I would say that Noel had a pretty good season all things considered. While he is no longer 'the guy' on the Aurora (and has not been for a few seasons now), he has settled in nicely in a supporting player role as the 2C with PP2 and PK2 time. Despite a horrendous start to the season where he had only 5 assists with 12 shots in 16 games, he eventually turned on the afterburners and finished the year off with a handy 32 goals and 42 assists for 74 points in 66 games. This is pretty consistent with his last few seasons where he scored 70 and 67 points respectively. However that was not the end of Blanchet's year as we are currently in round 3 of the playoffs holding a 2-0 lead over the Seattle Argonauts. Noel currently sits 7 goals and 10 assists in what has been a successful playoff to this point, however none of that matters as the real goal is finally hoisting the Challenge Cup for the first time in his career (and my SHL tenure). He will do whatever it takes to make that happen.

Hugh Manius had a decent season the Colorado Raptors this past season. The raptures themselves had a good season overall Finishing second in the league in points of first the Cain-Robinson Memori division and Atlantic Conference. Having a plus 76 goal differential. As for Hugh himself had a fairly good season. Mr. Manius end up averaging over 23 minutes a game. Hugh racked up 14 goals with 32 assists for 46 points and was a plus 28. Hugh also had a 54 to 8 take away to give away ratio and had 120 block shots. In addition, Manius was able to show his power play skills by have 10 power play goals. So in closing Hugh had a nice season for the Colorado Raptors will he be able to rack up similar numbers next season, who knows I think that depend on what the New Orleans Specters does or does not do with Hugh next season.
Written Task: Tell me about how your season went. Did you exceed expectations? Is regression starting to bite? Did you set a new career high? Did your team do better or worse? How did you factor there? What are your hopes for the playoffs - this year or next? (150+ words)
The Calgary Dragons had a very good regular season with 41 wins. There were many facets of the game in which the Dragons excelled: the team was 1st in the league for Shot Blocks, 1st for fewest giveaways, 2nd for takeaways. They had a strong Goals For, a better Goals Against, and finished with 5 players scoring more than 70 points, a first in franchise history.
Playoffs were a different story, though. Although the team did gain Vengeance on the Edmonton Blizzard by winning their first round matchup, the Dragons fizzled out in the second round, getting swept by Seattle in a series that wasn't particularly close. I personally thought we deserved better, but there's nothing we can do about it now.
In a lot of ways, this was a final season for an era of Dragons hockey. Players like Alexis Saint-Michele and Eero Makela announced their retirements and the team will undergo a management change and could perhaps see things move in a different direction.
For Grogu, a 40+ goal season and also led the entire league in takeaways. Pretty proud of that one, it's always cool to lead the league in some statistic or other! And given Grogu has a chance for an unprecedented 4th straigh Dar Trophy, thhat stat will go a long way to ensuring he is in the conversation!
My season went about how I expected it to go. I was able to put up a career high number of hits and maintain a good points pace. I hit 17 goals again matching last season total, while assisting on 40 goals for a career high. I was a bit better overall on the ice, though my give aways were way too high. I have been pretty happy with my career so far in the SMJHL and with Newfoundland. I am hoping to go deep into the playoffs this time around as I think it will be my last in the J. The Berserkers have been a top tier team and I have been happy to be apart of the group for the last two seasons. Next season, if I am with the Monarchs, I am hoping to make a strong rookie showing. I know the team is rebuilding, but the pieces there now have been doing so well that it is hard not to get excited over it all.
With the season being over, you can bet to see some major staffing changes amongst the Yukon Malamutes. I have managed to not name any names all season, and I will continue to do that now. *stares at non disclosure agreement* This person made enemies with not only me, Sydney Shaw, the captain. But also Ray and Alvin, both of the ass caps. Heck, I even got private complaints from some of the rookies. And other rookies are too oblivious to notice. The situation in the last week has calmed down significantly since news from upper management on how it is being handled. Once this is said and done, I think we will still be friends even though we had our disagreements. You can be a good person and a bad coach. Oh and the fans, they are happy and oblivious and it’ll stay this way.
How will it end you ask? Well remember, I always win.

Tell me about how your season went. Did you exceed expectations? Is regression starting to bite? Did you set a new career high? Did your team do better or worse? How did you factor there? What are your hopes for the playoffs - this year or next? (150+ words)
Edžus has been impressed with his own production this year. Sure, everyone on Maine’s roster was incredible, but Edžus felt like a difference maker. He had 85 points and over 30 goals, and helped Maine secure its first league leading season, en route to a historic 100 points season. 85 points obviously was a career high for Ozolins, as were the 30+ goals and the 50 assists he got while being on the Timber’s top 6. Regression definitely isn’t close to happening, if anything great development shows off in how he plays. This, combined with the insane management group and coaches in is J team, caused a wonderful season for every teammate of his. As for the development of Edžus in the management side, he became Latvia’s co-fed Head and also one of Maine’s assistant captain, something that makes him proud every time he looks at the letter on his jersey. Overall, Ozolins exceeded expectations and is very happy with this year.
How'd my season go? I was a rookie goalie for Tampa Bay. Think i managed 13 wins in 57 games? I didn't have a HUGE amount of TPE but was not terrible. Starting the year at something like 880 and ending at 930 TPE. There was soft growth and some of those wins were snagged, August's game has started to round things out and going forward he should be able to get better and better.
That's kind of the same for the team too. Most of the older Veteran core is slowly aging out but Tampa has more prospects ready in a season or two to come up. Case of a rebuild gone right. However like the San Jose Sharks of the mid 1990s, all sorts of young players are looking to become house hold names. Young lads like Lord Zomp, Holden Steady, and Taschen Messer are starting to become big names in the Sunshine State. Then you have this little German goaltender who is both usually in position and able to stop a decent amount of rubber. I mean he saw 2300 slabs of rubber. They only saw more rubber in Toronto.
This season for me was beyond my wildest expectations. Never did I expect to go over a point per game in my second season in the J. 35 goals, 38 assists, 73 points is no small feat, but having that many definitely makes the plus minus even more embarrassing than it is, as even with all those points, Lambert still went -29 on the season (lol). Our team hit a bit of a lull in the middle of the season, but we finished strong to get into playoffs, and made a decent run, even if it wasn't as deep as we would have liked or experienced the past two years. However, the future is bright in Carolina, with a number of fantastic up and coming rookies ready to fill the roles of players moving up to the show next season that can bring the energy to the locker room that we need to make another push this upcoming season.

After Coach Knight-King's defeat at the hands of Hodor's water boy's sister, Knight-King decided to retire and head back north to his home (about 10 miles away). It was about time for his retirement considering he was about 10,000 years old. Hodor's water boy's sister decided to pursue her hobbies of face mask making and horseback riding by seeking a career in movie special effects and being a jockey part-time. Hodor's water boy got a wheel chair after their legs were crippled and got an emotional support raven to hang out with. He even trained it to say, "corn!" a lot which really gets on the team's nerves. Hodor himself will continue to play for Texas but as a gesture of goodwill he sometimes visits Knight-King to help his aged ex-coach with tasks around the house, including picking him up and moving him, making long treks to the grocery store, and holding the door.
With the season coming to it's long end, it's time for Dion to rest and recouperate. Having 2 nearly concurent seasons was rough on his body but now he gets to take some time off and rest and recover. With his debut in the majors at the SHL level coming next season there is no telling what he'll neeed to do to improve himself enough to take on that gruling challenge. In his last season in the J, James Dion had 74 points and was 10th among skaters in the J with 37 goals. The other 37 points being assists, Dion Showed he can both go score and set up teammates at a high rate. This likely won't keep up as he joins a whole new level of competition with a very compeititve league in the SHL. Dion entering his early prime in baseball (which is ahead in developement) could see the focus net season, as there he is on the contending Voyagers, and they need everything he has. But for now, a happy season of solid work.
Patya am thinking season go very well. Patya finally am have breakout season and am much scoring! Is very excite! Maybe Patya play even better next season? Who can be knowing! Patya do think is sad for have to play Chicago AGAIN in playoffs, is always same. Am always play Chicago. Maybe next season make playoffs and playing someone else? Would be nice. Patya not thinking regressing starting to bite yet. Patya not that old, but Patya not that young. Patya probably in athletic prime, as you call it. Patya pretty sure this new career high for points, but also Patya score many goals! Patya even finally be on all-star team! THIS SO EXCITING FOR PATYA! Also, Patya saying team do a little worse, but not much. Hoping for go deeper in playoffs next season! Patya want for maybe win cup! But Patya not be disappointed if this not happen, Patya just excited for play more of the hockeys!
Player Prompt:
This season wasn't anything special for Collin Gibbles. He wasn't breaking any records or setting anything on fire as he has settled into a more defensive minded play style in his old age. He is still a master at takeaways but far from the days when he lead the league every single season. Age is definitely starting to show on the veteren as he looks towards his 24th season in the SHL. He also finally has retired from international play after serving on Team USA from Season 49 to Season 69. Gibbles has been doing a lot more reflecting these days as he can tell it's only a matter of time before some of the young prospects in the Minnesota pipeline take his spot on the team. He might make it to his 25th season if he's lucky but right now he's taking it a season at a time. He also recently jumped up to take 2nd all time in shots blocked which many find impressive for a player that spent the first part of his career as a forward.
