Nash is definitely one of those players that is pretty heated and outspoken after every game, whether the team wins or loses. As one of the louder voices in the locker room, sometimes you can hear the howl before the game and during the intermissions. Nash is also one of the first to volunteer for a mid game interview with the press. Using his lovable cute personality, he can charm the socks off of just about anyone. After a good game, Nash will trot around the room looking for pets, but after a bad loss, he will definitely be growling and snarling quite a bit. He definitely has a bit of a finicky personality that really changes on a day to day basis. Nash would happily volunteer to take the place of a teammate if it means he gets some extra pets on the bus or plane ride. As a very loyal member of the team, Nash would do almost anything for his Detroit Falcons teammates ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Registered Posting Freak

Patya am loving reports, and is okay for asking about how things go in game. Patya knowing that this is job of peoples who report, and am know much well because Kristen Landry am reporter and am love of life for Patya! This similar to how playing the hockeys is Patya job. Everyone is have to do job for survive, no? Anyway, Patya not taken questions in much long time, but that just because Patya so busy these days. Patya used to have much more time for frees but now is always having schedule. Patya never dreaded having number called that he can remember, and Patya would always cover for player who had really bad game and not able for face media. Patya very good at understanding when is more that team could have done for win, and much open to being able for criticism himself for poor play. Patya just want for stay honest because honesty is best policy. ![]() Registered S3 Challenge Cup Champion
Metzller doesn’t mind talking to the media in Kelowna. Coming over to North America, Rikaad wasn’t the best at English and some of his very first tests in proficiency were his first talks with media during his rookie year. The media was very understanding and patient with him which helped form a good relationship with them. He understands that sometimes they have to ask the tough questions for their job and he doesn’t mind and try’s to show the same understanding and patience he was shown. He will admit, his first time he was terrified, as he never had to deal with the media in Europe, but now he enjoys it. There have been a few times where Rikaad would take a teammates spot for media. He tends to be a little more mentally tough than some of the younger players, but he’s sure he was the same way his first year.

I just show up to the media scrums to not get fined. In all honesty, I am fine with media scrums. They have their place in the sport. The fans, the media, the public, etc. need to hear from us about some of the things that occurred during the game. Yeah it sucks having to answer questions after a stinging loss, and sometimes we’re in pain since this is a physical sport we play. But it’s not the end of the world to go out there and answer questions for a few minutes before getting on the bus back to the hotel or to the airport. I’m for transparency and it just makes sense to do the media scrum after games. We all have to go through it eventually so it isn’t like they are just going after one or another. Plus it’s flattering to have so many journalists wanting to hear my opinion on certain matters.

I dodge the question every time only because I can or I say it is a racist question because I Damien Hirano are from Japan. So whatever I say goes or that reporter ends up as A hashtag on Twitter. So Hirano you missed a wide open net? I scream racist into the mic like it’s the only word my Japanese born ass knows. And bam I’ll never hear it again because guess what? He got fired because everyone thinks the reporter is a racist thanks to the cancel culture that Twitter has spawned from the unholy sacred place we call the internet. Cancel cultured has saved me from answering the Interview questions that I do not care about in the first place because they are questions that hurt my character as a SHL player and top prospect for the Montreal patriots. None the less Hirano just dodged the question like a dodge ball in gym class. They ain’t no way

4 chainz loves the media. He feels that the media and the press are some of his biggest assets he can have to grow his fan base and continue to build his following in the music industry. Sure the hockey fans and additional merch sales are also a huge bonus. As i've shared in the past 4 chainz isnt afraid to let someone in the media team know if they disrespect him though. There has to be a mutual level of respect or if i feel any shade i wont be afraid to burn them in the sickest diss track You've heard this year. Otherwise if the media shows me love im gonna treat them nice. Give them the inside scoop and make their life as easy as i can. Plus they're all getting free merch to help rep my next few albums. They love the swag from my press conferences.

Hi , shoyo Hinata had issue with the team cook. Shoyo is on a very strict diet. It's called the super size me diet. He eat the same thing as the guy in the 2004 movie. On the day that everything went wrong , Hotdoge, the team general manager and cook , served a non double big Mac to Shoyo. Shoyo was furious and decided to throw the big Mac in the face of hotdoge. A big food fight followed. When the press asked Shoyo some questions , he immediately apologized. He said to the journalist that he really appreciate hotdog as a general manager and as a cook. And that he is sorry to have thrown food at him. He then explained that his diet is really important for him and that eating a small single big Mac really impact his performance. The team is always his priority and he will do everything to make it better, even if that mean eating double big mac

Player Prompt: Media scrums in general are a complete waste of time. Reporters always ask the dumbest questions that they know us as players can't answer honestly without pissing off our team or management group. Like this one report asked what we could have done differently to win. What was I supposed to tell her, that Tummy should have stopped the 4 softies in thw first period he let in and dug us into a hole. No if insay that he's gonna get all sad and I'm gonna have to hear about it the whole bus ride home. Management wants me to just smile shake my head and say I need to work harder and it was an off night. Maybe we just need to regroup going forward. But really some nights a player just straight up sucks out there on the ice. I wish I could say that but the fact is I would be traded the next day. This sport is a business and you gotta be professional at all times.

Press: Kickz, we heard there was an issue tonight on the bench with some water bottles getting mixed up? Rumor is there was Dr Pepper in a few more bottles than usual, can you tell us if that is true and why Equipment Manager Drew might have done something like that?
Kickz: Well, I can’t really speak to the reason something like that would happen but I also don’t think it’s really that big of a deal. I mean, every night we come to the rink expected to perform like professionals. You can pretty much do that regardless of what is in those water cups. Sure, its a bit of a shock to get something sugary when you are just looking for a drink of water. Ultimately, Drew has had our back for years with stick tape, skate sharpening. He’s the best in the business, even when he’s causing me some headaches. I don’t expect its something that Drew will let happen again. He’s a first class member of our organization and has been a big part of our success. Guys are comfortable knowing he will take care of that side of the game for us. Its a non-issue. ![]() Thanks Jove for my sig ![]() SMJHL GM Senior Member
Player Prompt
When I get asked questions at a press conference, I'm quite happy to answer them. I feel like they're an opportunity to open up about how I'm feeling about the team and league in general. Even if the question is dumb, I just play along with it. However, if it's meant to get a mean reaction from me, I don't even acknowledge it, assuming that that person doesn't actually want an answer out of me in good faith thus what's the point of engaging with that individual? I also won't go too into the details of what went on so that no other team can glean too much information about what just happened. But things like daily practices are good for me to share in my opinion because those things every team deals with at some point; it certainly isn't privy just to my team. Finally, when the going really gets tough, I simply say no comment and say that I'm not qualified enough to answer that question since I don't have enough information, possibly giving the question to my coach or a player who knows more about the situation. Player Prompt:
Collin Gibbles has never been a big fan of all the media attention surrounding the SHL and the rampant rumor mills that always seems to be trying to dig at any possible story they can find. Gibbles works hard to keep a majority of his home life separate from his work life outside of some key events. More recently he has relented a bit more in an attempt to start to teach his son how to deal with the media. Since his son is starting to set their sights on a career in hockey, he wants them to have every advantage he can give before they are thrown into the SMJHL draft pool. Gibbles understands the media scrums are a necessary evil for the business but he has long tired of answering the same questions and seeing every player give the same canned responses to generic questions. The one exception to this is when he finds a newer member of the media who will ask an unorthodox question. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Registered Posting Freak
Creative Prompt
And so it begins. I found myself cornered in the press room after a Beserkers win. “Luca what is with the very public, very real, and very heated spat you had with the unnamed staff meme we?” Oh boy, I thought to myself. I guess word has gotten around about me dining and ditching a certain staff member working for the team. I did what any reasonable person would do in this situation. Deny, deny, deny baby. “What spat?” “What staff member.” I thought I was so clever dodging the question that I did not realize they were in the audience waiting for me to say something untrue. “Liar!” Someone yelled from the back. “Okay fine, look.” I began. “There was this family pizza war going on in Italy and it may have found its way over here and around the team. While I do not regret my actions, I do understand how it was childish and disrespectful.” That should win them over. ![]() Registered Am a peasant
Pressers don't bother McHits one bit, in fact, he enjoys them. He prides himself on showing his true colors depending on the situation, whether that's addressing issues he believes strongly in (sports related or not), joking around with reporters and teammates, or talking through the x's and o's after a tough loss, Sconnie isn't one to shy away from the mic. With his ability to speak with confidence and not take himself too seriously, he is always willing to step up to the plate for teammates who would rather have some time to decompress than address reporters. Unbeknownst to many, McHits has aspirations of being a commentator/analyst when his playing career is done, and so he also sees these interactions as a practice or trial run of sorts. Whatever the reason, his teammates and coaching staff are more than happy to let him grab the mic and make things easier on others in the organization.
