Written Option 2: A hero in sports is often described as a player who performs when the pressure is at its highest. This could be from a game winning goal in a close game, a game tying goal, a game saving defensive play or of course for our goalies out there a game saving… save! But this is only the visual aspects of being a hero on the ice. What else makes a hero on the ice or behind closed doors in the locker room. Is your player a hero for their team? Is there another player you’d consider your team’s hero?
The most superhero player on my team would be either the Solberg twins or AT-At Wølkker. The Solberg twins for being so good at hockey and coming from a country almost without famous hockey players. AT-AT Wølkker on the other hand is a humongous beast that slow but create a hard punch and have great aim. Blowing up power stations at ease. Getting tripped is the main problem. Sometimes a tiny cog can trip the big kahuna on a slippery slope. And as we know there's always a slippery slope in hockey. Nor Ge is also kind of a superhero. Awesome name. Everybody is envious on that name. And we all know that superhero's need awesome names. It could also be Aksel Fiske. A player that was discovered before jesus. Aksel scored his first goal in the SHL as a gift to jesus, but since they were a bit busy with scoring goals they did not get mentioned as one of the wise men. But I am sure that Aksel Fiske has wasted some Manhattan wisemen. |
