I'm Esa, I've been GM of the Dragons for 35 seasons now. I like to eat chicken parm and take very long naps. Sometimes I eat other things besides chicken parm, like meatball parm or eggplant parm, but chicken is #1. I had a dream about a chicken parm pizza where the entire pizza is chicken, then found out there's a place in NYC that makes that exact thing. Planning a trip in 2022.

Hey everyone, Mavfatha here. I've been in the SHL for quite awhile now though pretty quiet most of the time. About the only thing I was really known for other than my solidly fantasy performing player for awhile was for writing long articles about converting hockey attributes and therefore the incoming rookie classes into Pokemon (https://simulationhockey.com/showthread.php?tid=89093) but I have since become busy/lazy and now I just do the easy stuff.

I'm a ~30-year-old ex-athlete with two jobs who likes to drink socially (so it's been a sobering year). I've lived in the US mid-atlantic / northeast my entire life.

The SHL is my dirty little secret that I don't tell my wife about because our time and resources are sparse, and if she knew how much time I commit to talking about simulated hockey, each week she would hide the jar that she keeps my balls in. She thinks this is a really deep fantasy league with a player pool of every league in the world. I have never lied to her about it, but she made assumptions when peaking over my shoulder during the summer and an actual european player (player's name) was on the screen, and with "SHL" (Swedish hockey league) on the screen, i didn't dissuade her assumptions. Its also trickier than normal because there are a few players whose names sound just like my real-world name, so when those come up she raises an eyebrow.

I used to be very active, but I've downgraded myself to pretty active as life has gotten busy.

A fun fact: in ~2011, youtube sent me an email confirming that i was in the first percentile of listeners to "Call Me Maybe" (i was #300, but it might have been #364 on my account, as my roommate and i were both looking for the song). Pretty neat!

2 truths and a lie SHL (get to know the cow):
Tokolosh's number (13) was pulled out of my ass because of his Vrana-like play style.
I want to put more into hitting but Keygan won't let me.
It took 25 games in the J before Julio got his first point.

2 truths and a lie IRL (I'm still getting to know my body, too):
I use 1 lip balm tube a month (with 4 active: bed, office, car, pocket)
I'm a shy pee-er (good bladder and busy schedule keeps me on the move to the next bathroom)
My fingernails grow incredibly fast (need to be trimmed once a week)

Hi Keenan! You might remember me from being drafted as Riko Muerto to the Edmonton Blizzard in S15, back when I was username kezkincaid. We were linemates even though you were a much better player than me. I'm now on my 3rd player, but Riko is alive and well and went on to GM the Kelowna Knights in the SMJHL, then was a founder of IIHF Team Norway back in S22 with JRT and Chocula. I went on to be SMJHL Commissioner for a spell in the late S20's, before moving back to GMing with Manhattan Rage from S30-37, which is when I changed my username to Muerto. I was one of the fed heads again in Norway after that, but took over as GM of the Winnipeg Jets in S52. The Jets rebranded to the Winnipeg Aurora this offseason and now Leafs4Ever hates me. My current player is Goku Muerto and canonically he is Riko's younger cousin.

Hello I am Festinator. I created my player based off of the main player from the netflix series called Dark. It's funny because although I liked that show a lot, I would not say that I was super obsessed with the character Jonas Kahnwald or anything, but I had just finished watching it and so it was the first name that came to mind.

Jon Forty One is a cultist hockey player who is pretty much an asshole to most people, even team mates. Mainly due to his minors experience and having gotten revenge against the league for not drafting him he is just trying to help Edmonton before is probable execution for being a failure of a player.

Hi, my name is Thunfish, although folks often call me Thun because it's shorter and it's a name I also use in other places like Steam or Discord. I was born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and still live in the city to this very day, although I wish to move abroad to somewhere colder, more comfortable and led by people with half a clue. I'm 24 years old and studying to be an accountant and speak three languages fluently (Portuguese, Spanish and English), but I'm also learning French on the side. In real life, I'm towering in height (1,94m) and did play volleyball and soccer back in school, but only played sporadically afterwards - and the pandemic essentially ended those activities, for the time being, perhaps returning at the end of the year assuming miracles happen with the vaccine.

I guess people keep me around because I'm somewhat silly and can share some fun stories about my life, I've also done some stuff like friendlies on Pro Evolution Soccer and even at a point doing a league simulation on FHM 6 but time has been a bit of an issue for me.
