Technically we start at 0.
Our 0 is 155. Numbers make sense when you try not to think about them.
we should start players in infancy, honestly, for maximum realism. Not everyone who wants to play hockey is even good enough to play at the juniors level, so we should make people play 17 years of youth hockey before they have a chance to make it in juniors.

well TECHNICALLY you couldn't play organized hockey until probably like 4 or 5 at the youngest, and you can play juniors at 16, therefore maybe like, 10-12 years, and AAA, and and and and

yeah but you can start building those SKILLS from birth. you don't invest in the appropriate thing to hang over your crib at three months old, your hand-eye coordination suffers and your puckhandling is GARBAGE by the time you play for the Kalamazoo Pine Cones at age 5.
