I joined the league and was quite confused, It wasn’t the easiest for me to learn the site at first but it also wasn’t to hard to get a decent understanding of how to navigate certain areas. Going into this season i’m hoping I get drafted by a team that has a great locker room and welcoming community, I don’t mind joining teams in rebuild or cup contending just looking to make some good friends on my journey.
I’ve enjoyed hockey my whole life i’m a huge Sens fan. The main thing that makes me interested in doing this is i have my sons in it aswell so we’re all gonna be progressing together even though they started last season i’ll still get 3 full seasons in the SMJHL with them which will make up for the one year I won’t be playing with them, Now i know it’s a chance i join there team and it’s not a likely one but that isn’t what i care for the fact we all get to compete together in the same league is all i care for.

As for my player i wanna be fast like Mcdavid I wanna be that guy who blows by defenders threw the middle or on the sides, I don’t care wether i score the most goals or get the most assists, I just wanna help push any team that drafts me to the next level!
My build is set to speedy forward but as i said before if the team needs more scorers or more playmakers i don’t mind switching as long as it helps the team in any possible way, I would like to stay on the offensive side of things but as i go through my first year my opinion might change i might be open to being a more defensive build but as of right now i’m looking for creating offence for my team.

My personality isn’t the most open, I wouldn’t say i’m shy but i definitely wouldn’t say i’m out going or anything like that, I do believe i will open up as i do when i get closer to certain people. I don’t have an instant locker room presence due to me not being as outgoing but I will be a locker room presence in the first-second year as i will be able to get closer with my teammates no matter who they may be.

Love your commitment to learn and grow in SHL! I was totally lost the first time I joined, and now I know this site like the back of my hand. Perservere through some of the confusing times, and I guarantee it'll all work out. So many helpful people in this community! Good luck in the draft!

Hey welcome! My first time in the league felt overwhelming. Don't worry it slowly starts making sense and becomes much easier when you get into locker rooms as GMs and players will help direct you.

That's because it was on jcink which is a nightmare

Yes it was! Still wasn't that bad, I am sure it is easier to run on here though.
