Patya had a rough first day of preseason. The team decided to shuffle the lines randomly to test our their new roster, and Patya ended up playing center on the 4th line while being very poor at faceoffs. After the day was over, the GM and coaches, along with Patya, had a small chat. "Patya am much for offense playing, am not for faceoff taking," he said. As discussions progressed, Patya said he didn't mind holding down a 3rd or 4th line center role, but that he needed a heads up beforehand so that he could work with the player coaches to get better at taking faceoffs. Everyone agreed that this wouldn't be the worst solution to the problem, as the team is a bit light on centers this season, but that Patya's dynamic offensive capabilities would be better utilized if they could make him a monster winger on an anchoring line. Patya was excited, exclaiming "WOWEE, PATYA TIME!" Yes, Patya, it IS Patya Time...at home, on the right wing, where you belong.
