And I'm not really sure how it's gaming the system? Every team that wants to compete should be approaching their roster with the same mentality: your best chance to succeed is to put together a comprehensive, cohesive team structure. This isn't exploiting, this is just good coaching from the person I consider to be the best coach in the league.

Yes, I'm baffled that people read this actually took it seriously. 80% of the league has their checking and defensive at 15+

I mean, they found that this helps their team in FHM, they got the team on board, and the league is offering redist. It's not like they are hoarding it either, they aren't really doing it in secret, it's all in their player pages and updates. I literally talked to Teddy 2 days ago about my build as a really low 600TPE player, and his build outline had me do 3 things that would help me be successful

Passing minimum 14/15
Checking minimum 14/15
Defensive read minimum 14/15

I mean you can run as many tests as your team wants in the sim, I know Texas is testing how things work in FHM. It's a brand new sim. Maybe this 15 thing isn't even a game breaking strategy, it just works for their team make up.

I don't think this is the same as the SC/PA situation at all lol. It's just a build structure that worked for them, and they are using the redist. Use your redist to do the same if you'd like, we all have it

No the surprising part is that this was actually a thing lmao, I figured that players were just spreading out their TPE tbh cause that provides more value in the sim with the current TPE scale

Claiming satire after the fact didn't make this a funny joke, and dragging Detroit into it at all is just ridiculous. Not all of our players were around for the STHS drama or understand that context. All they see is someone claiming we cheated.

Fwiw, if I had read far enough into the thread to see you say it was a joke I wouldn't have responded that angrily, I still just legitimately don't think it's funny considering Hamilton has been taking 100% honest takes like this for months and it's driven members of our team to lessened activity/inactivity, hence it's a bit touchy
