S82 mPT #4: Smoke Signal Due: Sunday, May 18th @ 11:59 PM PST
#91

As a free agent without a contract I have to spill how it was done at my former club, the Calgary Dragons. When presenting new players they emerged from the flames a big dragons huffed and puffed. While the players released to free agency left with a flaming fart.

I'm sure there are a lot of things they could do, but one unique thing that Philly does on signing threads that I've come to enjoy is all of the variations of "Accept" based on the GM's forum name.

To announce signings the Winnipeg Aurora could get a drone show in the sky and open the arena to announce in the "stars" that a player will be joining or returning to the team!

All of the criers across Quebec City announce our signings, followed by the release of owls. This is then followed by every flag at the top of every spire being raised with the QCC team logo and our beloved goal song echoing throughout the land.

This is followed by free poutine for everyone.

In Nashville, we are working with Gibson to build the world’s largest amplifier by next season, which we will use to announce to anyone within a 50 mile radius who we have just signed.

Since it's in our logo i'm all in for QCC from now on announcing everything by sending out owls with messeges everywhere. And i don't even like HP, but the owl-thingy is cool.

The Seattle Argonauts make new hires and signings come into town on a boat and dock at the harbor with thousands of people there waving at them Titanic style.

I think we should all learn cow speak, the different variants of moo's, and the subtle nuances of a well grassfed fart. For this to be a success, I think Ottawa should contract @sofiem964, the resident SHL and Ottawa LR cow connoisseur, or cownoisseur!

In true Philadelphia fashion, the Forge make the GM of the team run to the top of the Rocky Steps to announce each signing. If the team has multiple signings to announce in one day, the GM, naturally, must first run to the bottom and then run back up again before announcing each additional signing.

We can ask real cowboys or influencers with a big southern accent to do a little video announcing the news or asking people to watch the team socials to heard the latest news.

In Toronto I don't really do anything special, just on the hiring post I have a cool graphic that I post at the top that says "Toronto Signings". I feel like the contract signings arent that important but all of the posts should look nice and formal.

They for sure ride into town on a dog sled, what other way can you announce a new signing in Yukon? I think this is the correct response, either that or they get thrown into a puppy pit.

There are lots of ways, the thing i want to do is get money for those announcements. Then use that money to pay for training for @Jeffsan21 !

For example, my team could make a great media spectacle out of a player's contract, where they hype it up and ask fans to guess who the player is.
