Prompt 2

Down by 1 - This may be one of the most satisfying positions to be in as a player (assuming you get the win in the end).  If you are down by one, but outplaying the other team, they know it is only a matter of time that you tie the game up.
Tie - this may hold the most tense aspect of games as a player, especially in the third period or overtime.  Myself being someone who has experienced many overtime games as a player, there is not greater or worse feeling that having the tie broken.  You either leave the rink on an absolute euphoric high, or pissed off hoping you get a chance next time.
Up by 1 - if you shouldn't be "aka, not the better team", being up by one can almost feel like a trap, or false accomplishment.  But it can absolutely fuel the fire to keep pouring them in if possible.

Give me a tied game, winner takes all, there is nothing better

Written Task: You are tasked with planning the royal wedding of two SHL players. Who are these players? Who will be at the wedding? Does it go well? Who crashes it? Give me all the juicy details from my trash magazine article. Remember, hockey is for everyone, and this marriage can be between players of any or no gender or species. (150+ words)

The SHL royal wedding for S63 shall commence between the royal parties of one @Keven and myself! After meeting during a game night in the QCC LR, they hit it off and that is how the love story begins.

Keven decided to propose back in December after only knowing me for about a few weeks and I was flabbergasted about it. But I did say yes when he proposed to me during a discord call.

We would DM daily and talk about our days and what is going on in the world of the SHL. Also we would play countless amount of league of legends and lose a majority of those games. Thankfully today we managed to secure a victory.

Some guests I hope that will attend will be members of the QCC organization, S62 draft class members, KEL LR, MTL LR, EDM LR and SFP LR.

Some special attractions at the wedding will have fancy finger foods, alcoholic beverages and a wicked DJ playing awesome tunes.

Hope to see you all there during our special day!

Prompt 2

Speaking from personal experience as a SMJHL Co-GM, by far the most stressful is watching a playoff series unfold in front of you, and come down to a Game 7. In GFG first season, I believe our first round matchup was STL, and we were down 3 games to 1, and by some miracle clawed back to win the series in 7 games. That was by far the most stressed I had every been watching the actual streams. No other games came close in my players career noting that I was never able to make it out of the first round of the playoffs in my 6 season on New England and most of the games ended in sweeps or a loss in 5 games. Therefore , by far and it isn’t even close, watching streams as a GM is definitely more tense, and you work towards building something for seasons and then pray that FHM doesn’t do you dirty, and you can see the work pay off.

Prompt 1:
I think as a GM there's always more tension and anticipation as you put in so much time and effort into building the team and getting them testing and simming as well as they can be. A close game that I can recall is a game 7 playoff game against the Kelowna Knights the season they won the cup. It was the quarterfinals and the Whalers miraculously had a 3-2 series lead heading into Game 6 which they lost. This forced a game 7 where I believe the Whalers were up by 2 goals before the Knights came storming back in the 3rd period to win the game in OT. Although the Whalers weren't expected to have pushed the Knights that far, it was still tense regardless as co-GM at the time. This actually mirrored another tense game were the Toronto North Stars pushed the Buffalo Stampede to a Game 7 OT in the semi-finals before getting knocked out. Similarly, it's having the lead which makes the heartbreak more intense, but this time I was just a middling player on the team.

I have been commissioned to plan the royal wedding of a power throuple in a crossover between the Simulation Hockey League and the Simulation Soccer League. From the SHL we have Narboza Manyhands, it is customary in their family that with many hands they also have many partners. In Narboza Manyhands time here, he has grown fond of the sport that many call soccer, which was found confusing to him because you use your foot, but you do wear longer than normal daily socks so he will let is slide this time. Narboza has grown fond of the soccer player, A Singular Tub of FazeBerry ® GFuel ® Energy Formula - The Official Drink of ESports ® He was introduced to A Singular Tub of FazeBerry ® GFuel ® Energy Formula - The Official Drink of ESports ® from watching a talk show and then used promo code: 7 to save 20%. From then on, it was love it gives Narboza Manyhands nostalgia, it reminds him of the common beverage from his home but with a slight sting that Narboza likes. After Narboza gets their hands on A Singular Tub of FazeBerry ® GFuel ® Energy Formula - The Official Drink of ESports ® there tends to be a mess, this is where the member that holds this throuple together comes in. Towlie, brings cleanliness to the team as well as classic pastimes such as "wanna get high", "lab exploration fiasco", "don't forget to bring a towel", and everybody's favorite "playing funky town on a keypad".

Prompt 2

We were in the finals against the Berserkers. They took the first game pretty easily so we knew the second game in the series was going to be really important. The game started out with both teams exchanging early goals and it was looking like maybe it was going to be a sloppy game but both teams settled in. Newfoundland were up to their usual cheap shots but the boats withstood it and put up a heroic response with Dom standing on his head. The game remained tied and although it was extremely stressful, there was no time to worry as the game had to be played.
Ultimately we lost the 2nd game and eventually the series when someone from the other team scored a goal in OT to beat us. I would have to say that even though it was extremely stressful being tied during the game, that was nothing in comparison to being down a goal in overtime.
So I guess my answer would be it is the most stressful being down a goal over all the other situations mentioned.

Task 2

Good question. At first, I would like to say that close games are much more entertaining and enjoyable for players than games where other team is too powerful and wins by many goals. As a player, you really enjoy the atmosphere of close games especially if you manage to win those close games like 3-1 or 4-3. Especially third periods are so much fun when everyone takes care of details and don't want to make any mistakes. Every mistake can cost a goal. But yeah, I would say the most tense match is still a game where you are leading by 1 and try to hold that lead but at the same time you put some effort on counter-attacks and try to close the match. Those moments I enjoy personally most as player but also as a stream spectator. I remember last season's IIHF gold medal match for example against Canada. We led 1-0, 2-0 and then 3-1 in the third period. It was fun to watch our Finns defensive battle against powerhouse Canada.

This is an interesting prompt, but to be fair, there is not really that much to plan for the wedding i am thinking about, as they already share everything in their life pretty much. So it would be more like simply signing the deal to make it somewhat a bit more official, so that they can get their cap tax breaks, who gets the players in case of separation and who gets to keep the championship rings that they still do not have, but might in 50 years. I am obviously talking about @Z-Whiz and @Crunk. Do not agree with me? Think about it. Everytime we see them on discord, they are just disagreeing with each other about everything. Then they make up for a couple days, until something else comes up. After that they just bitch about each other to different people, while being all smiles when the other is around.

I mean, i have literally told them it is a bit toxic, but then they tell me i am the toxic one for making up some stuff. Crazy.

In a game that you are up by one goal, there really isn't a lot of tenson. You're in the driver's seat at that point. The team that scores first wins two thirds of the time. In the case where you are down by a goal, there is a kind of pressure, but that pressure is at least tempered by the fact that you must attack. There is little conflict in deciding when to press hard, especially if you are down by one goal late in a game. Finally, a tie game anytime in regulation time is still fairly comfortable. You just play your normal system and execute the best that you can. As the clock winds down in the third period, the pressure begins to climb further. Here, you must pay special attention to positioning and to avoid mental lapses. One mistake and the game could be over with a plus one added to the "L" column.

Finally, it is in a tie game in overtime in the playoffs that we experience the greatest pressure. In order to win, you must score. In order not to lose, you must prevent the other team from scoring. When that tension breaks, there is either heartbreak or joy. The greatest example of this for me was witnessing the Sabres "May Day" goal to beat the Bruins in 1993. We'd rather hold on to memories of the joy than to hold on to heartache.

PROMPT 2

To be honest I can't watch games if I'm in the goal, I don't wanna see a bum get pummeled with pucks, like come on who wants to see that. Well the opponent probably, but I mean if that bum is your goalie. So a week ago I had some fever and very crazy dizzyness, like I woke up and everything was just spinning, even when I was laying down. I wasn't even drunk! Well despite this dizzyness I grabbed my phone and checked how some of the preseason games had gone, cause I like to check how we did, even if I don't watch the games themselves. Also it's not always feasible for me to watch them, since most of the time they're at 2-3am my time. Best time was last summer when they were at 7pm my time and I feel like alot of people watched the games then aswell. But what I mean to say is that I bet it's very stressful either way, wether you're a gm or what ever, it's all crazy out there huh.
