7. Was watching S58 SMJHL Preseason Day 1 stream. Was very excited to see Anaheim Outlaws play their first games as this squad. First game was hard. We were trying our best to score, had our chances, but Vancouver Whalers goalie had an amazing game so it was 0:4 win for Whalers. Second game was against Nevada Battleborn team. Nevada took pace with goal in first halp of a period. Outlaws started to take control and at secong half of second period was leading in shots. Last minute in second period. Kampainen wins faceoff, puck goes to "Long" John Donair. He passes to Tumovs, he shots and scores. First goal for Outlaws, many more to come. But not in this game. In third period Nevada showed that you can shoot how much you like, but wins team with better accuracy. 3:1 Nevada took W home.
One thing that surpriced me during this stream was Maine Timber team. First game agains Kelowna 5:3 and what amazed me was team shooting accuracy. Timber scored three times with only thirteen shots at goal. Second game fas no different. Maine came out strong against Detroit Falcons too. With sixteen shots at goal Maine scored two times. In comparison Detroit shot fourty seven times to score three of them. I give credit to Maine as very strong offencive team. Looking forward to meet in this season.

I was super hyped to see myself play in a game for the first time. I decided to jump into Season 58 SMJHL Preseason Day 2. The Anchorage Armada was playing against the Quebec City Citadelles. This was an exciting game to watch as Anchorage quickly jumped to a 1-0 lead in the 1st period. The Citadelles would notch it up early in the 2nd period and then take a 2-1 lead late in the 2nd. Quebec City had a 3 to 1 shot advantage against Anchorage going into the 3rd period but Anchorage took their opportunities tying it up 2-2 midway through the 3rd. Quebec City would respond quickly scoring a goal less than 2 minutes later to take a 3-2 lead. Anchorage fought valiantly trying to tie it up in the last few minutes of the game but were unable to score another goal and gave up an empty netter to Quebec to lose the game 4-2.

I watched the SMJHL Preseason stream today, and caught my Vancouver Whalers going 3-0 altogether today. It was a solid performance by the whole team, including a shutout to round out the day by G Jon St. Ark. G1 was a 5-1 victory over Maine Timber, where the Whalers outshot the Timber 43-15 en route to a convincing win with KnockedOut byOvechkin's 2 goal effort. G2 was a bit tougher against the Anchorage Armada, where the Whalers eventually pulled ahead 5-3 thanks to 47 shots against Anchorage's 24 and Zebulon Leavitt finding the net despite being a generally defensive minded D-man. Finally, Game 3 was against the Colorado Raptors where Vancouver again piled up the shots, with 32 SOG vs Colorado's 29. Just a dominant performance by the Whalers, they put their foot on the gas right away and never let up scoring early and often and being responsible on their end of the ice.

I watched the Carolina Kraken vs Quebec City Citadelles, and got to see how my player did for the first time, as I had missed my team's first game that was shortly before. I play for Carolina, which was unfortunate as this was a tough 5-2 loss for the Kraken, with my player Granny PanPan taking a tough -3. It started off with Quebec City taking the first goal and dominating the shot clock 7-0. Carolina tied it but the Citadelles got another one to take the 2-1 lead going into the 2nd. It just got worse from there, with Quebec City outscoring Carolina 3-1 in the 2nd period for a 5-2 lead, and an insane 29-11 shots on goal advantage. The 3rd period was scoreless, which was surprising given the goal fest that the prior two periods were, but it ended with Quebec City taking the win, one of 3 they got to start the season 3-0.
