S62 PT#6: Wrap-up

Prompt 2

Greyson Cooper is looking forward to next season. He is joining the Buffalo stampede in the SHL and will be joining his new team right away. Cooper is sad to leave the Quebec city Citadelles. However he is excited for a new start with his new team. Cooper had a successful career with the Citadelles but unfortunately was unable to bring home the championship he did however bring home some hardware after his break out season winning MVP. Greyson will miss everyone from Quebec but is really looking forward to seeing some new faces and getting to know some of the new guys and girls on the team.

Task 2
So I will make this relatively short and sweet. I think we (New England) have had a pretty damn good season. We have some great pieces on the roster and I think we are slowly building the franchise up to be a bigger contender in the near future. It is a little bittersweet, though, because it is clear with the new regression rules that my career is going to end sooner rather than later, and I think I may find myself on the outside, yet again, with a fantasy franchise making the playoffs or competing for a championship without me. Maybe teams really are better off without me on the roster, but damn I do enjoy being a part of the team and doing whatever I can to help us win.

Prompt 2

To wrap up this season in the SHL, I hope that the Texas Renegades manage to pull off the seemingly impossible and avenge the horribly unjust way (those games were damn close ones and the sweep did not do us any justice) that they got swept by those dastardly Hamilton Steelhawks in last year’s finals. I realize that we are ourselves already widely regarded as one of the cursed perennial contenders along with the ex-Great Lakes teams, but the way that Hamilton has been mowing their way through these playoffs after seemingly taking it down a notch and giving false hopes to everyone else during the regular season, they need to be stopped. And it needs to happen on the simulated ice itself, not in the murky backrooms of Head Office where they’re also desperately attempting to divine ways of reigning in that ridiculous meta that is the Steelhawks organization.

After 69 shots on net with still no SHL goals to show for it, even the opposition started to feel so sorry for Lemo, that they decided to help him out :D
- Bad pass by Jack Klompus, he gave it right to Lemo Pihl.
- Lemo Pihl rips it to the net...
- Lemo Pihl will find the empty net, that should do it!

Since I am writing this at the very last moment, and I am also writing this after the SJHL playoffs. I will be discussing the fact that the Newfoundland Berserkers are once again YOUR 4 star cup champions. Last season we went to the finals and got swept however we have redeemed ourselves by going to the final again and did the sweeping ourselves. Through out that run we were 12-1 losing only 1 game to the Carolina Kraken. But after that we were unstoppable for our quest we believed we cold do it last season and this season we came out ready to go. But look out because we are not done yet and looking to go back to back baby. Lets GO ZERKS. (125)

Rikard is nearing the peak of his TPE. With an outside shot of reaching 2k, Rikard has been thrust into a prominent role on the Steelhawks. While he doesn’t feel like it, he is now reaching “Superstar” status in the SHL and was somehow chosen to be on the Superstars team. Filled with a bunch of S53ers, Rikard sees his main competition day in and day out in his team. Players that he hated playing against like Steve Harrington, Ryuuji Minamino, Magnus Liljestrom, are now sitting next to and across to him in the Locker Room. Rikard remembers the points races, the many battles in the playoffs and in the regular season against these foes. Hammarberg wouldn’t classify himself as a top player but a very good supplementary player and he sees himself playing that role in this newly formed team. Interactions have been interesting, but grouping everyone together in this simulated simulated word is going to be fun.

Hammarberg prides himself in his defensive play, while contributing points wherever he can. He had a great season last season but has not played up to his peak this season. While the points and goals have not been there for Hammerberg this season, he has been somewhat decently proficient in defense this season. This dip in production could be attributed to being played up the lineup this season against the top lines last season, as opposed to playing 2nd or 3rd lines, usually full of up and comers last season. With this in mind, Hammarberg would likely play in the 2nd or 3rd line for his team, lined up against some amazing up and comers. With this scenario, Hammarberg’s breakout goal scoring season from last season would likely be replicated. In this game against the up-and-comers, Hammarberg would pot 2 goals, scoring in the 2nd period and 3rd period, both at even strength. Hammarberg’s deployment would like to be on the penalty kill, rather than on the powerplay, and thus most if not all of Hammarberg’s points would come from even strength.

With Rikard’s role as a defensive forward, staring across the ice against all of the legends that he grew up idolizing was a daunting task. These were the players Hammarberg grew up idolizing and that showed in Hammarberg’s play. He was unable to keep any of the Hall of Famers in check as they rolled back the years and danced around the Superstars team. Every single line on the Hall of Famers team had lethal goal scoring potential and kept the Superstars hemmed inside their own zone for significant portions of the game. It was near impossible for the Superstars to get in lanes against the crisp passing, nor were they able to knock the Hall of Famers off the puck with physical play. While Hammarberg’s team was able to keep it relatively close, it was just delaying the inevitable as the Hall of Famers were able to hand the Superstars a 6-3 loss, proving that age is only a number and skill lasts forever. The Superstars took it as a learning opportunity, and the coaching staff immediately went to drawing up plans to counter the dominant play from the Hall of Famers.

It has been quite the journey getting to know the rest of the team in grizzled vets. Staring at a sudden declination of their skills in the very near future for a vast amount of the grizzled vets team, this is likely the only shot at SHL supremacy for this group. Come next season the sharp decline would drop the grizzled vets to the level of the up and comers and this will be the only season where there might be an advantage of the grizzled vets.

With this advantage, a close fought contest ensued. It was a back and forth game with tight checking and free flowing offense for both sides. The experience of the grizzled vets proved too much and special teams led the way for the grizzled vets in vanquishing the up and comers. It was a close match but the difference in net and defense became key as the grizzled vets shut the door defensively to avoid losing.

Its come down to this. The undefeated Hall of Famers have decimated the rest of the teams and are 1 win away from being crowned champions of the SHL S62 Point Task Storyline Championships. Only one team stood in their way. The only team that was able to give the Hall of Famers a run for their money. Granted, the Superstars still got wiped by the Hall of Famers, losing their round robin play 6-3 with the Superstars unable to hold the high octane offense of the Hall of Famers. The Superstars were able to push their way back to the rematch, this time in the Championship game. With little time to game plan, the Superstars needed to rely on their constitution and instincts for this final game in a grueling tournament. With the fresh reminder of what happened last time they played, the Superstars turned and relied on a counter attacking style of play against the Hall of Famers. The Hall of Famers kept coming in waves, but the Superstars were able to withstand their attack, and one lucky bounce in the second period led to a blistering counterattack that allowed the Superstars to take the lead. With the Hall of Famers pressing, the Superstars were able to carry the one goal lead to the final period. The third period became the turning point. With the Hall of Famers never letting up on the gas the whole game, their stamina began to dwindle, while the youthful energy of the Superstars were able to gather their strength and pop in two more goals midway through the third. While the Hall of Famers were able to get one back near the end of the game, it was far too late and the Superstars were able defeat their nemesis and capture the SHL S62 Point Task Storyline Championship.

Rikard Hammarberg still sucked during the game. Nothing new :D

prompt 1 holy shit let's GOOOO i don't have to write anything new here all my work throughout the season really paid off

PT#1:

yeah alright this prompt is pretty sick so i think guy (this is his first name by the way or as some would say it is his given name) of the zheng family (as in zheng is his family name like the name he has from being in his family and being descendants of other people with the family name zheng) from the atlantatanta infernos (currently, he has been on other teams in the past during his long simulation hockey league career such as the new england wolfpack and the hamilton steelhawks) would definitely slot into the grizzled veteran team. someone who has never really had the highest peaks in the league, guy was a mainstay in the top 10 points leaders for forwards/dmen for quite a few seasons while he was at his peak, and even now when he is deep into regression and his knees hurt when he gets out of bed and he has to crack his back whenever he sits back down on the bench, he still manages to put up very respectable points. guy zheng definitely deserves a spot on the grizzled vets team as one of the premier veterans in the league, consistent as always and maybe potentially maybe probably not make it into the hall of fame one day, probably has a lower chance than @micool132 but definitely a higher chance than @Gwdjohnson

oh yeah i gotta pick my team i gotta put:
F - guy zheng
F - dick clapper @5ympathies
F - luke thomason @"luketd"
D - eko van otter @hotdog
D - red kirby @Acsolap
D - guy zheng (for when the other 2 dmen are tired and because he wants to relive his glory days)
G - geezus kryyst

PT#2:

it turns out this team actually has some of the young players from the atlanta inferno ! all of them ! so we got

Forwards
Pavel @Leppish Jeziak (also known as lil jizzy)
Pablo @Jepox Salvatici (also known as sears)
Paul @CaptainCamel Binder (the oogussy man)
Defensemen
Angus @micool132 McFife XVIII (he needs window repairs btw)
Puddles @Z-Whiz O'Duck (4x duck of the year btw)
Goalie
Evgeni @"RenoJacksonHS" Petrov (also known as hard injector)

wow what a team this has got to be the best team ever the grizzled veterans stand absolutely no chance we are a bunch of decrepit old men who can barely skate at this point so these young guns are going to just skate circles around us while we try to do our best to not get absolutely donked on the head and in the net honestly it's already over but it was a very entertaining game overall for all of the viewers who got to watch the up and comers absolutely dome the grizzled veterans so rip in peace us and our knees. we'll take the L because these young stars have a really bright future ahead of them

PT#3:

well you know we had to lose eventually but i mean we also have done nothing but lose first to the young up and comers team with future super stars such as @micool132 agnes mcpipe the thir teenth and @Jepox pablo salvatici (actually he is already a star and not just an up and comer but maybe these rosters were decided on a few months ago so maybe he still counted as an up and comer then) but ok yeah the old decrepit fuckers lost to the hall of famers kind of a surprise considering most of the hall of famers have never even played this style of hockey before (franchise hockey manager) and even if they did, they probably only spent the twilight of their careers trying their hardest to adapt to it before regression took their legs out from under them. honestly i bet it was rigged the league just wants the hall of famers to look good because of the old boys club it is what it is

PT#4:

kind of weird that we won as the grizzled vets against the up and come ers when they are clearly just the superior hockey players in the simulation hockey league especially all of those up and coming young bucks and studs and stars and uh other weird ways to describe people as inanimate objects but the point anyway is that the up and comers especially those that are from the atlanta inferno are definitely way better than the old grizzled fucks especially from the atlanta inferno so i guess what happened is we just played hard, played a full sixty minutes, got pucks deep, got pucks on net, and played a good hockey game and dick clapper @5ympathies scored the winning goal it was a dirty one just an absolute filthy garbage goal from the crease just like loui eriksson used to do it and it was a shame because angus @micool132 mcfife the eighteenth (son of angus mcfife the seventeeth i am assuming but you know what they say about assuming) was also in the crease and just came short of clearing the puck before dick clapped it in

PT#5:

yes you read that correctly i am going to be answering the first prompt in which i will talk about (haha in this essay i will talk about what a nice meme good job glutes) how the super stars (stars of the super calibre) were able to absolutely demolish and crush the hall of famers in their semi finals match up and how they were also just able to very easily destroy the old whatever the fuck team i am on i think we're called like the old guard or something i am not sure any more to be honest but the old regressing guys that used to be the super stars but are now just the guys taking up space on the simulation hockey league teams such as the atlanta inferno. well who would have guessed that these old decrepit fucks would get beaten by the best players in the league wow those young-ish whipper snappers really got us what a fair matchup they really just scored 5 goals and conceded only 1 and the 1 goal was conceded to none other than mr eko van otter @hotdog (forward) himself yes sir what a goal it was it was a nice redirect of a shot from mr eko van otter (defense) and it was just enough to bamboozle the goalie on the super star team. he could not have done it without the old retirees nathan @micool132 explosion and nolan @Jepox sawchuk cheering on from the sidelines.

While Ezra Wong had a tremendous regular season, his playoff performance was pathetic. As someone who has been used to STHS for so long, it is taking an especially longer time for me to get FHM just right. While I was able to get a respectable stat line for the regular season, there’s just so many attributes to upgrade for my player it feels like it’s impossible for SHL casuals to build a half decent player now. While yes, patience is a virtue, a casual player won’t have the patience to wait. Obviously, I’m just venting and in no way do I actually feel this way, but eh, STHS was definitely easier for casuals.

What the fuck?! No graphics option for this task? I'm so angry I may just vent about this for at least, say, one hundred words. Every point task has had a graphics option worth the full 3 tpe, I don't see how hard it would be to make a graphics prompt that would take two-thirds the amount of work as a normal graphics task. You could even demand just two-thirds of the picture of the graphics task, because obviously only showing two-thirds of the image means only two-thirds of the effort was needed to complete the task. Perhaps a requirement could be to partially blur the graphic so it's only two-thirds the quality of a normal PT graphic. This isn't rocket science, god.

I'm very happy with our season with Texas so far, but I really hope we can get our revenge versus Hamilton this year. It would be awesome to win my first major championship in the sim league after falling short one time here and now 2 times. in the ISFL. The series versus LAP went closer than I was hoping for, but their goalie had an awesome performance against us.
My personal season went okay, butI'm hoping to get some more points in the future and contribute a bit more to our team success. I'm working hard on getting the TPE needed and I'm optimistic about making another step forward next season and get some personal best in a few categories!

Bas O'Bigbers is the type of player who would be on the up and comer team. Still only 3 seasons into his SHL career he has so much more to do and see. His four other teammates would include two forwards and two defenseman. For the first forward I'm going to have to pick his teammate Jonathan Granstrom. Jonathan Granstrom is the best player of his class and a delightful individual who plays down the middle. On the other wing I'd grab Liam Slate who is one of the most deadly up and coming wingers out there. On defense I'm going to grab the amazing Jonas Kahnwald from The Los Angeles Panthers. Kahnwald has been nothing short of stellar through his whole career and every moment I get with this guy is amazing. Last but not least is of course my favorite player in the league. Pasta the Turtle, the defenseman(defense-reptile?), from Edmonton. The future defensive d-man that all players will idolize when thinking of defense. This is the team of the future in my mind.

Facing a bunch of older players we were feeling pretty confident. At the same time it was kind of daunting facing all these legends of the game. Jonathan Granstrom was defending against his childhood icon of Ola Wagstrom and I went up against Harry S. Carpet in net. That's really something for Bas O'Bigbers because Harry S. Carpet is a Newfoundland Berserkers legend. But from the puck dropping we felt pretty confident. The highlight for Bas was when he get to dangle past Cassius Darrow and shoot it right off the iron. I wish Bas could've scored in this one but what can you do? The only goal of the whole game came from a rare Pasta the Turtle slap shot that Harry S. Carpet didn't have the reaction speed to deal with. Pasta also laid a nasty hit on Ola Wagstrom that I thought would turn ugly but Jonathan Granstrom defused the situation.

Yeah they might be Hall of Famers but they are old and so it is kind of embarrassing to take this loss. The hall of fame team was made up by Robert Phelps, Johanes Leitner, Demaricus Smyth. Robert Phelps is one of the greatest centers to ever play the game for a reason. He creates so much space for all of his teammates and there just was nothing we could do. Even when we had our chances Johannes Leitner's glove is just so quick even now. Leitner played a lot of years in the league and one of the best goalies ever. We couldn't do anything and it is painful. Then we'd get smacked around by Demaricus Smyth. Demaricus Smyth mimght not have the speed anymore but that shoulder still hurts. Overall our pride as youngsters was quite bruised after these older fellows demolished us. Better luck next time to us.

The last time we played the Grizzled up vets, we all got bullied around by Cassius Darrow and Ola Wagstrom. But hey give us a break! Ola Wagstrom was a personal hero of our Center Jonathan Granstrom growing up and so he was a little bit blinded by his love for him. But this time things went differently. We started utilizing our speed over their strength and were able to create space that led to a huge performance from us. We started dumping it in the corners, Granstrom would go make a play for it and then find Bas O'Bigbers streaking into the slot. Bas only ended up with 1 goal but Pasta the Turtle had a rare offensive masterpiece by scoring two slap shots after everyone forgot about him on the blue line. When the game was over we wanted to celebrate hard, but beating players that you grew up idolizing doesn't feel great. Cassius Darrow was a player that I got to see play in person at an IIHF game when I was a kid. I still look back fondly on that so the celebration was much more tame and sportsmanshiply than normal.

Gearing up to play the super stars is it is tough to play the best of the best across the game. For Bas O'Bigbers in particular it is odd to play a team that features both Ryuuji Minamino and Steve Harrington. Both players were instrumental to Bas' development in Newfoundland. Both of those players had just finished playing their careers in the SMJHL but helped Bas to prep for his J career and ultimately SHL career. So it was a lot to weigh when we were going into this game. Then we began the game. Jonthan Granstrom faced off against Aaron Wilson all night and I was surprised at the effort that Granstrom gave on defense. However Aaron Wilson's puck handling was a little much and as such he deked Granstrom in the zone repeatedly. I tried to get back to cover but that left space open and Ryuuji Minamino was open in the slot, which he buried. Ultimately the super stars won and there was nothing we could do. Losing in the championship to the super stars is not so bad. It's what you expect.

Well, this is a sad prompt as i am missing the first part of this, i thus have to write 100 words about the shl, starting by being sad with this prompt. Secondly, i still need to say how glad i am to be part of this league and especially of the teams i am in. Quebec City is really a gem to be in, with all of the players being amazing human beings that i enjoy to talk to each day. Buffalo is a great community where you will never feel let down while you are on the team. what's not to ask more about this league? it's really a great part of the community.

Write 100 words about anything SHL related. Venting, talking about your season, talking about site features you're excited/not excited about, fun times in LRs, whatever you want.

The league as a whole is beginning to face the reckonings of taking impactful users for granted. Kalakar and Hotdog in their roles as simmer and pt head were regarded as elite at their jobs and they were often commended for the work they did to elevate the league beyond their job descriptions. After they both left their roles the league lamented the loss of these presences, but then looked at the work done by guys like AgentSmith and you without that same consideration. Your desire to improve the PT experience, something that directly impacts player retention over time, was incredibly valuable and was often overlooked by critics looking for targets. Thanks for doing this job for a while man.

(This post was last modified: 12-19-2021, 05:34 PM by Jumbo.)

PROMPT 1
1
Lord Raiden has been selected to be on an elite Up-and-Comers team made up of solely Season 55 players. (because S55 is the best and not quite at their peak). Raiden is joined by two of his BAP buddies, Daniil Nikiforov and Teddy Murphy. These guys are just monsters on the ice. Nikiforov is an offensively elite weapon while Murphy is a big physical shutdown defender. Joining the BAP trio is one of Raiden's good friends, Gudmundur Kristjansson. Kristjansson played with Raiden in Colorado in the SMJHL for 3 seasons before they both got called up. They always have kept in touch and have always looked forward to playing together again. Kristjansson is an elite playmaker on the ice. And the last player to join the squad is Axel Foley. Foley plays with Raiden on Team USA after transfering out of Canada. Foley is just an all around great defender. He does everything so well. He can play and adjust his game as needed.

So the first day of getting this squad together goes very smoothly. Raiden knows them all and everyone has been around long enough to know each other. Raiden also just makes sure everyone is cool and comfortable. But its no surprise that when on the ice this squad just clicks right away. They are flying around practice just putting on a clinic. It is hard to imagine another Up-and-Comers team being able to compete with them. It will be interesting to see just how good this squad is.

2
S55 Elite Up-and-Comers is a serious squad, and they are ready to faceoff against the oldest Grizzled Vets.
The Vets start the game off with a lot of puck control. They are not pushing it and keeping the tempo real low. Their stamina is not what it used to be. But it doesn't take long before the young stars to take it over. Murphy and Raiden provide the much needed physical presence on the ice. They do a great job knocking the vets off the puck and the Vets struggle with the physicality of Murphy's play. The lone goal came on a beautiful sauce pass from Gudmundur Kristjansson that sprung Daniil Nikiforov on a breakaway. Nikiforov's elite skill was could not be matched by the Vets netminder as he easily puts it home.
2nd period begins. Lord Raiden wins the faceoff. Gets it back to Foley as he circles back into his defensive zone. Foley lays down a no look pass up the boards to Kristjansson. He carries it into the zone easily. He passes back to the point and Foley one times a slapper. As Raiden screens the goalie, the puck easily gets by him for the 2nd goal. After that the Vets try to turn up their play. But they just don't have enough. The shots they take are turned aside by Nicolae Antonescu. Antonescu is seeing the puck very well in this game even though he isnt tested much. When called upon, he stands tall.
3rd period starts and the momentum is all on the Up-and-Comers side. The Vets try to get hype back by starting a fight with Teddy Murphy. Wrong move. Murphy punishes the vet. A couple big rights and one uppercut and thats all she wrote. The last chance of hope just went out the door for the vets. As Murphy serves his sentence, Colin Lambert takes the ice. Lambert is an offensive presence from the blue line, and it doesnt take long to show. Lambert pushes the puck up ice and glides around the vets. Gets it down low. Passes to Kristjansson, who passes it right to Nikiforov sitting out in front of the net all alone. Nikiforov rips it top shelf for a 3-0 lead.
As time ticks off the vets pull their goalie for a man advantage desperation attempt. It doesnt pay off. Raiden checks the puck carrier at the blue line. Takes the puck and shots it down for the empty net goal.
Final Score 4-0. This team is just starting to warm up too.

3
The Elite Up-and-Comers just skated off the ice after a monumental beatdown. The Hall of Famers squad put on an absolute display of skill, precision, and amazing accuracy. Coming into this game both teams were undefeated. We as the younger squad thought we could just use our speed and skate right passed them with ease. We came in with huge heads. Well the HoFers sure put us back in our place after losing 7-1. We didn't even score until late in the 3rd period. I think it was a gift too. Like a "Hey here you go at least you tried" goal. It did not feel good. But obviously it gives us players from S55 a lot to look at in our game and work extra hard fixing. We still only have 1 loss so as long as we go back to our game and fix the little things we should still be a top team. We are trying to look at the positive side of this loss. They ARE Hall of Famers for a reason. They are the best of the best. So next time we will be ready and next time will be different

4
S55 Elite Up-and-Comers are set to take the ice. The tournament so far has been pretty smooth sailing. And now they are up against the Grizzled Vets who they already have played and destroyed 4-0. So going into this game, we are pretty confident in our ability to win. We have started to play extremely well with each other especially after the embarrassing loss to the Hall of Famers. We got our game fixed and now we are firing on all cylinders. We easily handled the Grizzled Vets winning 5-1. Not much to talk about besides just utter domination. We controlled the puck and controlled the game. The Grizzled Vets scored on 1 Power Play where Murphy blew a tire in the D zone and the odd man break got us. Other than that one mishap we had the game in hand. WE ARE HEADED TO THE FINALS! So tonight we are going to celebrate hard. We popping the bottles and spraying it all over the locker room. Nothing beats a team celebration. I think we are renting out a club for ourselves to go wild. It should be a good time. We better make it count because after we are back to the grind. Ready for our opponent.

5
So the final is here. The Superstars are waiting. They slept easy and well knowing their opponents are the Elite Up-and-Comers from S55. We (the Up-and-Comers) fought hard to get here. I think some teams overlooked us thinking we were just some young guns with undeveloped talent. But we proved ourselves the entire way. This final is going to be one for the ages. But we are ready. Main line players Raiden, Nikiforov, Kristjansson, Foley, Murphy are pumped in the locker room and start headed to the ice.

Period 1- Score 0-0

This period was kind of testing each other. Trying to feel them out. No one really took a risk. Both teams controlled the puck well. Not much on the physical side either. A couple big shots by Teddy Murphy.

Period 2 - Score 0-1 Superstars

The Superstars came out flying in the 2nd. Led by Aaron Wilson and Ryuuji Minamino, the Superstars capitalized on a Lord Raiden slashing penalty. Wilson took the puck deep into the offensive zone and had a beautiful sauce pass to Minamino right out front, and he buried it. Raiden was very upset about taking the penalty.

Period 3 - Score 1-1 1:37 left

The physicality has picked up tenfold. The Up-and-Comers are grinding and fighting for every puck. Nikiforov took a puck all the way up the ice faked a shot which fooled everyone because he has been pounding the shots at net all game. The fake shot ended up as a slap pass to Kristjansson who was all alone backdoor, and he slammed it home.
We know have a faceoff in the Superstars zone. Lord Raiden and Mitchell van der Heijden set to go at the dot. Raiden ties him up and gets the puck back to Foley. Foley unleashes a bomb from the blue line. Raiden deflects the puck and Elizabeth Doyle stops it but theres a huge rebound. Raiden corrals the puck, he gets checked in the back, and as he is falling he puts the puck past the goalie... The Up-and-Comers take the lead 2-1. An unbelievable celebration ensues.
The Superstars are stunned. They pull the goalie. so the last minute is an absolute firing range. But we are giving up our bodies and clearing pucks. We hold them off. The S55 Up-and-Comers do it. They win the Championship. Be on the lookout for these elite players ready to fill up the boxscores.

Thanks to @DELIRIVM @sköldpaddor @Merica for the Sigs

To write about anything SHL related in general can be tough with no direction but I want to take this time to send a Merry Christmas and a Happy Holidays to all my friends and teammates on the site and in Los Angeles. It's been a long year for everyone and I can not stress enough how much everyone has meant to me in one of the toughest years of my life while dealing with so many things. This league truly is special more often then not and even with the problems it has it's still been my home away from home for the past 4.5 years and I will never not be happy to be here with all the best people around the world who I happily consider like family now. You all make this place truly special and I love you all so much. Thank you for everything.
