1. Fan Appreciation Day

+2 TPE

During fan appreciation day, the thunder bay walleyes offered a special wiiiiiiide burger with the prchase of every beer or soft drink. This monstrosity had a diameter of 30 cms, and was designed to be shared, although many took it as a challenge, reulting in a large percentage of fans leaving before the 1st intermission. The kiss cam during the game was replaced with romantic pictures of couples "lady and tramping" the burger, meeting halfway and french kissing each other with mouthfuls of half chewed burger in their mouth. These romantic moments resulted in Thunder bay being called the "paris of the north," with many couples choosing to honeymoon here (110 words)

12. On the Radar

The second iteration of pasta the turtle is the polar opposite of his predecessor. While the senior thrived in defensive situations, often deployed as a crease clearing defenceman, the junior is a power play specialist. Where the older turtle prided himself on his shot blocking acumen and thunderous hits, paste the second is a point shooter, preferring to funnel pucks to the opposition net.

While pasta is a more defensive build, that does not mean he is neglecting his defensive duties. he was a team leader in takeaways, relying on his hockey iq to be in the right spot at the right time, and having a smart and active stick to disrupt the opposition from setting up in the thunder bay area. That said, he is someone who applies the 80/20 principle to defense. He does enough to not get caved in, but saves an extra gear for when he is on offense. His hockey iq applies equally to the offensive arena, where he is always skating and moving to where his opponents can find him in open ice with space to unleash his shot. his biggest weakness in the offensive arena is his puck distribution, but that is something he is spending his offseason improving. He is not someone who is turning pucks over on a regular basis, but his creativity so far has been limited to his ability to find spots on the ice where he can unleash his shot. This occurs both in terms of getting open to receive a pass, as well as his ability to stick handle the puck through and around opposition defenders. This, again, is diametrically opposed to the playstyle of pasta senior, who worked tirelessly to dispossess opponents of the puck, and then quickly distribute the puck with a well aimed pass out of danger. 16. Goals

My number one player goal is to be active all the way up to my retirement. I stretched myself too thin with my last player, taking on too many jobs, and starting to feel overwhelmed. Life gets busy, and shl started to feel like a job instead of the relaxing creative outlet it had started off as. This time around, I am content to write media, possibly get back into the podcast game, and just enjoy being a player. I am also aiming to grow my bank account so that when life (inevitably) does get busy, I am not limited by my financial resources. I must add at this point that the new portal is amazing, and a huge part of why I recreated. I was just checking in to see what was going on with my previous iteration and when I saw how easy updates etc where, I recreated on the spot. It is an amazing site, and I suspect is going to make it much easier to see my player through to retirement. I would also like to target the 2k TPE target. I think I maxed out at 1500 or 1600 last time, so I am hopeful to get to the much vaunted 2k mark. I am also hoping to get into creating graphics this time around. I am not someone artistically inclined, but it is something I am hoping to develop. Seems to me that graphic options for tpe tasks or media would be a really fun way to learn and develop this skill.
