After seeing your last training session or game, a local film director decided to make you or your team the cast for his next film. He decides to leave the production legwork up to you, letting you call the shots around the set. What kind of movie are you going to make? Who will be the main character? The love interest? What will the plot look like?
25 words minimum!
You will receive 1 TPE for fulfilling all requirements.

Graders reserve the right to determine what is malicious. You will not be warned. Only S81 SMJHL rookies (S82 SHL draftees) are eligible for this task.

I'm probably going to make a movie called "The Puck," which is essentially giving a hockey puck a first person view. The puck will be able to talk to it's owner (K.J Daniels), and build a relationship with him throughout his hockey journey. My goal is the movie to be similar to Hachi, with the puck and the hockey player becoming best friends.

The movie will be about a hockey team who have to find a new sport to play after global warming causes all of the ice rinks to melt (don't think about it too hard). They try out a variety of sports - football, basketball, handball, volleyball, baseball - before eventually discovering the South Asian sport of kabaddi and falling in love with it, eventually moving to India to play it professionally. Naturally, Pasta the Turtle II will be the main character - who better to play a tag-based sport than a turtle?

The Armada would be filming an action movie. The main character would of course be the captain Dieter Frühstück a down on his luck cop looking for his friends to help him solve a crime syndicate. Patrick would be the new rookie cop that is impressive but raw. Figgy would be the captain who is trying to keep everyone in line. It would be called "drunk and disorderly".

I don’t mind filming one of those success story movies that you sometimes find in the sports genre. Sure, some things might be exaggerated, but if we have some shining lights goal to aspire to reach, maybe the players on the team will help actualize it. I’d focus on the entire Maine Timber team rather than just one player too - give everyone their moment in the sun!

My movie is about kid who goes to college after growing up on the university's campus, literally. He falls in love with a girl who's from out of town.

My movie would be called "The Underdog", and essentially it would focus on a minor league team that is struggling to compete with all of the other teams. Then a talented, but troubled hockey player joins the mix and he helps lead that underdog squad to success while also figuring out his own struggles. Throughout this, the entire team develops and becomes one cohesive unit.

Directed by Michael Bay with a screenplay by RLG91, and featuring an ensemble cast of Kraken players and original soundtrack by @Zinny, my film would be an Ocean's Eleven-esque heist movie. The twist? The team has no idea what they're trying to steal. Everything is on fire. Where did @Hetaksh find that wooden leg? Why is @kahri yelling again? Where does RDNH keep getting those chicken nuggies? Tune into the biggest blockbuster event of the summer, coming to a theatre near you (tickets are non-refundable).

I think the Kelowna Knights would star in a remastered French version of Monty Python and the Quest for the Holy Grail. LeBlanc would star as the rookie québécois on the team, and his love interest would be Laurence Leboeuf. It would follow the same beats as the original but with it taking place in old Québec city and a greater focus on the French making fun of the questing knights.

As a big Beau is Afraid fan, I would immediately involve Ari Aster and Joaquin Phoenix to develop a complex, fear-inducing story about a young hockey player who gets drafted to play in Quebec but misses his flight and has to go on a surreal odyssey through Canadian towns that become increasingly hostile to him. Nobody speaks his language, he is accused of various crimes, and all of his money and gear is stolen. When he calls his parents, they do not believe him and instead chastise him for being irresponsible. When he eventually arrives at the team's practice facility, nobody knows who he is and there is no record of him having been drafted. The film is labeled as a comedy and is commercially unsuccessful despite a cult following.

Oooh, this is early on in my career, so I feel like it has to be something where Passarelli isn't the main character and they just make a cameo appearance. Similar to Favre in Harry Met Sally way back in the 90's. I think first and foremost, it would probably be a rom-com, as those can be pretty plug and play, and Passarelli has no idea how he'll be in front of the camera. Definitely would work to fill the trope of athletic, built bf of the main character's love interest, who he needs win over so the movie can have a happy ending. Super rote, but the box office would eat that up!

The movie would be called ‘Juniors’ focused on newly drafted players. The movie would be a comedy featuring the rookies of the Kelowna Knights and all the shenanigans they get into on their first season in the SMJHL. The opening scene of the movie is the team bus getting pulled over by the RCMP just as the club left the arena. Think ‘Super Troopers’ meets Mighty Ducks with a side of Goon

My movie would be called "Battleborn". It is authentic behind the scenes stuff of how things are done in Nevada and what drills our team does in trainings. Every player and team member will be a part of the film. It will tell a story about our "growing pains" as we have so many rookies in the team

The movie will be about a boy who falls in love with hockey and can't get enough of it but his country gets brought into war halting his ability to play hockey. Eventually after the war the boy is able to play again and is able to make a career of it and join a professional hockey league fulfilling his childhood dream.
