I have high physical stats. If the sim turned on injuries, I would pump all of my TPE into those stats in order to become the biggest rat this side of Shoresy in Sudbury

Why wouldn't you want to turn injuries on? Let's get some players who completely bust out of the league and restart because they can't even get a career started. Extra hard, extra tough, makes for more parity in the league.

I used to be very much against injuries being turned on, and I still am, but not as much. I rarely find the time to watch the sims anyway, so whether my player actually plays or not, it's not that important to me. But the good thing would be that it would create more stories.

Sound fun on paper, but I can tell you that if I am always injured for half the season, I would be a little pissed, and probably would not stay in the league long term

Injuries would be FANTASTIC since it would allow Cheeks to be a first liner after he hacks off the knees of the other defensemen on the team. No further comment or explanation needed.

Turning on injuries is bad for the simple reason that everyone comes here to make a player and enjoy themselves. Imagine putting hard work into your player and then you get injured and are out for a couple of games or for the season. That would definitely deter people from creating and sticking around.

Hmmm I think it could go either way but players could get mad if they keep getting injured every season missing a couple of games. Will also just kinda sucked if it was a serious injury and you just missed out on like your peak TPE season.

Bad Idea. Imagine putting the work in to be a max earner and game 1 your player has a season ending Injury. The only positive part is ot may allow lower TPE players play in bigger roles.

Well we would have too add a attribute for that aswell I think call it somthing along the lines of toughness and it would be neet but idk would suck for some people as well

I think that it would take a lot of active users away from the forum. Many users won't be here if they are player are somehow injured for a full season. It has to be a bit unrealistic to still have an interest from members. Injuries would ruin fun for many users.

Injuries would be so beat. WHy spend all the time I do earning money to make my player better when he would just be hurt for the season? Dumb idea.

I believe turning injuries on would add another level of realism to the sim but unfortunately I think it may also drive away users. If a player is out for the remainder of the season it may be hard for a newer user to stay involved if his player is inactive. This makes me think turning injuries on in the SHL only would be something to think about. Maybe even set a max time like 2 weeks a player could be out? Could be interesting..
