Written Option 2: Your player is put in charge of helping plan the team Christmas party! What sort of games do they plan? What food and drink does your player decide to bring for the party? How does the party go with their teammates? Does anyone do anything wild at the party? If so, who? What happened to lead up to that event?
Norwegian jul (Christmas) for the win!
When Norwegians celebrate ‘jul‘ today, they honor both Christian and ancient Norse traditions that have fused to create the unique celebration we know today. Here are some of the most common dishes from the Norwegian Christmas traditions:
Ribbe: Roasted pork belly, usually served with sauerkraut and boiled potatoes, Christmas sausages, meatballs, and gravy.
Pinnekjøtt: Salted, dried, and sometimes smoked lamb ribs.
Lutefisk: Stockfish that has been lying in water and lye (a way to preserve fish in the old days), then cooked in the oven.
Aquavit: A potato-based spirit flavoured with herbs such as caraway seeds, anise, dill, fennel, and coriander.
All the participants can choose from this menu and also have beer and julebrus (Christmas soda) while eating. It will be a wild Christmas party with a lot of singing and dancing around the Christmas tree. Some entertainment will also be shown with a projector on the wall. The classics “Three Wishes for Cinderella” the Czech movie from 1973 and “Dinner for One” from 1963.
“The Wheel of Time turns, and Ages come and pass, leaving memories that become legend. Legend fades to myth, and even myth is long forgotten when the Age that gave it birth comes again. ... There are neither beginnings nor endings to the Wheel of Time. But it was a beginning.”

It is the gold medal game at the S80 IIHF tournament hosted by Quebec and the historic rivalry of Czechia and Japan has been renewed with a freak finals appearance by the teams. A high octane and exciting game, the teams head into overtime after plenty of scoring to keep everyone entertained.
It is nearly halfway through the first over-time, and with all the mistakes being made throughout the game, it is clear we will not be waiting long. A breakout from Czechia's 4th line gains momentum, jumping from the defensive zone to the neutral on a bullet pass, only for the puck carrier to be hauled down just over centre. A power play in overtime? A gift from the gods!
The powerplay unit comes on, but Petr stays out as one of the defenseman. The centre tells Petr to pass him back the puck once the face off is won, so that they can make a play into open ice. The play starts off perfectly: the puck is won to Petr off the draw, and Petr hesitates, seeing the seas part. With all his might, Petr winds up for a slapshot and fires away, puck rippling the twine, to win gold. The calls of "Je to tam" ring out and the drought is over.

HIRE ARTY
Twas the Night before Christmas,
And after winning three to one,
Not a creature was planning,
Not even a Juan,
The night was cold,
But the fireplace was alight,
And to the rescue,
Was Langston that Night,
He texted and Chirped,
and called one and all,
To bring cheer for his team,
And to generally have a ball,
The games he brought,
Included a reindeer, a tail to pin,
A few sets of Catan,
And even a dreidel to spin,
The party would be peaceful,
Very mindful, and very demure,
Because we have a lot of rookies,
And their hearts are innocent and pure,
The food would be provided by Langston,
He makes more than most of the team,
He cooks it himself, with help from a few,
With passion and his eyes did gleam,
Finally, It is time to say farewell,
Many came and enjoyed the sight,
Winnipeg’s season is far from over,
Good night to all and to all a good night.
Written Option 2: For Slava Ukraini Heroyam Slava when he was put in charge of planning the Toronto North Stars. Slava Ukraini Heroyam Slava brings their unique blend of thoughtfulness and playful creativity to ensure it is a night to remember for all of his North Stars teammates. Slava Ukraini Heroyam Slava made sure the event is designed to be festive, fun, and inclusive, reflecting their belief that off ice bonding is as crucial as on ice teamwork to improve the Toronto North Stars weak regular season record to start the season. Slava Ukraini Heroyam Slava ended up organizing a mix of activities that appeal to the entire Toronto North Stars which included a fun Christmas karaoke competition to see who can sing their hearts out to the most festive tunes. Slava Ukraini Heroyam Slava also set up an ugly sweater contest that would be ranked with complete with categories like most hideous with small funny prizes.
A team Christmas party would be something of a matter of doing things for the players who are around for it. Given that quite a few players can quite easily fly home for the holidays, tailoring things for the players who are actually around makes the most sense. Therefore making an attendance list is key, and of those expected to stay home for Montreal, I’d wager it would look something like; Jussi Mutou, Rodrigo Banes, Johnny Patey V2, Emil Karlsson, Demir Bellona, Song Ju-gong, Jamie Fraser, Deth Klaw, Swedish Chef, and Clarence Worley. Given this cast, something more traditionally European would fit the group best. In this case something along the lines of heading out onto the town to see lights in the city and parks would be best. Enjoying cocoa and coffee while stopping by the occasional deli or bar to get some refreshments. Ontop of it all, a little white elephant gift party would also be a fitting activity for a bunch of locker room com-patriotes.
If my player, Leonard Wood, was put in charge of the planning of the Philadelphia Forge Christmas Party, it would be canceled. Let's face it, no one wants to spend more time with their coworkers for a Christmas party. We already travel together, play games together, stay in hotels together, and practice together. If anything, Christmas is a chance to get away from your teammates for a bit to spend some time with family. Its a chance to recharge a little bit then get back out on the ice and finish the season strong. So we will all celebrate Christmas (or whatever my teammates celebrate) by exchanging some gifts in the locker room before the last game before Christmas. Then we will regroup after the holiday break and kick some ass. No forced socializing, no pressure of dressing up, no having to worry about food to bring. But that doesn't mean the owners should stop the holiday bonuses though. We need those!

Too young for this shit
The season's upon us, it's that time of year
Those goddamned whalers fans begin to cheer
The lights in the rink go off and the wreaths are hung
As dumb vancouverites have songs to be sung
There's overtime now and the boats are gung-ho
Dieter knows that if he scores there's a snipe ready to go
The puck is now dropped and it's all going fine
If you think your team's crazy, well you should see mine
Our forwards are silky and they have too much fun
They deked out that whalers blueliner, and there are seemingly none
They then pass to me, and I think that that's it
But I slowly realize that I can't shoot for shit
I pass the puck like it's a football
It arrives at the stick of Chris McZharl
Who takes a nice shot and the puck hits the net
As those whalers fans are left lonely, distraught, and depressed
Leo and Minty ( @Wrehkz ) out celebrating Christmas while living abroad in Canada. Their GM @Frenchie was kind enough to join them to make the fellas feel loved!
They, for some reason ,unknown to us all, put me in charge of setting up the Christmas party. The first thing we did this year is cover and protect the ice. Olof and Sconnie still haven't forgiven us for the melted ice in the crease. So we throw down protective flooring to ensure we don't mess up the ice. After that is out of the way, we decorate with all the Holiday stuff from before. Lights, candles, poles with various streamers, the works. Then we get the tables out for us all to have places to eat and set up kids games for all the kids that will come. As usual we have all the event stalls up and running, and then we open the Arena up to all those families in need. Lastly we spend the rest of the money on gifts for all those kids. Special thanks to management for letting us help out!
As anticipation creeps ever closer, Minty looks forward to seeing everyone at the Christmas Party, A Merry Minty Christmas. Minty ensured everyone had something to do, he put a net out back so the other players can have a skills competition and the winner would get a nice big present that Minty made himself. A little PC corner for anyone who brought their setups, it seems some have been play a game recently called Marvel Rivals. A couple board games for the guys who like some of the classics such as Monopoly, Sorry, and Jenga. For those who feel more sophisticated he put out a couple chess boards and planned to hold a tourney if anyone was interested. Minty decided it'd be best to hold a pot luck style party so everyone could bring what they wanted to. The backup plan was pizzas for everyone that rolled their eyes seeing Frenchie bring out the hot dogs. The party went great, everyone brought such delicious foods, DJ Leo played the best musical tunes, and the skills competition was tons of fun for the squad with winner Spaceman Spiff taking home a nice wooden bench that Minty had been working on. The whole team signed the bench and they all took a pic holding it up. A full team effort of a party that ended with laughs and chuckles all around. Merry Christmas Highlanders.
Everyone says OT is the best,
with one point secured you can nearly rest.
One thing stands between the Rage and a win,
Three Blizzard skaters and Ally Mathieson.
The score is four four and a decision must be made,
Everyone wonders which skaters will be played.
On Murdock! On Sundqvist! On Kove! Says the coach.
An interesting trio, according to most.
Kove takes place at the dot, a familiar position,
Refusing to be daunted by the strong opposition.
The faceoff is won! Rage fans cheer in delight,
They know their team will put up a good fight.
Sundqvist skates back to the defensive zone,
Surveying the ice to see where enemies might be prone.
Gathering speed, he bursts forward in a rush,
As the crowd falls to a silent hush.
Rage enter the zone with plenty of skill,
So Murdock goes to screen the goalie's grill.
A clean pass is made and Kove gets the puck,
He shoots, he scores! Rage win! What luck!
The arena erupts, Christmas joy in the air.
The Blizzard fans leave, feeling bits of despair.
But those feelings don't last, they're soon replaced,
When Santa leaves gifts by the warm fireplace.
