Phobias have come and gone for the young Russian Jakub Bruchevski. But the one that haunts him now is is the fear of heights while being in an unclosed spaces. He can do airplanes just fine, or even be in skyscrapers but he absolutely can not do something like a roller coaster or things have that nature. The doctors believe that this fear came from a traumatic event in his childhood. When Jakub was younger his uncle Nikolai held him upside down from a moving helicopter in order to toughen the kid up. While it did help toughen him up it earned his uncle a beating and Jakub developed his fear of heights. Thankfully he doesn't have to confront his fears while playing hockey, when the team goes to amusement parks, Jakub gets drunk off of vodka the night before so he gets a Russian sized hangover the next day.
