Hello everyone and welcome to the SHL Awards Nominations! We’ve got a fun and exciting season of incredible nominations, and we’re excited to tell you all about them! We’ve also made some changes to some of the awards this season and I think it’s important for everyone to read through and recognize those changes! Don’t forget to read all the way to the end to find a link to 1 free TPE! Let’s get into things here! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1st Overall Winner:  Minnesota Monarchs Eastern Almost made its:  New England Wolfpack Western Almost made its:  New Orleans Spectres Dumpster Trophy (worst Season Record): Minnesota Monarchs —-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Individual Awards: Best Faceoff Award! Juan Tymer: 1 Win 0 losses - 100% record Most Time on Ice! Ace Lightning: 1697 minutes! Nice! Goodest person award! (Least amount of Penalty Minutes) Galton Woggins: 0 penalty minutes! Only 1 game played IT STILL COUNTS Most Positive Player! (Best +/-) Journey Man: +46 —------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Nominations: John McBride Award (Best Goaltender) Goalies can’t score goals and because of that they can never win MVP but at least that have the McBride to win. Here are the most winingest goalies this season: Justin Time: 40 Wins Base Pack: 33 Wins Anthony Dionne: 32 Wins Scott Stevens Award (Best Defenseman) We all know the best defense is a good offense. Here are the defenseman who scored the most goals this season: Kal Akar Kekkonen Kaarlo Koivunen Ace Lightning Bojo Biscuit Award (Best Defensive Defenseman) *** We are renaming the Bojo Award*** Big news! We have renamed the Bojo best defenseman to the newest best defenseman of all time: The Hodor Best Hodor Award! Here are the nominees for the Hodor! Hodor Hodor Hodor Hodor hodor hodor Hodor Hodor, hodor Hodor hodor Hodor! Hodor! Jeff Darr Award (Best Two-Way Forward) Many people wonder how we come to a decision on the best two way player. It’s of course the player who can skate the best forwards and backwards. Here are the best forward and backwards skaters this season: Shawn Pawn Max Carnage Kristian Seppanen It’s rare that wingers win the Jeff Darr but even more rare a Defenseman win the award! Good luck to them! Ryan Jesster Award (Best Rookie) Rookie cards can be very valuable and difficult to get! And in turn, card collectors with very large collections may have some of the most valuable cards! But an unopened pack could be even more valuable as it could contain the very card you need or want but you never know until you open it! Here are the nominees (players with most unopened card packs) Luke DrunkenTeddy Caltroit_Red_flames Aidan Richan Award (Most Improved) You know what’s impressive? Old vets with bad knees still out there on the ice. They’ve have to keep improving themselves in order to stay out on the ice! The Aidan Richan is now being awarded to the oldest players on the ice. Here are your nominees: William Salming Jon St. Ark Steve Harrington Lance Uppercut Award (Best GM Duo) You know what? Co GMs just don’t get enough love around here. Here are some excellent co GMs nominated for the Lance Uppercut Best CO GM Award Toronto North Stars - TheSparkyDee Texas Renegades - Anthique Buffalo Stampede - Fantobens Joe McKeil Award (Best Coach) Let’s be honest. FHM is the boss around here. All we do is pray to FHM and hope for the best. Here are the teams who have sacrificed the most to the FHM gods in order to win hockey games: San Francisco Pride - A threepeat in this economy? What are you guys sacrificing over there? New England Wolfpack - Luke has the original FHM ceremonial dagger in which to perform FHM sacrifices Montreal Patriotes - A rise in standing this season, clearly fresh blood on the altar Damian Littleton Award (Most Dedicated User) Dedication is seen from many members of this community. Some who speak their mind a little too much and get banned. But they have made many attempts to rejoin the site with new accounts! Or harass users with their opinions until they get reported! That’s true dedication. Here are your dedicated nominees: Zap Zap’s other banned accounts Ron Mexico Award (Most Valuable Player) This season we really leaned on stats for the MVP as we always use Game Rating to help determine the best players. I'll leave it to you guys to discuss the true unopened pack leader. Awards team gets it wrong again.
