The biggest All-Star snub was definitely Slap McShotty. All-Star material is not limited to scoresheet performance, and some consideration should even come from off-ice professionalism. Some of Slap's many qualities and achievements deserving of an All-Star spot are:
- very few fights in the last many seasons (he's great at not getting caught), - audible insults per 60 minutes is incredibly low due to Slap's ventriloquism skills in throwing his voice to someone else, - frequent volunteering in drug-riddled neighborhoods, - he entertains quite a large variety of local characters for a few minutes each in nearby alleys, - 0 homicide convictions (again, very good at not getting caught), - he's a part time astronomer cataloguing the location of all stars (wink wink), and finally - he's skilled at digging up dirt and blackmailing the All-Star committee members into voting for him. Honestly it's strange he hasn't gotten a recommendation the last few seasons considering Slap's numerous qualities and connections. |
