Option 1:
Written Task: Your player has created a new analytics stat for the local hockey blog that you worked with earlier this season. What's the stat, how does it work, and which team is best at it? The stat does not have to make sense or have practical real-life analytical use, just have fun. After spending a while of hmming and hawing about a new and interesting stat to make a blog post about (that would of course count Chicago amongst the elite). Alexandros had finally found his answer, the stat to track which from what he could see that Chicago excelled at was surely tracking each teams amount of animal players! Several teams have a few whether it be a dog or a Pokémon or what have you but none have the sheer depth of animals of the Syndicate. From what I have seen Chicago has an impressive 5 animal roster players between a dog in net, a penguin and a balloon popping monkey on defense and a moose and a shark playing forward. Upon further inspection on this I believe this is in fact the reason for Chicago’s unexpected success this season as teams are confused and don’t know how to handle playing so many animals when they skate out on the ice! -161 words ![]() Player Updaters Player Updaters ![]() Commissioner allegedly doing stuff
Before going into details on this, let me preface this by saying I don't agree with this stat, nor do I think its indicative of a good thing, but its just something i need to point out. The stat is skrees per 60. The reason for this is that I wanted to analyze of many skrees per 60 teams said and if success was influenced by this, and going back over seasons to see about it.
Unsurprisingly, the stinky Detroit Falcons have a skree per sixty that is through the roof, and to some credit, they've been pretty good this season. The issue I can see is that it hasn't been the case in previous seasons, which clearly shows an issue with the strategy, but also doesn't seem to help how stinky you can be, which is proven by the insufferable stench, especially from the skg alumni who seemingly hasn't seen a drop of soapy water, truly a miserable existence. Safe to say, i'll keep my skrees on a low moving forward. @"jason kranz" sig elite / @sulovilen elite sig

Teal'c would love the chance to see how defensive duo players play together. So he thought up DDD. Introducing the "Dynamic Defensive Duo" (DDD), a hockey stat that shines a spotlight on defensive pairings' ability to seamlessly work together and neutralize opponents. DDD goes beyond individual player metrics, emphasizing the synergy between two defensemen.
Calculated by evaluating the percentage of successful defensive plays made jointly by a designated pairing, factored against the total time spent on the ice together, DDD offers a unique insight into the effectiveness of defensive partnerships. As coaches and analysts integrate DDD into their strategies, the stat becomes a practical tool for optimizing defensive pairings, emphasizing the importance of collaboration in shutting down opposing offenses. The Islanders' success with DDD highlights the impact of synchronized defensive efforts in shaping the outcome of real games. Quote:190 Words ![]() ![]() ![]() Registered Posting Freak
Prompt 1
Yes, is true, Patya have create new analytical stat for hockey blog. You want for know what it is? Patya am now telling you. This stat am called style per 60, or style/60. This stat analyze how much style points teams am scoring during games. This way, peoples am knowing which teams am most exciting for watch from style standpoint. This much important for player like Patya, who am playing hockeys with much style. Patya thinking if we judge style pre-game, why not judging style during game? Is making much sense to Patya! Now maybe you am saying "Patya, this stat much too difficult for judge because is personal opinion!" Yes, this true. This system actually based entirely off Patya sense of style in game. Maybe this unfair, but is just for funs. Obviously, New Orleans Ghostmans am most stylish because Patya am be playing there. Other players am much stylish too, but Patya just weigh stat so heavily! ![]() Registered Senior Member ![]() Registered Senior Member

Dotted line = Pass
Straight line = Skate without the puck Squiggly line = Skating with puck Two lines at the end of a skate = Stop Two parallel lines = Shot! ![]() The play begins with us baiting the opponent winger to help their pinned center behind the net. A quick pass to Frøya starts the play as i rush into the neutral zone. After receiving the pass from my sister i rush as fast as i can into the offensive zone to force the defence to try and catch up from behind. In the meantime Frøya and Shawn race to where they need to be. I pass the puck to Frøya while Shawn gets open. After forcing the defence to overcommit to get the puck off of me i quickly pass the puck along the boards to my sister who finds a way to pass the puck to Shawn who skates inside and scores!

Your player must be directly involved in the play, including goalies. The play goes like this: First, the goalie gets the puck. Usually this will involve stopping it when it’s a low shot and hits up against his pads. Then, the goalie corrals the puck to Jae-Ik who is standing next to the crease. Crucial at this point is the opposing team’s reaction to this sequence of events. If the opposing team is still skating hard and in on the play, then the jig is up and play continues as usual. But if the other team thought that the puck was frozen, then their guard will be let down, and a golden opportunity for Jae-ik will have presented itself. You see, sometimes goalies have rituals. Little things they do on the ice to maintain their focus, or even just out of habit. Commonly, goalies will skate out to the corners and get in their heads a little bit. This is what Jae-ik wants. If he can get them out to the corner while the puck is still in play, he has an empty net he can shoot at. The other team usually complains to the ref that they thought the play was dead, but if there was no whistle then they have no leg to stand on. ![]() Media Graders Posting Freak |
