5. This time the games are hosted in Minnesota. How would players spend their time in Twin Cities? = +4 TPE (200 words)
Oh, man, if the games are in Minnesota, the Twin Cities got a lot for players to do. First off, you got all them lakes around there, so I bet some of the guys are gonna hit up the water, do some fishing or maybe rent a boat and just chill out, you know? Then there’s the Mall of America. I ain't kidding, that place is huge, and I think some of the players would be all over it, maybe buying stuff for their families or just going on those roller coasters they got inside. Plus, if they like food, there’s plenty of spots for good eats. They got all that midwest comfort food, lots of burgers, fried stuff and just what you need after a game. I also heard there's some cool bars around there, so the boys might hit those up for some drinks after a big win, just to let loose a little bit. And some of them might even check out a Vikings game if it lines up, or maybe a Timberwolves game. I mean, Minnesota's got all the sports, right? Hockey guys love sports, so they'll probably catch another game if they got the time. And don’t forget just relaxing because after all, they gotta rest too. So, a lot of chilling, eating, maybe some team bonding stuff. Just enjoying the city while keeping their heads in the game. Twin Cities definitely got enough to keep them busy when they ain't on the ice.

6. Your player starts practicing a skill that has nothing to do with hockey, what do they do and how it goes? = +2 TPE (100 words)
Blade Hunter starts practicing guitar, just to do something different than hockey, and try out something on the more creative side. At first, it isn’t pretty as his fingers get stiff, and he keeps playing the wrong strings. But the Hunter’s got that mindset where he just doesn’t quit, so he keeps on strumming, even if it sounds like a cat getting its tail stepped on. After a while, he starts getting the hang of it, playing a few basic songs. It isn’t perfect, but he enjoys the sounds he starts making. In the end it helps him relax after games, plus it gives him something to focus on that isn’t all about the game he plays. This in turn keeps his mind fresh and free to not allow his whole mindset to be dominated by sports.

11. I think its time for the SHL to start looking at markets outside of the North American continent. So I am proposing as a start (and eventually leading to teams relocating and expanding all over the globe) to host the All-Star games in other countries! Players will love playing exhibition games on another continent after a 12 or sometimes 15 hour flight. And the best part. The ASG can be sold to the highest bidder. He wants to publicity of the SHL. Maybe an Indian billionaire will decide to use the SHL ASG to host their wedding. Paying the SHL hundred of millions to have the best players appear at their wedding. Think of how many teams the SHL could expand with that. We could go big. 40 maybe even 50 teams in the future!! (135)

5. This time the games are hosted in Minnesota. How would players spend their time in Twin Cities?

Well, since this is the Twin Cities, players would have to check out the local geography and why the cities are named as such. The area has many lakes, and a game of shinny to warm up for the All Star Game sounds like a grand idea this time of year. There are also places where you can go ice fishing and see how good your waiting skills are. There are also Minnesotan food to try out, such as lefse and Swedish meatballs, and raspberry bread pudding for dessert. The one that I would like to try is the Juicy Lucy – a cheese stuffed burger, with the cheese on the inside.

6. Your player starts practicing a skill that has nothing to do with hockey, what do they do and how it goes?

Will Tomlander has decided that in order to become a hockey player, and to improve his hand eye coordination, he has decided to get into teppanyaki cooking and moonlighting as a hibachi chef at the local Bennihana. Thanks to his practice at juggling pucks, whipping them into nets and other hockey related skills, the results of his off-season work at the restaurant has been decidedly mixed. Will flung the prawns too hard at a patron, which resulted in the patron being injured, but the egg toss skills have been impressive and gotten him rave reviews from the patrons. His timing with the onion volcano and the beating heart fried rice has been on cue as well, and the tips that he gets from the diners is starting to pile up to a nice bonus. Not bad overall!

8. Teammates, 212 words, 4 TPE

This season I'm lucky to be attending the all-star game along with eight of my Quebec City Citadelles teammates, over half the team! This of course includes my two linemates, two players who get a lot of points and aren't afraid to mix it up in Randolph Thompson-Smythe and Andrea Morandi. I'll also be joined by two incredible sophomore players who will only get even better in Duke Howard, who was able to climb up to third most points on the team this season, and Dejana Kaptina, who was one of two QCC players voted as last players in and was also a huge reason why Quebec was able to bring home the Four-Star Cup this season. Joining us is also three defensemen, SMJHL veteran and star Peter, as well as two amazing rookies in Rodwin Dionicio, another huge playoff performer, and Uwe Bindewald, our second last player in vote. Last and certainly not least is goalie QCCBOT4, who carried the team through some incredibly difficult matchups and made impossible saves look easy. I'm so incredibly excited to be able to share the ice with all these incredible players game after game, and to have so many of us representing the Quebec City Citadelles at the all-star game is an amazing honour.
