Deciding to keep the players with the team that they already started getting integrated into was the right decision if the SHLs senior officials aims to do right by the individual player. With that said, HAM definitely should’ve lost their next first rounder or something rather than a second round pick in 16 months

Yes teddy has done an amazing amount of work for the site, yes it’s not anywhere near this without him. That doesn’t make him infallible. It doesn’t mean people shouldn’t question. Nour recused himself (rightfully) because of ties to the team, and teddy who is well known mr hamilton and still rocks a ham pfp in his avatar stepped over them to make a ruling. It looks bad, is probably just looking bad and nothing more than that, but this is a very bad look for the site.

It also doesnt help that the only other active owner came in here with a fuck you attitude

I’m not saying the decision isn’t infallible, I’m just saying if you’ve interacted w Teddy at all you know he’s not the type of individual to let personal biases influence an owners decision. Again, I also don’t think it was the right severity of punishment, but to come in here and say shit like Mr Steelhawk himself had to come save his team and shit is just plain dumb.

Regarding Leafs response, That’s also not exactly a Teddy issue, and I think JYs response to Leafs was well put and well said and I, like everyone else, look forward to his response.

Oh i should clarify, i love teddy to a fault, he knows it, and i fully believe he could do no wrong. My statement is mostly regarding the way the owners are being viewed as a whole rn

So if you read what I said you would take what I said a bit differently. I am not saying he’s maliscious in intent at all. Anyone who has spent 5 minutes with teddy would know this. He is the blood of this fucking league for god sakes. I’m saying this is way overstepping not even letting Head Office do their job. They could have prepped this post and dropped it after, but they didn’t.
