S59 mPT #2 Hockey Cards

Obviously the Teddy Cuddles Hall of Fame card, is there even another choice? A special edition card for the best player in SHL history? Yes please.

Thanks to @karey and @JSS for the sigs!

The answer is going to blow your mind with its simplicity: Duncan the Walrus. Let's be real; he's a Russian walrus that knows how to play hockey. If you don't want that trading card, you're out of your mind.

Getting one of the 1st Edition Jean-Uthred Ragnarsson-Tremblay cards, prior to he realized he was spelling his name incorrectly and changed it to Jean-Uhtred Ragnarsson-Tremblay would be a pretty rare card.

There is one player that is right for a special card. That is Jimmy ^2. He is the best Jimmy and the only one that needs the card

ok so the player that will have a very valuable and very limited card in a few years time is definitely going to be whoever was daco's player. gonna become a contraband card just like the m4a4 howl skin in counter strike global offensive

Okay hear me out SHL. Practically any player who has won an award or scored a cup winning goal would be a great selection here. Throw in medal winners and the options are almost endless.

The most valuable card will be that of the king of short people and Hamilton Steelhawks legend himself, Dale Miller. As everybody surely knows, Mr. Miller had a doctor on his payroll that lied about his height when he was first signing up for the SMJHL draft, meaning that he was listed as being 5'10" tall, as opposed to his true height of just under 5'2". This means that SHL head office could make bank out of 'True Height' player cards, with the only cards being made having Dale Miller's true beautiful and short stature featured. Of course, they could still create cards with his "height" on them, but they would be much more common than the 'True Height' edition.

Joe Kortesi will. Old guy, been in the league, and it'll be obvious that a HOF player will be one of these cards. We'll never know why it is Joe Kortesi. Maybe because they made so few cards of him that it is rare enough. Maybe because he was actually an alright player.

I think most valuable card will be a shiny Eko van Otter with alternate Dark Lord skin, showing EVO in all his otter glory but engulfed in shadow and with red glowing eyes (@hotdog)

At the moment I am not really sure about it, because I haven't heard about period with these cards will represent so at this point I am really clueless.

Not gonna thank anyone

There are many candidates. I think one of them is Esa Anrikkanen who played more than 20 seasons in SHL which is impressive. I hope my player could have such a long career.

SHL trading cards are right around the corner, let's transport ourselves a few years in the future: which player will have the SHL equivalent of a first edition shadowless Charizard (as in very rare and very valuable)?

With the league being 59 seasons old now, there have been so many legends who have stepped onto the ice and played in the SHL it is very hard to pick out who would be this player. I feel like Esa Anrikkanen has the potential to be such a card, but it will be interesting to see who it is at the end of the day.

Thank you Fever, sköldpaddor and OD for the amazing sigs!

I think it goes without saying, the rare card should be SHL legend, Esa Anrikannen. He is arguably the greatest player in league history and would be one hell of a card to acquire.

I'm going to go a little off the wall and say Tony Pepperoni will have one of the rarest first edition cards. The dude just doesn't seem to die. He is old as dirt and is certainly in the top tier of players to ever play the game and I think because of this his card is going to be ridiculously valuable and hard to find.

Oh man this is difficult, I feel that personally the rare cards would more than likely be the players that made an impact but had short careers, do I have an example unfortunately no I don’t as I don’t know enough SHL history but for the sake of the PT ill choose my previous player Patrice Nadeau.
