S68 PT #0: RollerCoaster Tycoon Due: November 20th @ 11:59 PM (PST)

The Blizzard roller coaster would definitely take you on a crazy ride as you sit in a wolf shaped cart, each being based around the teams brand. When it comes to the experience you face throughout this ride would be as if a snow storm was happening around you while a screen in front would play highlights and show some of the most important moment through ur teams history, as you near the end it would then begin to give a slide show of our present day roster and team staff to really show everyone who’s been working behind the scenes, as many fans would enjoy this ride not only is it making them aware of the amazing past this teams had but it will also show light on the many important members that are in this team and that have built the blizzard to be where they are today and that would be you’re Bliz Coaster

Christian Kinsinger's career has been... something. It's been like a roller coaster, in ways, but like, the slowest and most boring roller coaster you have ever been on. Kinsinger played 4 seasons in the SMJHL, finishing each season with - 36, 40, 40, and 38 points. 12, 12, 14, and 14 goals. Mr. Consistent in the SMJHL. Not even particularly outstanding seasons, and each was pretty much exactly the same. A roller coaster that just goes the same speed and has like, 1 up and 1 down in it. Kelowna didn't really have any particularly good runs in the playoffs either. Kinsinger's career in Winnipeg has been pretty similar, doing nothing notable on the ice (career high of 32 points). Last season was definitely a dip in performance, but to actually make a down on a roller coaster, you have to go up at some point. At least Winnipeg had a decent run at the playoffs, so maybe there is some hope for future excitement yet.

When it comes to the highs and lows, Minamino has been incredibly privileged to been part of some incredibly individual and team successes. To name some of the lows, there have been some tough seasons early on being the only prospect and wondering whether Chicago would be able to have a future that was both sustainable and incredible given how much focus and depth there was on some older players. That immediately wasn't a concern as management showed both shrewd ballsy moves in picking up multiple key pieces that went on to be staples of their future. There were multiple runs it felt like, being ended at the hands of Buffalo. Whether it was a 3-0 reverse sweep, multiple 3-1 leads in series being blown, it seemed like what could go wrong against them would happen.

On the other hand, it made for the Challenge Cup win all the more sweeter, knowing just how difficult it could be to even get to that position. A cherry on top would be the league record of 60 goals by an individual player in the regular season.

Finn Brandt has a lot more lows than highs over his short career. The Kelwona Knight's were young and lost a lot of games his first two years in the league. This was hard on him as he always been on teams that win but he will not let this discourage him. It's early in his career and he has a lot to be proud of so far that don't include wins. The best moment of his career was his OT goal versus the Knight's biggest rival in his first season. He had been having a hard time getting started offensively and that goal really helped him become more confident. The Knight’s also played in the play-in round of the playoffs. While they didn’t win, it was a good experience to play playoff hockey for the first time. Brandt is hoping that the Knight’s can build off this and win a SMJHL championship. He also hopes to keep improving both his offensive and defensive sides of the puck.

Nibbles the Squirrel is an amazing success story that needs to be highlighted in this PT. We will start off with the obvious fact that he is a squirrel that plays hockey. Not only plays, but performs at a very high level. He has achieved success here with the Maine Timber. The most notable of which is recently winning the 4-Star cup and being nominated for a couple of awards. Nibbles is a player that can make an impact on both sides of the puck. This past season he led the entire league in Assists on the offensive side of the puck and when it came to the defensive side of the puck there were few that were better than him as he managed to get a nomination for the best defensive forward award. The career of Nibbles is just beginning as he is still yet to make his way into the SHL but, rest assured when he gets there amazing things will happen.

PLAYER PROMPT

Lord Raiden is entering his 12th season, all with the Baltimore Platoon. Raiden joined the Platoon when they were in a rebuild, when they had Cup inspirations, and also now back to rebuild. Lord Raiden struggled a bit in those early years but always played his part. Even though the best Baltimore teams were the 5 seasons from S60 to S64, Raiden just had his best statistical season last season. 30 goals and 52 assists were both career highs for Raiden. Which shows what he was capable of if ever given the shot to do so in those early years. But what also sets Raiden apart is his physicalness. Always willing to play the tough part, and get his nose dirty. Raiden has over 1000 career hits and 630 Shots blocked to go along with almost 600 career points. All in 726 games played. It is hard to believe that Raiden has only made one All-star game as well (S67). Lord Raiden is the epitome of most underrated player. It has always been something that he has had to deal with his whole career. But there is no doubt that every single team would benefit having Lord Raiden on their team.

Written Task: Describe the most incredible roller coaster you can that's themed like your SHL/SMJHL team. What does it do, what does it look like, and why are people going to pay double the regular ticket price to be able to ride it before they watch the game? How are you going to include your teams branding and overall vibe? (150+ words)

The Manhattan rollercoaster is a state of the art innovation created in tandem with the city officials. Since it's kind of difficult to create a real full-sized roller coaster in the big apple, they instead went the route of a digital rollercoaster a la Soaring. When Manhattan players were approached for ideas, their first reply was wondering why they, hockey players, had been contacted to help design a rollercoaster, the heads sent over the roadmap. The ride would be including city landmarks, and a digitally recreated Manhattan Rage stadium. With the success of the team in recent years, it's been a major tourist attraction and the stadium has long been a landmark for the city. Footage was taken during practice to use in the simulation, and faces of the team were asked to do short tours of the facilities. Aksel was tagged to do his favorite area, the stands, and he narrated from he favorite seat behind the home team bench.

The Regina Elkinator is an arena-encircling roller coaster that operates before, during, and after Regina Elk games in their home arena. In fact, the roller coaster weaves in and out of the arena itself, zipping by other fans in their seats and getting glimpses beside the ice, among other featured building locations and attractions. Beforehand, the coaster zooms through the maintenance rooms to see the staff preparing the arena for mass attendance and whirls by the locker rooms as the teams try and warm up for the game. During the game, the coaster is more limited to reduce noise so the speed varies quite a bit. Outside the cars can loop around without a worry but they can only enter the main arena area when the teams aren't playing (unless it's an opponents power play). Afterward, the people on the ride are offered parachutes and hang gliders and are given the opportunity at the top of particularly high hills to leap off and make an aerial trip to their parked car or pickup point to skip the crowds.

To highlight for Simulation Major Junior Hockey League right winger Jolmi Koivus you first need to take into consideration how his career has gone this far into it. Jolmi Koivu was drafted much lower by the Colorado Raptors than he ever intended to go, and this surprised him very much! To prove this was a bad decision by every team that isn't named the Colorado Raptors he went out and scored all over the place in the Junior league! He almost won rookie of the year and was in the top 10 for scoring in all his other seasons. With that said having proved all the junior teams that failed to pick him in the draft after they had passed on him, he is now set to come up and play in the SImulation Hockey League for the Hamilton Steelhawks as a rookie forward. He has jester cup aspirations this season.

Well it's certainly not going to be thrilling - because we're the Syndicate. Unless you find rollercoasters where you might very well end up sleeping with the fishes after thrilling, then yeah you'll be in for a thrill. The first stage of the coaster takes you through a dark tunnel where gangsters appear from holes in the wall and try to shoot you with paintball guns. It's your job to shoot back using the machine guns mounted on your rollercoaster car. The next part you go above ground and they turn you upside down to get nice and disoriented for the final stage of the rollercoaster. The final stage takes you underwater and they tie cement bricks to your feet. If you're able to swim to the surface - congrats, you're headed to the Syndicate game. If not - I hope you had fun but you won't be going to the next Syndicate game. I personally haven't tried the rollercoaster out since I've been suffering through hip pain and that impacts how you can swing with cement bricks tied on.

When it comes to roller coasters, there's only one ride that can even come close to matching the Toronto North Stars franchise. It's appropriately named "The North Star" and begins like many standard roller coasters. It slowly climbs a hill but when it gets to the top of the hill, it doesn't just rely on gravity to take the inhabitants on a downward journey back towards the ground. Instead, it turns on literal jet engines and launches everyone into outer space, towards the North Star obviously. Once the car has reached 10,000 feet in altitude, a glass enclosure gives the riders an air-tight and pressurized seal and oxygen is pumped in so nobody blacks out. This climb continues until the vehicle reaches 50,000 feet, after which some parachutes deploy and the entire thing starts peacefully falling back towards the earth. Close to impact, huge rubber buffers expand to cushion the riders as they hit the ground, with emergency vehicles standing by to render any aid necessary. This is definitely a once-in-a-lifetime experience and it can be had in North America's greatest city - Toronto!

I would be extremely excited to help create a Colorado Raptors themed roller coaster. Im glad that they want it to be fast cause we could have it no other way. I think we could do some kind of VR/real life experience in order to get the wow factor. Something like the avatar roller simulation, but then all the sudden you drop through the floor into the middle of the actual jungle, and then thats where the real life roller coaster starts. There would be plenty of dinosaurs obviously. This is when you start to see that not only is this a roller coaster, its actually jurassic park and there are actual dinosaurs there. Luckily for you this is the 9th iteration of the park and there have been no dinosaur escapes in over 54 days. As the ride slows down you exit into the largest gift shop youve ever seen. Its actually just a real walmart but everything is Raptor themed.

wide peepo happy 3 koviu's career is just beginning in the shl, he spent the last 3-4 seasons in the smjhl where he was a scarecrow, he was a shutdown d man that was used to playing and defending other teams top lines on a nightly basis, he is hoping he could build into that as an SHL Player, he is going to be hard to play against, physical and with a good stick that is going to annoying to play against, he wants to be annoying to play against. He doesn't care for any offense results this season, he just wants to make sure that other teams are careful of him as he can be physical and you gotta keep your head up when hes on the ice. He wants to make sure the puck gets to our forwards with getting passing and puckhandling skills and get a lot of assists.
