When you make a donation, I think you should not expect something in return.
You can donate food, money or even your time and you just need to find a cause that is important to you.

Tom Pedersen would donate money to a lot of different important projects and in return he will expect that the money goes to actual good use and that those that receive money can deliver what they say.

If Luca is donating money to a charity, he would not expect anything in return. That defeats the purpose of donating. Luca would probably donate some money to an Italian hockey school so others from Italy can come over to the league.

Spaceman Spiff donates a portion of his salary to local charities that help pay for equipment and fees for children who can't afford them. Hockey is an expensive sport to get in to and helping a few more get the chance to love the game is worth it for Spiff.

Dag-Otto would likely donate to a few causes here and there, most frequent to Doctors Without Borders. But the problem being famous is that donations may become public whether you like it or not. Dag-Otto doesn't like that aspect of it, so he donates anonymously when he can.

Marsh would partner with a hockey charity providing equipment and ice time for the underprivileged. Let's face it hockey is expensive and growing the game by allowing others without financial means to participate will only help grow the game.

I would donate to any sort of hockey startup programs that provide equipment and activities for kids learning to play. It's an expensive sport that more kids should get the opportunity to play if they want to, regardless of financial status. And I would expect heaps of praise in return, of course.

Pass Forfeit would donate to the charity of position changes. Many players struggle with position changes and they need a fund to help change positions. This would help them change positions with the accumulated fund money

My player would donate some of his SHL millions to medical research for rare, but dangerous diseases that are underfunded and neglected without wanting anything in return of course.

Unfortunately, my player is poor. However, if he had money, he'd definitely be donating a lot of it back into his hometown, whether into education or whatever Gomez Palacio needs.
