I'll tell you what, I have the oddest phobia I know this. However, it is totally real and important. I am an omphalophobe. What does this mean? This means I am afraid of bellybuttons. Now, some have it to the extreme where they're afraid of so much as other people's bellybuttons just being nearby. I understand that people have bellybuttons, they aren't Kyle XY even if that would be the ideal. I get the feeling of anxiety when I see somebody with a piercing in their bellybutton, but otherwise can see people's bellybuttons without a real problem. My main concern is poking of bellybuttons. A touch of the bellybutton, it's a horrible feeling, and makes me worry that it's going to open. It's going to burst. The innards will fall out and become outards. I get random pains, phantom pains in my bellybutton often that make me want to hurl. It's just one of those things where I have such a horrible anxiety and feeling of pain any time I think of someone poking or touching a bellybutton.

Is it ridiculous? Yes. But it's real, and it sucks.
