S55 mPT #1 - Home Ice Advantage

I think that the home advantage on the ice has to go to the brand new Nevada Battleborn. While a very new team without a terribly large number of fans, the atmosphere in the arena is absolutely thick with anticipation every night. Fans wearing facepaint and carrying cardboard cutouts of various medieval weapons litter the seats and look menacingly at opposing teams, and the war cry that bursts from the lungs of those ride or die fans after a goal would be enough to make King Leonidas himself quiver.

Texas will be the strongest team not only at home games but from the hole league. Maybe it will take one or two seadon from now on but its going to happen.

Nevada, Look at the streams. They play in the DARK! Its borderline cheating. They are only letting other teams win right now. Don't get me started on their new goal horn. ALSO they play in VEGAS. You wanna know who doesn't give a shit about the strip. People that live in Vegas. All the team will be too hooked on hookers and blow to compete when the Battleborn come calling.

I would say the NOLA has an advantage when it comes to playing as the team is still riding the cup high that came with last seasons championship currently undefeated in regulation so far it looks like there is no stopping these guys!

The arena in Chicago was actually designed by a Smeb brother who decided to become an architect instead of a hockey player. He designed the arena to be uneven so the Syndicate have a literal ice tilt for 2 periods of their home games.

Chicago has the most significant home ice advantage since the rink is run by a syndicate, scaring away opposing fans from ever attending a game.

In my opinion, the New England Wolfpack has the most home town advantage because they have traded half of the league's star players at this point, meaning those players are no longer comfortable playing back in their old town because the rabid fans all hate them.

The Calgary Dragons maintain one of the largest home ice advantages, a task and mantle they take quite literally. The seats surrounding the Dragons penalty box are reserved for a core group of food lovers, chefs, and overall well-eating gentlemen from the local establishments in the Calgary downtown area. This results in several very large men pressed up against the glass to intimidate and taunt any unfortunate soul that finds their way into the penalty box. The BIG PARM takes its food monikers very seriously, and these gentlemen who make up the various antagonistic aspects of the Dragons fanbase are just part of why the team is so great

NOLA has the best fans in the SHL and they get crazy with their chants and cheers and support the team no matter what so the Specters have the most home ice advantage but are also great on the road

Da best home ice advantage in da league is in Newfoundland because we do all sorts of illegal stuff to throw the opposing team off their game

It's gotta be Newfoundland in the SMJHL because of how much everyone deplores their goal song and its inspiration. Nothing knocks your opponent off their game more than their inability to stop hearing haha ding dong.

Texas and Tampa have the best home ice advantage due to the hot weather. While I understand that hockey is played indoors, the exposure to head really takes a toll on the players before the game. Just don't look at our records.

ANA has the best home ice advantage in the SMJHL. WHO doesn't like going to Disneyland and also the LA food smorgasbord, then get totally stuck in traffic that you cant reach the game on time.

Buffalos home ice advantage is too difficult to play against. Specifically the use of hot sauce as shower water always trucks the opponent's team. The hot sauce in the eye... Well Frick.:(

The team that comes to mind with home ice advantage is Buffalo They have a very good team and they seem to bring a little extra at home, maybe it has something to do with the cities special sauce.
