Like: The quality of the sims. Personally, I think the sims are easy to follow and enjoyable. To the extent that I have a gripe with the setup, it is that some matchups are omitted via the quick-sim feature.

Dislike: The search function on the site’s main page. Finding announcements and what not can be difficult at times.

I think updating is still the biggest hurdle for new and old people to get through. It is tedious even for people that have the system down. I wouldn't change the graphics system I think changing to a committee was a great move.

One thing I love about this league that stands out to me is the bank. I used to be a banker back when we used spreadsheets. When the new bank came it made the job so much easier. One thing that I could change & that’s just me being picky is some of the simmers need to slow down on the scores so I can screenshot lol.

I adore the emphasis on community and inclusiveness. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming, this attitude is contagious. Especially around live events, sims, as well as drafts. Super engaging and fun.
I have been beating this drum for a while, and wont stop until it happens. We need an all-animal team in the IIHF. Animals don't respect human borders, and need something else to play for

I think the camaraderie that we have on the site is second to none for sure, we make some amazing friendships and meet some amazing people along the way

I'd like to see less drama involved in things. Not everyone makes the best move for their team/player every time, but we're all here to play a game and at the end of the day, I think we should remember that

I like that dark mode is readily available. I live in a cave and pages with light backgrounds cause me to go blind for hours. I don't like how much PT happens during the off-season. It's hard to keep track of everything.

The best: the new index rules, the bank makes knowing how much you have and buying whatever so easy, the live drafts and sims are amazing - especially the last few drafts.

The worst: please make a dark mode available for the index. It burns my eyes every night.

I have come to appreciate all the recent forum improvements of the past couple years, from automatic banking to the implementation of the new index.
I still feel disconnected from the sim itself as boxscores are still missing (but hopefully coming soon). If I had any suggestions for next area of improvement would be a more streamlined version of the updating process.

One thing that certainly could be improved in some manner is including box scores on the index. I understand that this is a challenge given FHM, but a simple solution would be to have the youtube video of that game day posted in the game link (perhaps even having timestamps to specific games).

It's tricky to hammer down just one thing, but if I had to take one it'd be the overall seriousness/professionalism of this league. I know this sounds silly and we like to goof around a lot on here, but if you take a step back and realize the amount of planning, organization and time it takes to put together each season (and especially the offseason) it's wild to think this isn't someone's full time job. When non-league friends ask how this league works and I say it's just a bunch of peeps spending their free time to have fun they often fail to grasp it haha.

Oops, we need a constructive criticism too. I've been around a while and I'm used to it now, but a cleaner way to update your player (almost like a store where you can use your tpe as currency) would be really cool. Obvious drawbacks would be if you need to change anything, which is a nice perk of the current system.

i love how goalie tpe doesnt matter, like at all, its a super good thing to have and i love that HO has worked to do absolutely nothing when it comes to goalie tpe

The thing I love the most about this site has to be how well organized it is, also the automatic banking that's pretty cool. It flows pretty easily, separating the SHL and SMJHL stuff is cool bc it helps new players find their way.

As generic and lame as this is, I just love the idea of the entire SHL. It's so cool to have a group of hundreds(?) of people all participating in this ever-expanding league. It's great for those who want to really focus on it and go all-in with media and graphics, and it's also great for more laid-back people that just want to do some PTs to pass the time.

For one thing that I'd change, I'd make the main forum page a little less.....busy I guess. I don't think there's necessarily anything here that doesn't have a point and purpose, but I don't find myself very often cruising through the forums aside from Player Progression and General every once in a while. That's likely just me though.

The absolute best thing about the site is the people. Without the amazing group of people here there would be absolutely no reason for me to come back.

The worst thing about the site is probably the people as well. Tempers run high some times and in general people can be assholes.
