I watched the last sim of the regular season, on March 14. The first game was against the Detroit Falcons. I was in net so Yay! We won 3-2. Next game was against Maine Timber, an important game, since we were battling for the top spot in the div. We lost 6-3. Oh well. Our next game was against the Vancouver whalers. We lost again, this time 4-3. Our next game was against the St Louis Scarecrows. We lost AGAIN 5-4. Our last game was against the Maine Timber, our most important game, since it decides who places top of the division. Guess what, we LOST! Now we play St Louis in the first round of the playoffs, and we don't have the greatest record against them. We just lost to them. Hope all goes well in the post season!

7. Watch an SHL or SMJHL stream on YouTube:
On first stream of S81 SMJHL I was focused only on matches of my team, Yukon Malamutes. We started season on second simulated day with flawless win against Thunder Bay Walleye 6:0 at home. Day later Mutes had duel with Nevada Battleborn, which again ended with our win, 5:2 at Nevada. Last, third game of this season, was at Thunder Bay, where we beaten Walleye 6:4. Specially for me, I have scored my first career goal, assisted for the first time at winning game goal and I was chosen as first star of the game. After six simulated streams leaderboards was shown. We had at the time four leaders: Paul Krugman with 7 assists, Djoe Anderson and Krugman again with seven points, also Anderson and Peyton McLazy had both 2 power play goals and runner-up with 4 goals was Christina Fantobens. I had best +/- in team with amount of five.

7. Watch an SHL or SMJHL stream on YouTube
- Watching the first 6 streams now and being able to hang with all of my referrals, all of us being on discord watching the streams happen, watching the day 1 pains of pressing the wrong button (as a former production director for another league it's always fun to see someone else press the wrong button Smile ) and watching someone's first goal get wiped away, only to get to re-live the experience later.  Watching Tyler Bodega come in in relief in the first game for Great Falls, only to be put up against my Quebec City team and put up a 100 rating while getting peppered with almost 70 shots was by far the highlight of the season. Also... The Yukon goal song is by far the least expected thing I've probably ever heard (100% expected howl, got borked instead)
8. Complete the Rookie Survey - Completed

Task 7:
Tonight, I watched games 1 & 2 of the playoffs. I was in a discord call with fellow rookies Jonny Hockey, Patrick, and Projectsaint.
We have hopped into calls before during sims and it's always a good time. We root each others teams on and hang out for a bit. For the beginning of the playoffs, none of the 4 of us for off to a good start, with the exception of Project saint. Both Anchorage and Carolina went down 0-2 in their series. Anchorage for run out in game 1. In game 2 they nearly completed a very impressive comeback against the Knights, but it wasn't meant to be. Allowing an empty netter, and then another goal with just seconds left.
Carolina's experience was similar. Blown out game 1, and game 2 was an epic scoring affair, losing 7-6.
Project saint's Scarecrows had a huge upset win against Ottawa in game 1 with a 8-5 win.
Although the time was good, hopefully the games tomorrow will be better.

I watched games three and four of the second round of the SHL playoffs. The Dragons and Tampa Bay had a high scoring affair that was tied four to four at the end of regulation. Atlanta scored in overtime to win it.

Next was Montreal and New England. Montreal scored the first goal early and New England answered with about two minuets to go in the first. Montreal scored in the first minuet of the second but New England answered right back. Then Montreal scored to make it three to two. New England had a five on three power play but failed to score. The teams traded power plays in the third but neither scored. New England tied it up midway through the third Then won it in overtime.

Next was San Fransisco and Seattle. Tight checking in the first until the pride score twice in the final five minuets and Seattle scores with seconds left in the first. San Fransisco scored with less than five to go in the second to go up three to one. Seattle answered early in the third to get within one. The Pride scored right after to restore the two goal lead. Seattle comes back with two quick ones then the Pride score to win five to four

I took the opportunity to watch the Conference Final of the SMJHL Playoffs, Game 5 between Kelowna and Vancouver. It was a do or die game for Vancouver, who looked like they were climbing into their coffin early, as a shellacking began. But the Whalers made a change in net and came out swinging, putting forth a valiant effort for the remainder of the game. What was a 4-1 game after one period turned into a 7-7 white knuckle thrill ride. Gutsy efforts from William Marshal, If You Aint First, and No Cheddar brought the Whalers back from the dead. But a hat trick effort from Bartholomew and an impassioned effort from Jauhnne Hawky helped lead the mighty Knights to victory, with the game winning goal coming with just over a minute to go from Pierre LeBlanc, and an empty net goal being added.  The game saw all four goaltenders used, as this was clearly a balls to the wall offensive effort. Defense be damned!

"Breakfast Smrekfast! The Whale? They only beat Vancouver once, maybe twice in a lifetime!" Wait...that quote doesn't really apply here.  Good game all!

7 (150 of watched stream): I've watched just about every stream, however the most exciting one at the time I'm writing this has to be R1 of the playoffs, Day 3. My team (STL) is up 3-2 in the series going into game six against OTT. The scarecrows got off to a hot start, leading 3-1 in the first period with goals from Honk Shoo, CHIVO, and Zac Peters. The game then had quite the lull in excitement for the 2nd period where neither team could find the back of the net. Then came the 3rd period.. action really stepped up. OTT scored back to back goals within two minutes of each other to tie the game up at 3. With five minutes left, Paul Missthenet didn't miss and put STL up by one (4-3). Just over a minute later, OTT ties it up (4-4). With a 1:57 left on the clock, Dydney Frosby nets one past STL and brings OTT into the lead (4-5). Less than twenty seconds later (1:28 left) Theo Caufield ties it up 5-5. Game heads to OT. With a lightning fast strike just 18 seconds into OT, Swiffer Sweeper of STL sends STL to the second in a huge upset. 6-5 OT finish. With STL taking the series 4-2.

8 (Rookie survey): Completed
