can i ask who thought it was a good idea to change a rule and then expect the entire league to get on board with it in less than 3 days time?
Its ridiculous to me that people's updates are already getting skipped without even taking into the account that people would need time to see the rule change and adjust accordingly without a mention of it outside of this thread.

Also its weird that you will get skipped even though you didn't update your cap tpe. I got skipped and I only had AC and ITC. Also why is Tomen updating Eastern Conference teams? Hes a GM.

I think this boils down to the idea that PT cap should have always been a part of the update, and that this isn't as much of a new rule, but a new enforcement of a previous one. The timing is unfortunate but it's because my audit only happened recently and Head Office needed to amend an issue they saw league wide.

oh yeah, i get that, dont get me wrong.
The, rule has precedent thats one thing because almost everyone gains capped tpe each season. What bothers me is that HO thinks it can make a rule change that affects BOTH leagues 3 days before the season starts without any sort of notice outside of this.
Sometimes i'll go 2, 3, 4, 5 days without checking the forums and I think that a lot of members can say that as well. I'm just a bit concerned that that could happen again.
I was told to not update anyone without the PT cap (except rookies) no exceptions, but I've tried to be lenient and pm people telling them to hurry up and get it in and I can look the other way. Don't know about other updaters tho

yeah that's pretty dumb in my case, I claimed AC and Training and said bank it, but these new cap rules won't allow that...
I told my updaters to go ahead with skipping without exceptions. If you want people to follow a rule, you enforce it. If you start making exceptions or you reassure people "no, it's ok, the rule was written 3 days ago, we'll slap you next week" it's a slippery slope and the gray area gets bigger and bigger each week. Keep it simple, keep it tough. So, if it's a hard lesson, all the better you learn.

Honestly I got skipped even though my update didn't have any capped tpe in it...... which is fucked up.

So you are just power tripping eh?
Its a quick update if there is no capped tpe either and honestly its understandable to not include the cap in the first fuckin week of the rule being in place which is where the leniency should be.
Why couldn't updaters say
"updated but if you do this next week you will be skipped."

Do you think your update will be missing your cap tracker next week?
