Regina Elk fans bring official hockey pucks to toss out onto the ice. That way a couple can be stashed away around each net while the cleanup takes place and then multiple pucks can be put into play later and other pucks can be released inside the opponent's net. Deception is the spirit of the holidays.

Honestly its a great question and I think the obvious 'no wrong answer' here is stuffed animal of any kind. Everyone loves a stuffed animal, from otters to turtles to traditional bears. No one is left out and everyone has a chance to toss their favorite and classic toy.

The San Francisco Pride have a theme night once per season where fans can buy a stuffed version of the team's lion mascot and throw it on the ice during the 2nd intermission. People love doing this and all the proceeds go to a local children's hospital.

Our team’s fans for a Chicago Syndicate home game brought stuffed bunnies to throw on the ice in support of team general manger JNH’s beloved bunny named Feta.

The Colorado Raptors faithful actually bring tonnes of soup cans and chuck them onto the rink so it can all go to the local food shelters! It sometimes hits the players, but its the thought that counts

Toronto North Stars fans join the bandwagon of just throwing stuffed animal plushies. Louise St. Martin's favorite animal is the fox (as if the username didn't make it obvious), so those are pretty frequent sightings.

Since the Anchorage Armada are nicknamed the Boats, we ask all fans to bring a Life Vest or a Inflatable Life Saver. WOuld be easy to toss, not dangerous to bring to the arena and can also be donated to various Beaches, Pools, Boats and Boating Clubs for safety reasons

To keep in spirit with kraken traditions, a series of plushies were released to host a kraken themed plushie toss night. The classic kraken and eottird will obviously be available, as well as a ghastly frankensteinesk creation of a half kraken half eottird. (43 words)

As a penguin obsessed with charity, Adelie always insists his fans bring tons and tons of fish to throw into the rink for charity. It both helps to feed the needy and the penguin!

I would ask my fans to throw stuffed owls onto the ice because our team logo is an owl. Plus stuffed owls are cute to be honest.

"For safety reasons, the Kelowna Knights organization would like to remind fans NOT to throw wine bottles on the ice. We would remind fans NOT to throw medieval weapons. *super fast* The Kelowna Knights organization is not responsible for any personal injury, damage, expense, or loss of any kind suffered by the spectators during, or as a result of our game, caused in any manner whatsoever. We play in Seattle, the city known for throwing fish around the market, so what do you think they toss out there? I can't say it isn't dangerous for massive fish to be flying on the ice with players out there, but traditions are traditions!

The Falcon plushie is one of the hottest items sold at the shop inside the home arena, it's selling like hot cakes and so it only makes sense that the fans bring in a plush of the Falcons to use for this cause.
