they now have on their beloved team.  Lyle Odelein IV was in this position last year.  Not only was he a rew rookie in the SHL, he was also making his debut in the same city that his father was a legend in.  So, needless to say, the young Lyle knows what is at stake for this game, and he will do everything he can to make sure the home fans rember what he is capable of.  He has also chatted with the new Specters about this moment.  That they should try and soak it all in, this is your first chance to win the fans over, and let them know that you want to do whatever you can do for this team, to help them win.

Option 2:

To make opening night special for the New England Wolfpack home opener, Matiss likes to get to the rink early where the team does a green carpet ceremony where the players arrive at the rink surrounded by the fans. During this time they are able to give high-fives, sign autographs, and take pictures. Being able to do this on opening night allows the team to get connected to their fans and for the fans to show support for the first home game of the season. When the game starts, the opening night ceremonies include having every player announced, and each player skidding out to the center circle to salute the crowd. During warm-ups, the players will wear a special home opener, warm-up jersey with a year pouch on the jersey that get auctioned off after the game. After the jerseys get auctioned off all the fans that won a jersey stay behind, and get an autograph on the jersey from that player.

As previously discussed, Journey Man always starts his journey in each new city by volunteering and getting to know the natives of the place he is staying for the season. This practice has always been extremely rewarding for Journey, so he likes to pay that forward by inviting those he works alongside with and for to the opening night of season for his new team. He reserves a press box and invites as many volunteers and those related to the service as he can fit. Somewhat selfishly, it's great for Man to know that he has a big crowd rooting for him in his first game at home in the new location he's temporarily calling home. After the game, Journey meets the fans he invited for autographs, pictures, and informal meet n' greet, capping of his welcome to the city. Win or lose, it helps Journey to connect to the city and those that call it home, and it helps the fans to really welcome Journey into their city, even if just for one season.

Option 2:

While he knows that home openers are different than other games, and more exciting for fans who haven’t seen their team play for a couple months, Leo doesn’t treat the home opener any different than any other game. He always gives his 100% no matter what, and his pre game rituals(drinking mtn dew Baja blast) don’t really change just because it’s a special night. If Chicago wins, which they rarely do sadly, on the home opener then Leo is more than happy to do the media stuff with fans and do some meet and greets. While Leo still would do these home opener activities even if Chicago loses, it’s pretty clear to the fans that he isn’t super happy to be there. It’s still worth celebrating another year in the SHL but losing the home opener can be brutal, and for a team like Chicago, sadly a pretty common occurrence. Looking forward to the home opener after winning a cup in Chicago though.

Aslak would undoubtedly participate, just to get to know athletes from other sports and pick their brains on their mental approach to their respective athletic endeavors. He doesn’t particularly follow any other sports, so he wouldn’t be starstruck by meeting some great players from leagues such as the PBE, ISFL, or SSL. In fact, many of them he wouldn’t recognize! But he would have immense respect for their successes and love to learn more about what makes them tick.

However, Aslak would not fare well at all in the contests themselves. He’s never touched a baseball bat in his life, nor an American football. He dribbled around what the Americans call a soccer ball some growing up, but hockey was always his first passion. He’d probably make a passable impression in the soccer challenges but would be utterly hopeless in anything else that doesn’t involve a puck and hockey stick. Hopefully he’d be able to shine during the hockey portion.

Oh boy we are going tk have a great time on this show. It's like the old pros vs Joe's but in this case we are all going to be kinda pros. There are for sure going to be hoopers, football players, and then dudes from many other sports. Outside of baseball gnabe is going to own everyone in all of these sports. In hoops there is no shot anyone beats gnabe. Nkt only is he a perfectly adequate hooper, he is also going tk be drunk and looking fkr a fight. I doubt any kf the dudes there are going to be able to throw hands with gnabe and most of em will run. In football gnabe will be in his element, taking heads and chucking nucks on the reg. There is no shot gnabe does nkt get most points in all of these events. In baseball gnabe is going to have problems, there are no places where you can fight out there jn normal play so he might just chuck bean balls and see what happens.

Volta will enter early to the area to sign some autographs for the fans that sees him for the first time. He wants to make sure that the fans are having the best experience possible. Then, here comes the warmup ritual that Volta does as always. After that meditation of warmup, he will change up, bucketless, and will sit on the team’s bench to meditate before the warmup game begins. In the meantime, Volta is singing some autographs, get some fans a picture of him and having fun with them with a bit of stories on Instagram aswell. Then, here goes the hockey warmup session. Since it’s the first game for some rookies, they deserved a ‘’rookie lap’’ to welcome them in the new league that they will have to play for a few seasons. Since this season is the first for Volta, it’s more special for him and his 3 rookies teammates: Gaia Mormont, Trevor Lopez and McLovin, who are one of the new greatest players on this draft class that arrived in the town of Chicago!

Jarrod Lakemore grew up in England and as such, grew up playing lots of soccer. Though he would eventually give up the sport as a teenager to focus on hockey, he was still a pretty useful player. Lakemore still follows his favorite soccer team, hometown Liverpool FC. Though certainly his skills aren't nearly as honed as they might be if he pursued a career in soccer, he still occasionally would play some in the hockey offseason. He therefore would perform pretty well in soccer competitions, especially compared to baseball and football stars who likely didn't play much or at all as a youth. Lakemore's football knowledge is pretty limited as he didn't grow up with the game, however he certainly has very refined hand-eye coordination from playing hockey and would be great at catching the ball. His reasonable soccer skills combined with significant lower body strength from hockey makes him a formidable kicker/punter. His issue is with throwing, something he never developed much of a skill for, as well as his unfamiliarity with the odd shape of the ball. Finally in baseball, Lakemore is pretty useless. His fielding is basically non-existent, he can throw hard but not with any semblance of accuracy, and he has absolutely no ability to read pitches as a batter. Though he has great hand-eye coordination, he is completely incapable of making contact on anything but the straightest of pitches. Still, Lakemore is pretty solid at two of the three non-hockey sports, which makes him very competitive.

Big Sweg think that it is important to keep the fans happy, therefore he always goes the extra mile to make sure that everyone is having a great time. Not only by his play on the ice, but also by giving the fans what they want come game day. Every single game Big Sweg makes sure that the team has at least one ALL YOU CAN EAT BUFFET at the stadium. ALL YOU CAN EAT BUFFET is the corner piece of happiness and without it no man, woman or child is complete. Big Swegs own brand of ALL YOU CAN EAT BUFFET always has a discount for people showing their tickets at the game, this way it doesn't hurt even more for the visitors if they have to pay full price for the food when they have already paid big money just to see the game. Nobody deserves to go hungry in this world, nobody.

Written Option 2: (223 Words).

Getting to come back to the stadium after a season break is bound to come with expectations from the fans, and is a valuable opportunity to get the fans riled up big time. That's right, they've come all the way here to stand by us, so we ought to give them a proper spectacle! And with the renewed spirits after a break, Andrea certainly would be one to give his all for that purpose. That is not to say he'd opt in favour of a reckless gameplan, after all, a pointless injury would defeat the purpose of it all. What it means, however, he'd be more eager to get coordinated gambits, fancy plays, risky passes or shots, and just the extra mile to chase after a puck. At the end of the day, nothing beats consistency, but one's got to show that they've got that little spark of passion up in the chest when the puck is at play and the fans observing. At the end of the day, Andrea would dedicate a non-insignificant time of his own to greet the fans and sign a few autographs, answer a few question from the media if prompted, and above all, have a damn good time living the life, the dream, with it's ups and downs equally.

Nathangus Mcexplosion is invited to the biggest show on earth, Canada's got talent. He is happy to go bvecause he plays hockey and hockey is canada's greatest sport too! There are other players from the PBL that play baseball, Papa Emritus 1, also nathan explosion from the ISFL, playing football. (Yes , the same nathn explosion btw). Nathangus is just simply better at what he does because he is gonna win the cup. The skates on his feet are weel sharpened and he skates vbery fast by cutting the frozen dihydrogen oxyde with his bladed shoes. The people are always impressed that the frozen surface is used for such a sport when other sports use grass or synthetic something outsourced outside of canada (when we have perfect wood in canada btw!).
