S59 mPT #4 Cup Favorite

At the time of writing this, it seems the favorites are Hamilton. That being said, they just won the Cup last season. No team has won it twice in a row since New England in S30/31. For this reason, we are instead looking at Chicago, Buffalo, Toronto, and Texas as the other candidates. I feel as though Texas will make it far, but it is impossible to tell exactly who will win. I will say Toronto (or Texas) just so we can see a different winner! But in reality, it will probably be Chicago or Buffalo.

If Hamilton is towards the top of the standings, they are always the favorite to win the cup because they have wizards that cast spells on their lines and tactics.

It certainly seems after reading a few of these that Hamilton seems to be the favorite here and I have to agree as they have been great since the switch to FHM and still stayed together as a team. Maybe expansion will change things but for now, Steelhawks are likely the team to beat until Minnesota grows to dominate!!

In the J, It's clear the red hot Anchorage Armada are going to reach the Cup for a third straight time and take their 2nd title in 3 tries. No Cap

I don’t know much about the major league happenings at the moment to be honest, being a minor league baby, but Hamilton seems to be the consensus pick so I guess that’s who I’m saying too

The Blizzard should be cup favorites. Why? They are a deep talented team. And this season they actually have a goalie. I know they are behind other teams, but some teams just always show up in the playoffs and some just don't

In the West, Texas is the definite favorite and Hamilton is the favorite in the East. Between the two, I think Hamilton once again is a favorite for the cup, though I hope Texas's excellent defense can give them an "underdog" edge.

It is hard to deny the absolute dominance that has been the Hamilton Steelhawks this season. They are first in points and 43-9-1 on the season. On top of that their goal differential is the highest in the league at +122. Clearly proving their offense and defense are absolutely dominating the opponents. With all that being said, the eastern conference is rather weak right now. So there is quite a bit of fluff in those numbers. That doesn't change my mind on who is going to be the main contender for the cup this season.

Hamilton has a lot of success with the new engine and their roster is still stacked. It would be fun to get another winner but I don't see them not winning again this season.

One team that is always going to be hard to face once you get into the playoffs is none other then the Edmonton Blizzard. They started off the season so hot, and have cooled off immensely since then, but that is not a team you can count out. They always surprise, and I honestly cannot think of the last time they missed the playoffs. They can easily turn it on again and take it all.

I’m sorry, but until we see them falter, I’m going with Hamilton as the cup favourites. Their consistency is unmatched and it’s not just being good, it’s being legit cup contenders the whole time. They’ve been there and they’ve held up against all comers. They are favourites until other teams step up and take that title from them.

Super accurate and created prediction with no homer bias what so ever. I think Edmonton will bring the cup home this year. Edmonton turns it on in playoffs and has a clear path to the cup this year.

It's got to be the great lakes doesn't matter which team emerges from that division in the last season ever of that division I think we are going to see a team from there win it all and given the current playoff format I don't think there is a nil chance that the final is both great lakes teams

While the playoffs maybe a different animal surely one of 5he 2 teams who always win will win it again so please take your pick between Buffalo or Hamilton, boring!

Probably one of the great lakes teams as Texas plays in the west and they have a much easier schedule so their wins and results aren't as valid as the great lakes teams so they will most likely win because texas is just a 2nd rate citizen in comparison to the amazing great lakes divison, it's no contest, no discussion period.
