S59 mPT #4 Cup Favorite

When will Hamilton's deal with the FHM Devil end? I'm serious, there hasn't been a time when they were bad under the rules, they have always been consistently excellent. Now of course that has also got plenty to do with their excellent drafting and player retention but they should not be this consistently excellent! It is more likely to have one bad season than it is to be this consistent. It's almost applaudable... if I wasn't convinced it wasn't entirely done by black magic and blood sacrifices

I'm really sick of seeing Hamilton as the favourite so for the sake of not supporting that I'm going to say Chicago wins it all once again. They've had a better season after being screwed by the Great Lakes last season so it would be nice to see them win it before the realignment.

I don't follow the SHL too closely, but I will root for my old team, the Buffalo Stampede to win. They have my favorite SHL player in Monkey D. Luffy, so there's no way that the team can be stopped. I think they may have underperformed a tad bit, but they're a playoff animal - they'll trample the competition.

I think the easy cup favourite is the most obvious answer and that is the Steelhawks. They have such a complete team with so much playoff success that it is hard to doubt a team like that especially with players like Aaron Wilson taking a step up.

As the GM of the Hamilton Steelhawks, I am going to say we are the favorites but I feel like parity is getting better in the league. I think there is about 5 teams that could win it any given year, we might be the favorites this season but I expect that to change and at the end of the day. FHM still has some RNG and an upset is possible. It just have rarely happened in SHL so far.

At the time of writing, it is very clear that the favorites going into the playoffs this season should once again be the Hamilton Steelhawks. They have the most point in the league, in the toughest division, while also sitting in second place in the league in both goals for and against, showing that they are an equally balanced team that will be a juggernaut from now until whenever their last game comes. I suspect it will be in the playoff finals for the win, but it would come down to wire if they were to be eliminated at any point. 101w

Because I doubt that if I just repeat the word Hamilton 25 times it does not count as hitting the word count so they have been in finals all but once so I'm not surprised at all if they are there once again.

you must mean the juniors cup, obviously this is the year that the Kraken finally get over the hump and win it all just as we should have every year! Lets go boys!

The favorite to win the cup this year are absolutely the NewFoundland Beserkers. The serks this year are kicking ass and taking names and I absolutely see this continuing into playoff time. Lets go Serks and if we lose again in the first or second round I might cry.

the new orleans specters are best team in league and will win the challenged cup where children under 13 years old are able to participate in a non-contact tournament at the end of the season

Without futher ado I present the deliberation of my hard thoughts, countless sleepless nights spent scouring the stats over the past 25 seasons to come to this shockingly revelatory predicition. Folks hang onto your hats here cause here i go: I think BAP will BAP

I may be biased, but Chicago has as good of a chance as any team of winning it this year. They have a solid record and if someone can upset Hamilton, there's pretty much no one standing in their way.

I don't think FHM shown so far that results change between regular season success and playoffs success. There hasn't been a single surprise team winning the cup since the switch. STHS was far from being the best but at least a lower seed could win the whole thing. It's sad to know besides Hamilton, Chicago, Buffalo and Texas no one else participating in the playoffs stand a chance.

I will be boring and select Hamilton Steelhawks as the champions because they will get the Presidents cup. Currently, they are 1st and have the least amount of games played so my choice is based on the current standings.

Regrettably I have to say Hamiltom is the favorites for the Cup. They are a perennial contender since the FHM era and I don't see that stopping anytime soon
