Journey Man has a lot of different experiences when it comes to the ends of seasons. From being on a bottom of the league team, who hasn't had a meaningful game in weeks, to bubble teams that are fighting just to keep their season alive, to now playing for a team who had already locked up the President's Trophy. The key, no matter what situation you're in, is to focus on your game and not let the circumstances of the game dictate how you play. Whether it's game 1 of the season, or game 7 of the Finals, the way you play shouldn't change. Stick to the fundamentals, play with heart, but don't let your emotions control you. Don't try and be a hero, play off of your teammates, and execute what you've been worked on in practice. This steady approach has helped Journey provide a calming presence in the locker room, and hopefully for this playoff run, will help keep the highs in check and uplift the lows, should they come.

161 words Prompt 2

Now that Trevor is at his peak, he’s earned tons of money from being in the league for many season and this has allowed him save his money, because he’s a simple man and em doesn’t need much beside hockey and the good kind of chicken fingers, not the cheap kind. With that said, it allows Trevor to hire some of the best trainer and physical therapist to help the rest of the team go the extra mile with their training, because every little bit helps. The team is full of young blood so even if this doesn’t help the team right now to make the playoffs because let’s be fair we ain’t making the playoffs, it’ll help in the long run. Trevor just wants to be successful and by helping the next generation is one way to do that. So hopefully by his team mates seeing his commitment to this team it will drive them to wanna do the same.

With the playoffs on the line, tensions explode in a heated matchup. Arvinder finds himself squaring off against Tiny Princess, a scrappy opponent who isn’t afraid to drop the gloves. The fight erupts late in the second period after a series of chippy plays, and whether it’s personal or just playoff intensity, neither backs down.

Tiny Princess throws the first punch, catching Arvinder off guard, but he quickly regains his footing. The two trade blows in a fast, intense scrap, drawing a roar from the crowd. Arvinder, having prepared for moments like this, stays composed and lands a clean right hook that shifts the fight in his favor. He fights fair, but he fights to win.

As the refs break it up, Arvinder’s team rides the energy, scoring soon after. The fight ignites his bench, turning the tide of the game and keeping their playoff hopes alive.

Option 2
When the playoffs hit it becomes all about adrenaline. Every team in the playoffs has a chance to win each and every game, sure there may be underdogs but whatever team shows up night in after night out will be the team that wins the championship. When playoffs come becomes a game based off adrenaline and mental focus. You have to be able to play at a high level every night but also be able to play consistently and smart. You can't let the adrenaline take over and lead you to playing a game that may lead to penalties or odd man rushes or just simply forgetting the reason and how your team got there. For me I try to stay consistent I try to stick to the system but keep the energy level up. There may be a bad bounce or a bad game, but with it being a best out of 7 Series you just need to make sure you show up to the next game and your team is ready to play.

Written Option 1: Gwendolyn played hard throughout the entire season. She was really hoping to bring the team into its first playoffs bracket in years. A bit over halfway, she recognized that it simply wasn't possible, and instead shifted her focus to simply trying to improve her performance from the previous seasons. Inevitably, this led to a fight. The only logical choice would be with Calgary. She was playing with a high tempo, shoring up behind Alexa, and as such just ended up bumping into Cheeks. With the speed of these games, there wasn't any clear instigator. She was fumbling away, accidentally landing a hit. Cheeks would take it with hostility, leading to the girl to retaliate. One thing led to another, and suddenly the small center would use her height to off balance cheeks and slam him into the ground. The reality is she got lucky. No one her size can easily defeat a person a foot taller. Either way, Calgary would still sweep Edmonton, ensuring that tussle didn't go unpunished.

Written Option 1:

Lancer Frappe would fight in the final game against Quebec City   Citadelles.  He noticed the whalers needed to get some energy going and help entertain the crowd.  The fight is initiated in the first period when Shiny Rainbow tried to dig at the goaltender while they were freezing the puck. They definitely initiate the fight as soon as the whistle blows he drops the gloves and grabs them by the back of the jersey and gets a couple of uppercuts in but Rainbow gets a couple of blows back, however when Lancer gets a straight jab to their mouth and knocks a tooth loose and rainbow falls to the ice the crowd goes crazy  and the whalers are definitely in a firey spirits and the whalers win the game 5-2

MattyJ does not fight often, but when he does it is usually for good reason. In a late season game, MattyJ knew he had to fire his team up. The Pride were handing it to them, and he wanted to show that they could take the big dogs. So MattyJ picks the smallest guy on the ice, and throws his mitts on to the ice. He throws mostly uppercuts but mixes in some hooks to keep everyone on their toes. He connects again and again, leaving the opposing player bloody and bruised. The crowd and bench erupt, showering MattyJ with stick taps and cheers. Every minute in that box was worth it to him. The team rallies around it and fights their way back into the game. The final outcome of the game is unknown, but we do know that MattyJ fights like a champ. On to the playoffs, if MattyJ needs to fight again, you know he is always ready.

Option 2:

When it comes time toward the end of the season for the New England Wolfpack to make a run toward the playoffs Matiss is willing to do whatever the team needs him to do to be able to get that final push for the playoffs. On the ice Matiss is going to play to the best of his abilities and give it everything he has got to be able to help the team win. Off the ice he is going to be a motivational leader in the locker room to be able to pump up the guys and get them ready to go each and every game. Matiss is always going to be helping out running pre-warm-ups and making sure that everybody is ready to go for the game whether that is stretching or kicking a soccer roll around to get some team chemistry built up prior to going on the ice.

Dominik is definitely a lead by example type on the ice and a quiet type off the ice. He would happily go along with any kind of team building exercises off the ice and considering he loves to eat good food, he will be the first one to suggest a new restaurant to eat at or somewhere interesting for the team to consider on their nights out on the road. When they’re at home during the playoffs, he’s spending as much time as he can at his house, talking to family and spending time with them where he can. It’s not always the easiest thing to do during the regular season, but the more consistent schedule of the playoffs, paired with the fact that he and San Francisco have gone the distance 3 times, allows him to plan better and know when and where he will be for maximizing his home time each playoff opportunity.
