You've done a lot of cool new things this season - what's on your highlight reel?

Tell us about some exciting/defining/noteworthy from this season - anything works, whether it be in the sim, some off-ice event, etc.

As a newbie to the league, I'm not really sure how my on ice performance has been compared to everyone else, I try to keep my eyes away from other rookies stats so I don't take away from my stats. I've got eight goals and twelve assist! I mean that's a win in my books, definitely gotta get those snipes on the highlight reel but gotta show the passing of the biscuit on there too!

My favorite highlight of mine came on the ice in the opening days of the season when I scored my first goal after being drafted and then took a 2 minute minor for unsportsmanlike conduct for screaming at the ref.

For me, it would have to be scoring my first goal in my first ever game! They say you never forget your first, and I know I won't, especially after the guys fished the puck out of the net and gave it to me as a special memento! Made me feel right at home, like part of the team!! Timber

Honestly, I think the coolest thing I have been able to do is to just get into the team and be able to meet the whole team and the staff to be honest. Nothing can beat the feeling of being in a place where you just click with others instantly.

With the way my season has been going, there isn't too much to talk about that's been noteworthy. Getting my first goal/assist/point was nice, but it's all about improvement. Games when my defense rating is strong and when I am not in the negative +/-, that's where I think the best improvement lies.

It has to be my shut out against the Newfoundland Berserkers. It has been a tough start to my career, so it was nice to finally have a good game. The team held the Berserkers to just 18 shots, which made my job quite a bit easier.

Even though my fighter hasn't been in a fight lol, it's nice to see the build I have worked out kind of working in that he has some offense and some physicality going so that's really all I was looking for in the inaugural season for him.

Points, assists, +/-, all of that is nice for sure but so far, my highlight would be ALL OF THOSE FACEOFFS I TOOK AS A DMAN! I don't know if my coach is a sadist to send me there 10 times of if he's a genius since I won 8 of them.

Shea O'Connall has been a perpetual minus player this season, despite playing for the league leading Yukon Malamutes where everyone on the team is safely into the plus territory. During a recent stretch of games where the Malamutes had an average of 6 goals a game, O'Connall was carried into plus territory as well. As a result the video coach quickly put all those clips together to show SHL teams that O'Connall is on the ice when his team scores (usually heading to or coming from the bench, but no one pays attention to that).

I cant believe it, signed as a free agent and played my first six games but some how Bobby Mcginnis Grizzlies

has eluded me but not for long, next week he will be destroyed by either hip-check or slash to the head. My highlight reel will be his final dance. I cannot wait to tell your loved ones of your passing (passes that were intercepted by me for a GA on the stat line buckaroo).

The highlight of Hodor's season so far is getting to meet Coldhands. He rides a giant elk and Hodor likes elk. Hodor only later discovered that Coldhands had no affiliation with the Regina Elk.

Jon Bell has been blocking shots left and right. Some are saying his nickname is Jon "Blocks" Bell. Will he reach 100 in a season? The fans will just have to wait.

As a goalie your first win is always a huge achievement. As the starter for the Anchorage Armada, i was fortunate to have first crack at it all. Only took two games to get it. Just so happens it came against my last SMJHL team, the St. Louis Scarecrows.

i got some goals, i got some assists. but to be honest im not doing as great as i hoped. but that also falls on me not updating for a few weeks.
