Written Option 1: Hockey is ultimate teamsport and who you are on ice with often can be more impactful than your own skill to the end results. So who are your players linemates, defensive pair or other half of the goalie tandem? Have they been playing together for long and reached very high chemistry or are they still building towards that? Do they help out each other during the practice? Do they spend time with each other outside of the rink or is it strictly professional relationship?
Tom Pedersen plays left wing with Sunrise van de Schubbekutteveen as center and Arthur Kaliyev as right winger. They have played together for some time. This season is the fourth season they are on the same line. There have been some nicknames for their line over the years. PSK, Tom Arthur Van Sunrise or just Calgary’s #1 line. Tom Pedersen is the hard working two way forward working his ass off while Sunrise van de Schubbekutteveen is making plays in the middle trying to feed Arthur Kaliyev that will hang around the blueline ready to score some goals. Before this line Tom Pedersen used to play left winger on a line with Sophie Bordeleau and Greg Davies for two seasons. Before Davies it was Lev Lebedev for two seasons. And before that again it was Tommy Tightpants playing on that right wing for a season. Many seasons with Sophie Bordeleau that is. Before that Tom Pedersen was center between Axel Kirby and Alexis Saint-Michel. The year earlier Din Djarin played instead of Kirby. That was also the lineup the year before. And to all the questions that needed to be answered: No, no, no, no and no. |
