s80 is defiantly worth celebrating as any year that something like this can be going on and people still enjoying the sim league is a success. of course the big 100 is huge but this is something great as well

Season 80 is just a stepping stone to season 100. We celebrate every 25 seasons, and that's fine. Celebrating every five seasons would cheapen the celebrations themselves. We're fine with the longer waits.

Being 80 means you're officially super old, the SHL is turning senile, has memory issues, and sometimes poops their pants. All the quarters (25,50,75) and 10s are equally important to the journey to season 100. To celebrate, we should allow a day of legal tampering.

In my opinion, 80 is just a stepping stone towards the 100th season. Usually milestones are celebrated every 25 years in order to keep things fresh and a big celebration is coming for the 100th season.

I think 75 is a more important milestone but I do think it's refreshing to walk into a new decade of the SHL! S80 is going to bring a lot with it with the broadcasting team and other new ideas as the league continues to improve in so many ways!

Season 80 is a milestone, but not worth celebrating like S75. The law of 25 make up the huge celebrations. 25, 50, 75, 100 and so on, but to have season 80 is quite a feat. Well done everybody that have been involved. KUDOS

I certainly think that 80 is important, maybe not as important as 75 jubilee, but it is still an achievement. I don’t think I was very much able to appreciate the 75th season as I only joined around season 73, but having been here for a few seasons and learning a bit about all that goes into the league, I think 80 seasons of it is crazy awesome.

Any multiple of 10 is worth celebrating! I'm a firm believer in it being important to celebrate even the small things in life. 100 is a pretty big milestone and I'm sure the celebration for that one will be even bigger, which should be a good time! 80 seasons of a sim league is quite impressive!

When I think of time, I think of it in fractions. With season 80 being 4/5 of 100, I think it’s only appropriate that we allot each player 4 fifths of alcohol on the bench that they may consume during games throughout the season. Score a goal, celebrate with a shot? Having a bad game? How about a shot? I know some booze always makes me a better golfer. I think it’s going to be a great year for the Russian players.

In terms of being a noteworthy date to celebrate, S75 is much more significant in being 3/4 of the way to 100. In terms of overall league success, every season past S75 is the best as it means the league lasted that much longer.

I think the 80th season is a big deal. It’s not 100 yet, but it shows how far the league has come. Celebrate with special jerseys, highlight past legends, and maybe a commemorative All-Star game. It’s about honoring the journey while looking ahead.
